                    In England.
After the plane landed, Olivia walked through the gate and immediately spotted her mother waiting.
"Mom!"
She hurried over and threw herself into her mother's arms.
After embracing her, Mrs. Gray looked her daughter up and down.
She hadn't realized until now that in the few months since they'd last seen each other, her daughter had lost a lot of weight.
Despite her carefully applied makeup, she looked exhausted.
"You've lost so much weight. My poor Olivia has been suffering over there." Mrs. Gray, tears in her eyes, led her daughter to a stretch Lincoln. "Now that you're home, I won't let you or my grandchild suffer anymore."
"You're the Gray family princess, the apple of your father's and my eye. This child in your belly will be the future heir to the Gray family! Olivia, remember, I brought you into this world to enjoy life, not to suffer! Benjamin Monroe is in the past—from now on, only good days are ahead!"
"I understand. Thank you, Mom."
Sitting in the car, Olivia looked out at the unfamiliar scenery.
A strange city, with only her mother feeling familiar.
She felt somewhat melancholy, but mostly relieved.
During her years with Benjamin, she had almost forgotten her identity as the daughter of a wealthy family.
Her mother was right—to avoid making Benjamin feel inferior, she had quietly suffered hardship all these years.
But since even that hadn't made Benjamin appreciate her, she might as well return to her life as a princess and enjoy herself!
On the other side of the world, Benjamin spent the entire day at the company but still couldn't retain the major clients.
He returned home exhausted, hoping to see Olivia back.
But no—the empty house contained only Stella.
Seeing him return, she rushed over. "Benjamin, you're finally back! I'm starving! Can you cook for me?"
Looking at the woman before him, Benjamin felt disoriented.
In the past, Olivia would always have dinner ready when he came home.
Even though she had her own job, no matter how busy she was, she would rush back to cook for him.
Originally, she had been a pampered young lady who never did housework, but since his stomach was sensitive, she specially learned to cook and prepared his meals every day.
He didn't know how to cook either, but to take care of the pregnant Stella, he had learned.
Ironically, he had never cooked a single meal for Olivia.
Especially, she was pregnant too.
His heart ached like it was being stabbed by needles. Looking at the cold stove, Benjamin pushed Stella away.
"Tomorrow we'll register the baby. After that's done, we'll get our divorce certificate."
Stella stood frozen, tears suddenly streaming down her face.
"Benjamin, you don't want us anymore, do you? You want us to leave, right? Fine, if you think we're a burden, we'll leave right now!"
With that, Stella picked up the baby from the carrier and made to leave.
Seeing this, Benjamin sighed and stopped her.
"No, that's not what I meant. It's just that we should register the baby as soon as possible. As for the divorce, we'll do it when there's time."
He was truly exhausted and didn't want to deal with Stella's drama.
Stella wiped her tears and continued in a sweet voice: "Okay. But I'm so hungry, what should I do?"
"I'll cook."
Benjamin turned and entered the kitchen. Looking at the utensils, he kept picturing Olivia bustling around in here.
But now, where was she?
After dinner, Stella tossed her dishes aside. "I'm going upstairs to shower. Honey, I'll be waiting for you."
At that term of endearment, Benjamin had a moment of déjà vu.
Olivia used to call him that too: "Honey, you're my husband now. You have to cherish me, love me, and protect me!"
"Honey, wake up, sleepyhead! It's our first wedding anniversary. Look what I've prepared for you!"
"Honey's home! Come quick, I've made all your favorite dishes! To celebrate our company making its first profit!"
"Honey, go rest. I'll clean up the dishes!"
"Honey, I'm pregnant with our baby! I love you!"
Olivia's ghost seemed to be right before him. He reached out to touch her, but grasped nothing.
Looking at the messy table, his thoughts returned to reality.
Before living with Stella, he had thought she was perfect in every way.
She knew how to be coquettish and how to please him, and she could give him the excitement he wanted in bed.
Apart from not knowing how to do housework, she seemed capable of everything.
As for Olivia, though she was attentive to his needs, preparing his clothes every day and even matching his tie the night before;
Though she knew his stomach hurt, and specially balanced his meals;
Somehow he had found such a life boring, thinking that sneaking around with Stella was more exciting.
Now he realized he was truly the world's biggest fool.
His eyes gradually moistened.
He missed Olivia terribly.
