Helping Lena - Chapter 61: Chapter 61

Anna's pov
It was finally Friday and the day that we go on vacation, to Olivia's cabin that her parents had gifted her.
We couldn't be more excited. Last night Lena was a hyper mess, Olivia decided to give Lena ice cream which caused her to run around the house almost the entire night.
I made Olivia run after her and play with her because it was her fault after I said no, Lena did the puppy face and she fell for it.
We only slept at 2am, after I had to threaten Lena with a timeout and her stuffy get taken away. She was crying the entire time I was breastfeeding her, which made me feel guilty.
"Wake up babe. We have to get going" I felt Olivia whisper in my ear as she kissed my cheek.
"Mhmm, morning" I grumbled out and turned, snuggling into her. She was warm.
"We have to get up and get a move on. We need to leave early or we will stuck in traffic. Traffic and a baby is not a good combination" Olivia softly chuckled as she scratched my head.
"What's the time?" I mumbled up, turning my face to look up at her.
"It's 6:30 now. If we leave, we will be there about 8:00. It's quite a long drive" Her soft voice was making me fall asleep again.
"I'm up, I'm up!" I laughed as I felt Liv tickling my neck.
"Good, let's go wake up the little monster" she gave me one last kiss before getting up.
We made our way softly to the nursery. We walked to the crib and saw Lena stirring while suckling on her paci. Her hair was messy and she had a diaper bulge, while she laid with her legs in a diamond shape. It was an adorable sight. We cooed as we watched her.
"She looks so cute and innocent, I don't want to wake her up" I whined softly.
"I know, me too" Liv pouted.
Lena's paci fell out of her mouth as she started rooting around, which I presume for my nipple, with a open mouth. She made suckling motions with furrowed eyebrows.
"Guess she waking up with one thing on her mind" Liv said, making us laugh softly.
Lena's mouth turned into a frown, as her bottom started wobbling before she started wailing, loudly.
"Oh no, it's okay baby" I gently picked her up from her crib and laid her over my shoulder.
I bounced her slightly as I walked over to the rocking chair. I laid her sideways and cradle her and lift up my top, revealing my breast.
I put my breast in her open mouth and squeezed some milk.
"There we go, baby" I cooed and wiped her tears away as Lena started suckling.
Lena open her eyes and stared up at me. Her hazel eyes shined with innocences and nothing. She woke up a little baby.
"She's really little. Newborn headspace" I smiled as I looked up at Olivia.
"Really. I love when she's so little" Liv smiled and sat next to me on the stool and stroke Lena's hair.
Lena made coos of happiness as she drank away. She was floppy in my arms making me hold her extra tight.
"How do you think this trip is going to go?" Liv asked looking at me worriedly.
"Honestly, like you said. Traffic and a baby is not a good combination" I sigh as I stared at Lena.
We hurriedly got dressed and put the bags in the car. We had to work fast, the moment Lena was out of our arms, she starts wailing, to the point were she turned red in the face.
"Oh goodness, this is so hard" I groaned as I hurriedly picked up Lena from the baby rocker.
"I will never judge people with crying babies again" Olivia said breathing heavily from all the running we had to do.
"We need to get going, we running late" I said as I bounced Lena, who was making cute little noises in my ear.
We made our way out of the house and into the car. I quickly buckled Lena into the carseat an put a bottle of breast pump milk in her mouth. I held the bottle as I sat in the back with her.
"Are you ready?" Liv asked as she turned around in her seat to us.
"Ready as I'll ever be" I gave a unsure smile and nod my head.
The first half an hour, the drive was smooth. I kept Lena entertained by giving her baby food and apple sauce. She was babbling and making spit bubbles.
The next half an hour, that's where everything took a turn for the worst. Lena decided to give us a massive surprise while being stuck in traffic.
She took a massive dump in her diaper and it made the whole car stink. She was giggling while slobbering all over her bib.
"Oh god" I gagged as I took her out of the carseat.
I took out the changing mat and laid it over the seat. I took her out and laid her down on the changing mat and unbutton her onesie.
"You messy girl. Giggling while giving mama a messy job" I tickled her stomach as Lena giggled.
I made a quick work of wiping her down and changing her into a new diaper. I pulled her onesie down but saw poop stains on it. I snapped my head to the carseat and saw it got on it too, making me groan.
"What's wrong?" Liv asked looking at me through the the rear view mirror.
"Lena's poop got all over her onesie and carseat . I didn't even pack an extra onesie in the diaper bag and all her clothes are in the trunk" I rub my temples as I felt a headache forming.
"Crap. Just wiped down the seat and put the changing mat in it and let she sat on that" Liv said as she started driving slowly to the front.
"Okay, but what about her clothes?" I said as I started cleaning everything up.
"Just leave her in her vests and diaper till we get to the cabin"

After that everything went smoothly, I put all her dirty clothes in a bag and kept playing with Lena. I gave her toys to play with, well I was showing it to her while she babbled and stare at it.
Lena finally fell asleep after another bottle. I was so thankful that I pumped beforehand.
"Go sleep babe, I'll wake you up when we get there"
"Thank you, you an angel" I smiled in gratitude and leaned forward and kissed her cheek.
I laid my head on the side of the carseat and held Lena's hand in mine. I watched her suckle on her paci and before I knew it, I was asleep.
I woke up with giggling and smacks to my face. I blinked tiredly and saw Lena staring at me as she smacked my face with her tiny hands.
"You think it's funny to smack mama, huh?" I smiled and nibbled on her fingers, making her giggle.
"You just mamas little baby, aren't you?" I cooed as I baby talked to Lena, who was eating up all the attention.
"Good nap?" Liv asked.
"Yeah, just a stiff neck but I slept good. Are we almost there?" I asked as I looked out the window and saw lots of trees surrounding us.
"Andddddddddddd.....we here" Liv said dramatically as she parked in front of the cabin.
My jaw open in amazement. This place always made my jaw drop because of the beauty of it. I remember the first time we came. Thinking about it made me blush.
"Anna, remember the first time we came out here?" Liv asked teasingly as she smirked.
"Stopppp" I blushed as I shove her shoulder.
"Think we should recreate it?"
"..... Liv, the baby is here. Stop teasing me" I shake my head of all the dirty thoughts. Her offer was quite hard to reject, it was tempting.
"I like teasing you babe" Olivia chuckled as she winked at me and got out of the car.
I tried to say something back but I felt Lena pull my hair.
"Sorry baby. Mama forgot about you" I cooed as I took Lena carefully out of her seat, making sure to keep her head.
Liv came around and opened the door for me and helped me out. She took me a from my arms and held her.
"Welcome to paradise, babe" Liv whispered in my ear as she held my waist.
"I can't wait for Lena to see this place. We going to have a crazy toddler running around, I'm so excited" I whispered as I laid my head in her shoulder.
We stood there and took in the beauty of the cabin and nature. I couldn't wait till Lena get to enjoy this place when she comes out of newborn headspace.
