"Babe, they finally did it, they're having a third child." Kyra announced to his husband as they were sitting in the large backyard of their two story home sipping on late afternoon tea, for Kyra ofcourse and Robin was eyeing him suspiciously, but that changed when Kyra announced his news. "Wait, aren't we on our second child?" Robin questioned in shock and the witch groaned. "You clearly weren't listening, I said third child, Ben and his husbands are having another baby, this time it's biologically Tate's." Kyra added more information as finally Robin registered the news. "Wow, they will not stop, I am happy for them though." Robin mumbled in response but Kyra narrowed his eyes on him. "You sound less enthusiastic, much like the time I told you your dad bought me a car, what's wrong?" He questioned and Robin sighed looking at his husband who was waiting patiently as always.
"I just feel like we should be the ones celebrating more of the good news, ever since I took the crown, the burden of it, it's gotten to a point where I can't stand it, I'm home late daily, our first child rolled then crawled, —I wasn't there for it, now yeah, we're having our second, but I miss out on all the doctors appointments nomatter how much I try, I am not happy or okay with it, I want to spend time with my family, my love, enjoy the life I fought to have like Ben, Tate, even Hayes who told his father to screw off." Robin exclaimed taking out all the frustrations he had in that rant, Kyra who was silent smiled at his husband, instead of scolding him or asking stupid questions, he hugged him, waited for him to relax. "I was wondering when you would blow." He strangely replied and Robin gawked, his jaw to the ground. "I'm your mate idiot, I know you,—feelings, emotions, the whole bloodlust, the entirety of you." Kyra explained as he took Robin's hand. "I asked Ben if we could go over to his for an impromptu vacation and he said he's going to have the guest rooms ready in that ridiculously large home of his, he also said we could send Jamie and Remmiel to Halwright from there, I also arranged for your sister to come, I know she's still a sore subject with your father since he kept her a secret but you have to admit, she's a good mornach and so starting whenever she'll be taking your place." Kyra explained as Robin never lost his shock or adoration for the witch he loved.
"How did you, —my father agreed." He stuttered and Kyra chuckled. "I told him it was either he accepts this offer or I just take off with his grandchildren." He replied shocking Robin who ended up just chuckling. "Wow, I am impressed." The vampire mumbled in response leaning in to kiss Kyra who happily accepted. "Jamie, come on, you can try destroy the trees later, we need to pack!" Robin called out to their son who would be starting highschool, he was already showing signs of his regal power, his witch beauty and his brooding side earned from his dad but Remmiel was actually worse, the kid was everything but lacked social skills, he interact if he wanted but being surrounded by loving parents and doting uncles, he turned out alright.
The Solscend Islands
"Dad do I have to go to Halwright, I mean I'm doing so well here." Remmiel whined as he looked at all his packed stuff, a lot of bags he'd packed hoping he'd carried everything, his pops joked that he got the habit from his dad, he tended to overpack too. "Remmiel your brother is over there and he's been waiting for two years to have you there too, you loved it when we visited, what's changed?" Ben questioned his baby as he gestured him to sit down. "People at the school will expect me to be a certain way, like Avian, he carries the Syre, Shadows and Moone names, and everyone expected great things from him, that kind of pressure, he was able to get through it, because— well, he's Avian, he's just the type to rise to the top and shine." He explains and Ben sighs, so this was the reason, he knew Remmiel wasn't ashamed of who he was but the fact that he carried not only one but three powerful names in the mystic world, it made him nervous, anxious to the point he doubted he could live up to the standard set by Ben, Hayes or Tate.
"Honey, have we ever asked you to stand tall and proud above the rest, you're Remmiel Syre-Shadows-Moone, that's who you are, yes people at the school will want you to be great, like the rest of your family but you owe none of them that, you're going to Halwright to discover the world, to become who you want to be, to find your passion and soar with it, not to impress ungrateful little tweens who know nothing about you, my beautiful black rose, you're an exceptional young man, gifted with the strength and power of your family, you've made your fathers and I so proud of you that I know going to Halwright will change nothing, except make you a little bit tan." Ben summed up making Remmy laugh as he scooted over and hugged his dad, he could always put things into perspective unlike anyone he knew. "Don't worry, if anyone ever makes you feel like you need to be one thing conflicting with who you are, walk away and still be the person you know you are, because defiantly staying true to yourself makes everyone else realize that you wont change or budge to their demands, you're uniquely you and not even they, can change that, —I love you sweetie." Ben added as he placed a kiss on Remmy's head, he knew his baby boy would be alright, he was just like him in every possible way, plus Avian was already in Halwright, he'd watch over him and his terrible social skills, he inherited those from Hayes.
"How's my little plum." Hayes suddenly barged into the room lifting his son and twirling him around, it caused Remmy to laugh. "Pops stop, I'm not five anymore." Remmy protested as Tate walked into the and took him from Hayes. "Who said you need to be five for hugs and kisses." The shifter kissed Remmy all over causing him to laugh even harder. "Papa stop!" He protested but it fell on deaf ears. When Tate did stop Remmy was in the middle of what he called the love circle of parents. "What's this I hear about you doubting school." Hayes exclaimed and Remmy gasped looked at Ben. "Not me, I never snitch, he must've been looking through my eyes to know." Ben explained as the accusation vanished. "Second thoughts huh, when we went to Halwright it was a vastly different time, we didn't have choice, but what we did have there, once we were inside, was strength to face the world and change it, which you're going to do." Tate explained as he hugged his sweet silver haired boy, who really took after Ben with all his feisty shortness. "Thanks papa." Remmy replied as he looked at his parents, he would miss them but like dad said, he needed to discover.
"I think I'm ready." He announced and they all hugged him, more like rugby tackled him but he felt the love still. "Great, your uncles are coming to stay for a very long while and Jamie is going with you tomorrow." Ben announced and the apprehension, the last vestiges of it that Remmy felt vanished, he was going with Jamie, they'd have an awesome time. Ben chuckled knowing his little witch was now more excited. "Pops can I have some magic?" Remmy asked and Hayes moved closer and Remmy scoffed, he just wanted a kiss, but Remmy still leaned in too and kissed his pop's cheek siphoning magic in the process. Unlike what they previously predicted, Remmy wasn't a hybrid, he was fully witch, a siphon like his dad, with access to demon magic, neo magic, what made him special was the ritual his dad performed on him and Avian to give them a shifter edge like their papa Tate, so they each had a shifter animal they could draw on for strength. After a bit more affirmation Remmy was left alone and he jumped on the opportunity to call Jamie.
Halwright.
"Will they be okay." Ben sniffled as he stood near the statue of the Goddess with his husbands and best friends. "They will be." Tate assured as he rubbed Ben's back. "Pops, dad, papa!" Avian all but flew straight to them and tackled all three to the ground. "I missed you!" He excitedly cheered as Ben squeezed Avian just a little tighter, his big boy, he looked like a carbon copy of Hayes now, had his height too, he dwarfed his dad. "We missed you too kiddo, you never visit us." Tate replied as they got up and Ben snapped his fingers making them clean again. "I'm sorry, I just got very busy." Avian replied rubbing his neck. "It's okay Avian, we know, but we'd like you at the house more often, nomatter how busy you are." Hayes scolded as he hugged his first child. "I understand pops." He replied as the two relaxed in each other's arms, when they parted Avian turned to Kyra and Robin. "Hugs!" He cheered crushing both men in his hug. "Boy, you could bench press a truck now." Robin commented making them laugh. "No I couldn't uncle Robin." He protested as he finally turned to Remmy and Jamie who knew what he was about to do.
"No, Avian— bad Avian." Remmy argued but it was too late. "Come here my little firecrackers!" He cheered grabbing them both in his arms and giving them sloppy kisses. "Avian put us down!" Jamie yelled but the tall mystic didn't listen, rambled off about how they'd have so much fun and how Jamie would get taller soon and how their dorm was already done, all the big brotherly things he wanted to do with them. As Avian kept rambling he was walking to the school, waving at the girls and guys, other students and freshman looked at him and swooned, wondering who it was he was caring. "You still think they won't be alright?" Kyra teased Ben who shook his head in refusal. "They are going to be just fine." He replied with a smile, as he turned to check on his husbands who were engaged in what would be called two bulls making out heavily. "Whoa that is some heavy action, this is a school!" Kyra protested and Ben laughed walking with Robin.
"Since I'm pregnant and currently in the critical stage as they call it, I can't have sex, but the thing is they've tried holding out too because they'd leave me out, I assured them I was okay with it in the morning since I didn't want to hurt the baby, so now every time they kiss, it's like all the repressed times they could've done it, all burst to the surface, yeah, I try not to get involved, I just want food." Ben explained earning more laughter from Robin who had offered an arm to both him and Kyra as demon and shifter looked embarrassed at their little show in front of parents and children. To Ben this was normalcy, he'd have it no other way as he waved at his kids who would enjoy the world he'd fought to make a better place.
