"Phantom manipulation." Devin cast and his magic transformed the old technology in the lab, he had taken the perfected blueprints from Ben, somehow in the process, he had learned of how the Neo world harnessed its power through Ben and created a self sustaining dimension. "Wow." Theo mumbled beside Devin with an awestruck stare. "Don't act so surprised have you seen the one in the neo realm, I've already asked Ben to buy real estate there." The ghost chortled making Theo laugh alongside him.
"It's still impressive, the garden and lower floor had been transformed as well, you're really talented." The fae commented just as Tai flew by and waved at Theo. "You two seem to be even more in love, enlighten me, how you've achieved this." Devin asked as they moved checking the pods for any malfunction. "Nothing honestly, I've just decided to love him, stop holding back, even if it means putting my life into the hands of someone not as strong as me." Theo replied honestly making the ghost beside him smile. Indeed the fae had learned a lot since Ben came, he rediscovered himself after a long time of being shrouded in darkness.
With the witch came a lot of changes, Devin had to admit that these changes had been drastic but they had ensured peace for a very very long time and he appreciated it, kill day was abolished and so were the brutal traditions of the school, it was as if Halwright was becoming a beacon of change for a lot of people, the school was no longer viewed as one for weak outcasts, but as a place, one could master control and if they won this war, the mystics kingdoms and their people would know that their rightful leaders had changed and become the people they were meant to be.
Theo and Devin moved from the healing lab to the upper floor where the alchemy lab was, Lario was moving around ordering mystics all around, but they all seemed to rather enjoy it making both the fae and ghost chuckle in amusement. "Take it easy Lario, you're acting like Ben." Devin mused and the witch wasn't in the least bit insulted, he rather looked proud of that comparison. "You're actually proud of it!" Theo blurted out between laughter and all three were laughing yet again.
"Its just, I need these artifacts ready, with Kyra and Ben in the desert, I'm the only one who trained with Ben to know what he wanted exactly, the tiniest dent could have me redoing everything myself." Lario explained as fingers combed through his white hair, rather the top white of his hair, ever since he mated with the wendigo, his appearance changed along with his diet, his black hair turned white at the top half, his tan skin was now perfectly white as snow like his mate. "I'm sure you'll do fine, don't worry." Devin comforted as he looked at three of the finished artifacts.
"Those are deities of protection and elements right?" The ghost questioned with burning curiosity, Lario nodded and Devin remembered the pillar theory. "I was thinking, the abominations are forces of nature right, but they have been dormant for a long time, how would Mael resurrect them, he would need an enormous amount of power." Devin explained and the two beside him were in deep thought. "As an angel, I would attempt using the pillars of Holiness." A new voice cut through them, he was dazzling as always.
Alarion moved to kiss his mate before turning to nod at the others with a smile. "Hey that's right, Ben told me he replicated the creation spell for the pillars to make his own in the Neo Realm, the spell was further recreated here at the school, the pillars that protect us." Lario explained and all of them seemed to understand how Mael was going to resurrect the abominations. "The pillars of holiness created by the angels, have been lost to time, I only know where one is, because my whole being is connected to it." Alarion explained with a grave look.
"And Mael would know where the pillar of control is, he will use it, we need to stop him." Devin surmised and they all seemed to register the same shock Alarion had, indeed Mael was the angel gifted with the pillars of control, he could draw from the power. "Shit we need to find them and go there now." Lario exclaimed in urgency. "We have to find a map that has all the continents, all I know is that they are placed over several continents, then forgotten." The angel replied and immediately Lario teleported them all to the Great Library.
"There is a map around here find it." He ordered and all four went their separate ways. Theo was looking in the restricted section of the library, it was only for staff, but right then he damned the staff. "I found it." The witch Lario called out and he immediately flew up and toward the witch, he had spread the map on the ground, 13 continents to be exact, and six pillars to find, it was like digging for a needle in a whole barn full of hay. "Ben and Kyra are better at tracking than me." Lario mumbled but a hand on his shoulder made him lookup.
"You can do this, Ben and Kyra left you in charge of the witches for a reason, so don't doubt yourself when they clearly have faith in you." Devin encouraged and the witch nodded gratefully, Lario flicked his fingers and black sand appeared in his palm, he grabbed a knife from thin air and gestured for Alarion to come close. "Angels created them, and a royal one with a connection can be used to find them." He explained slitting open Alarion's palm, he let the angel bleed over the map mixing it with black sand, once he was satisfied the angel healed his palm.
"Inveniat austiurm et etetenra voum." The witch cast his spell over the map, he channeled the mana in the angel blood spilled over the map, the black sand began to move as he repeated his spell. "I think it's working." Theo mumbled as he moved to watch the sand move over the map, it settled over the ice continent and Alarion stiffened with that answer. "Babe, what's wrong?" Devin asked the angel noticing him stiffen. "We found the body of one of the abominations in the Shade mountains, now a pillar is also there." He explained just as an earthquake shook everything in the school.
Devin waved his hand the school barrier responded, soon after everything was normal for them just not everywhere else, Devin felt time being disturbed, he looked up to check the time on the clock to see it moving backwards at a fast pace. "The pillar of time, it's being corrupted." Alarion muttered looking at none particular. "It's in the desert near where Ben and the others went, let's go." Lario called out and they all held hands and vanished.

If there was one thing Ben hated was messing with natural law and nature, he was a witch, and witches upheld these laws as if they were sacred text, Kyra, Hayes, and himself had found the crypt of another abomination in the desert, he had used the purifux orb to take what he needed and scorched the body, as they were returning to the surface an earthquake almost made the whole crypt collapse on itself,  if it weren't for their quick thinking it would've been so.
"Time is being messed with, we need to go." Ben announced and took both Kyra and Hayes's hands without further explanation, they appeared in front of a massive structure, from the looks of it, the structure had been hidden by sand and a very strong cloaking spell but both had been removed. "Ben look!" Kyra yelled over the rumble, in far off distance he could see angels channeling mana from the massive golden pillar into a body, Ben quickly realized what they were doing.
"Stop them!" Alarion yelled as their friends appeared, Kyra and Hayes wasted no time, the arch demon sent a wave of earthquakes to disrupt the energy flow, behind him Kyra was freezing everything. Ben snapped his fingers and everything froze, time itself had stopped, he had placed a temporal dimension where the concept of time didn't exist, he teleported to where the pillar was and laid his hand on it, ancient hieroglyphs appeared and spread all over the golden structure, he cut off it's connection to the angels completely, time wasn't to be disturbed there were things far worse in the world held prisoner by time.
He waved his hand again and threw away the angels, he wondered where Mael was and why he was sending lackeys to do his job, he didn't dwell on it for so long, he released the temporal dimension and time moved again only this time everything wasn't alright, the lid over the sarcophagus burst open and a man with wild raging red eyes emerged from within, he looked around and vanished leaving the angels, they were immediately captured by Theo but their work was done, an abomination had been resurrected.
"How did you guys get here, or know where to come?" Hayes questioned after they regrouped. "Long story short, Devin figured out Mael needed a power source like the neo realm to resurrect the abominations but where would an angel find that much power." Alarion explained gesturing to the pillar Ben had nullified and put under his control. "If he found this pillar and knows it worked we can only assume he will do it again, we need to stop them before they do this again." Hayes announced and snapped his fingers.
"The pillars of Holiness were created to create balance with the demonic circles, only that the angels fell short in completely finding balance at first, so they added more power to specific pillars to create that balance, Mael will go to these three pillars in order to resurrect another abomination, this is the map of those three pillars, Ben has nullified this one, Kyra can deal with the other two whilst Ben and I go to the eastern isles where the third abomination is." Hayes instructed as they separated into two teams.
"Be careful and good luck, if you get attacked try avoid it, we don't know how powerful our enemy is therefore let's not give the enemy a glimpse of ours." Devin instructed both groups and vanished with Kyra, Lario, and Alarion. "Let's get a move on as well, Mael will know we killed their angels." Theo announced and moved to walk beside Ben. "I don't know why Mael is doing this, it's now becoming a little too scary." Ben mumbled holding onto Hayes and vanished with the fae and the demon toward the eastern isles.

"They figured it out." Nico relayed looking at the angel standing by the arched window. "Of course my beautiful Benjamin would figure it out, he's not only the strongest witch but also the smartest, I take it he nullified the Pillar of Time." Mael replied and the witch nodded. "That's what you all don't get, Ben didn't nullify the pillar, he rerouted the excessive power to a dimension strictly of his domain, he made it that only he can get power of the pillar." The angel mumbled shocking Nico.
"How did you know that?" The witch choked out. "Because I know my love, I haven't fully grasped his mind but I know some things, he's headed for the third abomination, don't intercept him, he will kill you, plus we have a guest arriving soon." Mael instructed as he walked away from the window, Nico was silent, he wondered what went on in Mael's head, how he knew Ben like this, he also wondered how Ben did the things he did, power was what he felt from the witch but something about Ben, Hayes, and Mael always made him curious.
How or what were they.
