Seeing Benjamin appear before her, Stella instinctively backed up a few steps, her face turning pale.
"W-when did you get here?"
Benjamin gripped her wrist tightly and demanded: "I'll ask you one more time—is the baby Jake's or not?"
"No!"
Now that things had come to this, Stella saw no reason to consider Benjamin's feelings anymore.
She wrenched her hand away and hid behind the man.
"The baby isn't Jake's. Jake and I never even slept together—how could it be his baby? That coward was too scared to touch me. What kind of man is that? He doesn't deserve to father my child!"
Benjamin stared at the woman before him in disbelief. He felt like he'd been thrown into an icy, bottomless ocean, his blood freezing in his veins.
"You lied to me? You've been lying to me all this time!"
He roared, flipping over the table in the VIP room.
Bottles and glasses shattered across the floor.
The Fat man angrily pushed him. "Hey, punk! You looking for trouble? I'm warning you—get out now! Don't ruin my good time, or I'll make you wish you were never born!"
"Get lost!"
Benjamin looked up, his piercing gaze like a sharp knife directed at the pair.
Though intimidated by Benjamin's glare, the Fat man didn't want to lose face in front of Stella. He summoned his courage and said, "I'm not going anywhere! What are you going to do about it?"
The words had barely left his mouth when Benjamin grabbed a beer bottle from the floor and smashed it against the man's forehead.
Instantly, blood gushed from the man's head.
Stella screamed in terror: "Ah! Mr. Thomas, are you okay? Benjamin, what are you doing? Have you gone crazy?"
"Come with me!"
Benjamin grabbed Stella's hand and tried to drag her away. Stella struggled, refusing to leave.
"Let go of me! Benjamin, you've lost your mind! Let me go! What right do you have to take me anywhere? I'm not going with you!"
"What right?" Benjamin turned, glaring at her fiercely. "Because I'm your husband! I'd like to see who dares stop me today!"
His words made Stella pause—they hadn't officially divorced yet.
If Benjamin forcibly took her away today, there wasn't much she could do about it.
After careful consideration, she reluctantly followed him back.
As soon as they reached the villa, Benjamin shoved Stella away.
She lost her balance and fell to the floor.
"What are you doing? You hurt me!"
"Mrs. Monroe, thank goodness you're back! The baby seems to have a fever," the nanny rushed downstairs when she heard them.
But Stella showed no reaction to the news about her child's fever.
"So what if she has a fever? It's not like she's going to die."
"What did you say?!"
Benjamin's emotions violently surged. He looked at the woman before him and let out a bitter laugh. "Stella, I never imagined you could be such a horrible person."
"Oh? You find me disgusting now? You didn't seem disgusted when you were holding me, kissing me, touching me, sleeping with me!"
Stella got up from the floor and wrapped her arms around Benjamin's neck, deliberately taunting him.
"You regret it now? Regret divorcing Olivia to be with me? Well, let me tell you—it's too late! Olivia won't forgive you or get back together with you! From the moment I texted her and she didn't even bother to reply, I knew she was completely done with you! You want to make amends? Want to remarry her? Impossible!"
"What else have you done behind my back?" Benjamin raised his hand in anger and violently grabbed the woman's throat.
"Are—are you insane? Let me go!"
Struggling to breathe, Stella handed him her phone.
"Everything you want to know is in there!"
