Changbin flipped to another page in the book, and Felix barely had a second to process the image before he broke down into a mixture of laughter and sobs.
"I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!" he cried, his voice cracking as he pushed the book away from his husband. "IT'S EATING ME ALIVE, BINNIE! I KEEP SEEING THEM IN FRONT OF ME, I KEEP SEEING THEIR BEAUTIFUL LOVE-IT'S SO UNFAIR! I CAN'T, BINNIE, I CAN'T!" His whole body shook as he clutched his chest, the grief clawing at him like it had been waiting to consume him all along.
Changbin, who had been holding everything in, finally shattered. His breath hitched, his shoulders trembling as he pulled Felix into his arms. And for the first time in so long, they let it all out-grieving together, mourning the love they had lost, the love that still lingered in every corner of their hearts.
"You look stupid," Minho laughed, watching Jisung spin around dramatically in a princess dress, the fabric swishing with every movement.
"Yeah, well, Felix wanted me to wear this, soooo..." Jisung smirked, winking at Minho in a playful way.
Minho clutched his chest, pretending to be struck. "Wow, that just did something to me, Princess."
Jisung chuckled, stepping closer before settling onto Minho's lap, his arms wrapping loosely around his neck. He leaned in, voice soft. "I love you so much."
Minho's hands instinctively found Jisung's waist, pulling him even closer as he gazed up at him, completely mesmerized. "I love you so much too," he whispered back.
When Jisung and Minho walked into the party, Felix spotted them instantly and bolted toward Jisung, practically vibrating with excitement.
"YOU ACTUALLY PUT IT ON!" Felix shrieked, eyes wide as he took in the ridiculous princess dress.
Jisung rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "YOU GAVE ME NO CHOICE!"
Felix burst into laughter, launching into a playful argument with Jisung, their voices filling the room as Changbin walked up beside Minho, chuckling. He leaned in slightly. "How did we end up with these two?" he muttered.
Minho, however, wasn't paying attention. His gaze was locked on Jisung, eyes soft, a quiet smile tugging at his lips. "I love him so much," he whispered, almost to himself.
Changbin looked up at him, his own smile turning warm. "I know you do," he murmured back.
Minho stood back, watching as Jisung and Felix argued over who was the prettier princess, striking over-the-top elegant poses in their dresses. Their voices were dramatic, their gestures exaggerated, and Minho couldn't help but chuckle.
His eyes stayed on Jisung, the way he lit up with every playful exchange, the way he owned every ridiculous pose like he was meant to be the star of the show. Minho loved him-God, he loved him so much. And he knew, without a doubt, that Jisung loved him too.
And that? That was Minho's true happiness.
Jisung felt strong arms wrap around him from behind, and he turned to see Minho gazing at him with that familiar, lovestruck look.
"Hi, my baby," Minho whispered, his voice soft and warm.
Jisung giggled, fully turning around in Minho's hold. "Well, hello, my precious boyfriend," he teased, looping his arms around Minho's neck, a wide smile stretching across his face.
Minho tilted his head, eyes scanning Jisung up and down before smirking. "You look stupid in that dress."
Jisung scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Do I?" he asked, feigning offense.
Minho nodded, his smirk turning into something softer. "Beautifully stupid." He leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Jisung's forehead.
But before they could melt any further into the moment, a chunk of bread smacked them both in the head.
"GET A ROOOOM!" Felix hollered from across the room, cackling.
Changbin, doubled over in laughter, clapped his hands.
Jisung groaned, rubbing his temple before flipping Felix off. "Shut up."
Felix turned to Changbin with a mischievous grin. "They're so dumb," he whispered, eyes flicking back to Minho and Jisung, who were still bickering playfully.
Changbin looked at his boyfriend for a moment before his gaze shifted back to their friends, a soft smile playing on his lips. "I think they're awfully cute," he whispered, pulling Felix into a side hug.
Felix smiled warmly, resting his head against Changbin's shoulder. "They are."
