"Ben where, what the hell!" Alarion exclaimed as they moved past images of what happened in the past, most images were of the old school before the hybrids were ever at Halwright. "My power over time gives me control to move into the past and into the future, with vision that power is magnified to however I want because he is the representation of time itself." The witch explained to the angel and the hybrid beside him.
"How have you obtained so much in so little time?" The hybrid Annel questioned as he looked in awe at Benjamin who seemed to have an answer for him right then. "Sometimes when the weak are forced to be strong, we tend to become resilient and gain power through any means, there is a darkness in all of us through the ways in which we gain our power but that's exactly what makes us strong." Ben replied as the flurry of images finally stopped at the time when the school was built.
"What do you see?" Ben asked Annel, as they were in the middle of a gravel filled field, the first of the students were being welcomed to the school, all boys with scowls and grim faces that seem to radiate despair and hate. "Suffering." Alarion replied as he looked at the boys who all seemed to suffer. "Exactly, this is where it all began, it was the best place to place away your children, forget them, and in turn, they forgot you, none of them were wanted, and the witches here were those who suffered most because of the purge as well." Ben explained and snapped his fingers.
They all appeared by the great hall, Halwright was in midst of war. "My kin." Annel mumbled as he looked at the figures of those who were on top, killing and fighting. "This is the battle that changed everything, the nobles executed the hybrids but also learned something else, something the school was meant for." Ben added as he looked at the figures of the remaining council members that governed Halwright. "The hybrids had been tamed and their power was incredible." Annel replied as he wiped away a tear. "From then on, the royals sought to bring their own children here, so that they could be tamed, but that plan had a flaw." Alarion was the one who had spoken as Ben snapped his fingers again.
They were back to kill day, Benjamin arriving at the school, this was the factor they never accounted for, Halwright had been a school of unfairness, death, and misery, the royal clans fought for power, but they didn't account for someone to intervene and set off a chain reaction that would change a lot of things in Halwright. "The royal clans didn't account on you going to the school did they, but I'm sensing there is more to it." Annel pressed on and Alarion smirked.
"Benjamin is an anomaly that shouldn't have happened, as you must have realized he's born from a union between a brother and sister, the previous king was a half blood Syre and so was his sister, the two were mated resulting in the current king, his sister and Ben, his siblings are half bloods but somehow Benjamin wasn't half, he was both a siphon and a nephalium." The angel smugly remarked as Ben moved past them. "So that's how you were able to gain your power." Annel added as he looked at the witch.
"The royal clans had no knowledge of my existence except my sister's mate, who sadly isn't hers anymore, I found Halwright as a place one would never want to be, there was so much pain, so much death, they were powerful no doubt but also broken, and what set me off was that my best friend was part of that and I had sent him to Halwright hoping he would survive, I found out he had, but at a cost." Ben explained as the images all around them blurred and blended until they showed the time Ben was claimed by the demon Hayes.
.
"You should've died." Annel blurted out making Ben chuckle. "I should have but that's the thing, I didn't and as I stand here I'm currently the witch with more access to demonic magic than anyone else, but that's not why I'm showing you this, I hated him at first, then I fell in love with him, I learned about his inner nightmares and he told me about the inner nightmares of all the council members, along with the secrets Halwright kept, the mystics here were all part of a plan, they were sent to hone their power then be used as weapons but I couldn't allow it." Ben explained as he changed the scenery.
"I helped them accept themselves then I taught them to accept others who were just like them." He added as he showed the images of Robin and Carter as they fought their beastly nature and overcame them, along with accepting their mates. Annel smiled looking at the wendigo and witch happily laughing and loving each other. "You changed the school bit by bit and made it a powerhouse, along with that you gained loyalty and trust, never shouldered the burden alone because you had those people around you to help you." Annel mumbled looking around as the images changed, the once dark gloomy forbidden forest looking ever so green and inviting, the school bright and sunny, the old traditions banished and put away.
"The angel King doesn't want this because he knows if Halwright fights back the other mystic schools and royals will be forced to recognize that Halwright is more than just a place for outcasts, but a place where true power is born, not through pain and death but determination and absolute loyalty, he can't have that weaken the supposed strongest mystic school along with his own personal plan to rid the world of other mystics races, that he and his father never saw fit to survive at all." Benjamin explained as he moved them back to the present time.
"You have made an impact on the school Benjamin, you've changed it all, made the mystics better and accept who they are, not as abominations of nature with no control but beings that just need extra understanding and care, I never thought I'd see the day that this school would be like that, it's truly liberating, thank you witch of fury though it seems you also hold life." Annel bowed in respect toward Ben which surprised the angel beside Ben.
"You're welcome Annel, but no need to be so formal, after all, you're my elder." Ben modestly refused but both Annel and Alarion chuckled. "Your brother wanted to use the pillars to activate the spell he would've used to destroy Halwright, but without access to them it's been foiled, he can only kill you Alarion, to obtain your power but it won't work, he knows that which leaves him the option of striking an all out battle against Halwright." Annel relayed making Alarion apprehensive.
"Why the sudden change of heart?" He questioned and the hybrid looked at Ben. "Because I'm no longer in a generation of my own, there are others now and the witch of fury is ushering in a new dawn for all of us abominations and I want to see where his wind will blow, I want to be there to witness his victory, I serve him now for he did not kill me on sight but rather showed me the way." Annel replied and the angel smiled, it was always Ben who changed hearts and inspired loyalty when it was hard to obtain. They found themselves back on the rocky plain beach, a white barrier appeared around them all forcing the three onto their knees.
"What's going on?" Ben choked out as he tried to move, gravity weighed down on him like never before and it seemed to be targeting him the most. "It's Mael, he's attacking the school." Alarion replied as he struggled to get up, Annel was in the same state just as the angel granted with the pillar of control appeared in front of them with a grin on his face. "I knew you would betray me Annel, Benjamin is like that, you'll always feel safe with him, he will always be the one to run to because after all, he's the one person capable of doing anything he sets his mind on." Mael exclaimed as he walked toward the white barrier.
He swiped his fingers and the body of Taylor appeared on the ground. "I had to be a little bit drastic with him, he's young but make no mistake, he's strong." The angel added as his boot settled on the unconscious Taylor, tears filled Ben's eyes, how could Mael do this. "Don't be so angry my love, I did this for you, we can have kids of our own and you won't have to worry about strays." Mael carelessly spoke kicking away Taylor, Alfin appeared and caught him but he seemed injured, Ben wondered what had happened in the time he was gone.
He reached out to vision but he couldn't connect, something was wrong with him and the Neo realm, something was wrong with everyone aswell. "Alarion something is wrong, he's blocking my powers, I can't reach the school." Ben sent out the telepathic message and received grunts in return. "I made this especially for you baby, cause you've been naughty my love, you forced my hand, now I have to destroy your precious little school and I'm about to do it with your oh so loyal friends." The angel relayed making Ben snap his head toward the school, the mirrors flashed white reflecting a massive amount of power from none other than Theo and Kyra.
He was the angel of Control, the ruler of the domain that spanned into a million things. "Hayes." Ben mumbled as tears fell from his eyes, he could feel his demon fight for his own control, he could feel all of them fighting for control. "Alarion, fight it." Ben called out as Alarion writhed in agony on the sand. "Poor, poor Benny, look what you're doing to them, even Annel who would've been spared." Mael uttered as he walked closer to his barrier, his creation thanks to Nico and Kaiser. "Salom malva et semir lavta entant." Ben mumbled as his eyes turned into black pools.
"You're going to pay for this Mael." Ben announced as he released his aura, the power was enough to break the barrier instantly and fire erupted all around Benjamin and spread toward Annel and Alarion. "Get out of my domain, angel of Control." Both Alarion and Annel could tell that the person who they all saw as Ben wasn't it, that was a witch out for revenge. "God Circle: Rah's Purging Light." Ben began to shimmer as he rose from the ground, Mael held out his hand but it seemed he didn't have an effect on the witch anymore.
Ben rose higher and higher just as his light flared out and burnt away Mael's control over everything he had touched with his magic, Ben's light healed and touched every part of the school, everyone could feel the waves of power rolling off him in pure white hot light. When the light subsided everyone was back to normal, six tetragrams had appeared around Ben, his skin was littered with demon marks and hieroglyphs. "How dare you touch my son!" Ben yelled as he looked at Mael aiming a lance at his head, the golden spear flew in burning fury, Mael dodged in seconds but the blast of golden fire still caught him.
"Hayes." Ben called out again. "I'm alright my love, but Mael brought an army, and I don't think it's just one school, Devin has narrowed it to three at best, this is the final battle my love, can we win this." Hayes replied from the school, he sounded worried and for good reason, Mael had assembled an armada that dwarfed Halwright, the angel in question flew up to meet Ben who was wrapped in his defense. "Playing dirty huh?" Ben asserted and the angel shrugged. "I knew you would never expect it so I did it, and now here we are my love, I have an army that will crush everything you hold dear, after that you and I will go back home, this rebellious tirade of yours will be over." Mael replied confidently  like a predator with its eyes on the prey.
"I have a home and you just threatened it." Ben replied as golden fire erupted at his feet and began burning away his form, on the ground, Alarion witnessed the same thing, golden fire had erupted at his feet and began burning away his form, he opened his eyes to find himself back at school, all the supremes were gathered there. "The final battle has come." Ben announced as he appeared next to Hayes who took his time in kissing Ben. "As Ruler the only one I'm allowed to fight is Mael but you all aren't held by the rules, so give them hell." Ben added after he had been molested by his demon.
"We all know where our strength lies, the barrier will hold and you must win, that's the only way we can survive." Hayes proclaimed as he looked at his fellow mystics and friends, they had all made the promise, none of the students would fight they would in their place along with their seconds. "Ben I want to help." Annel spoke up shocking everyone. "Then help us survive Annel, help us save our home from those who want to take if from us." Alarion replied as he held his mate.
"You know the plan, for Halwright!" Tate called out and the school replied his call. "For Halwright!"
