Helping Lena - Chapter 70: Chapter 70

Anna's pov
Today Lena will be coming with me to work. Miss Willows had call some contractors to do renovations at the library, so Lena doesn't have work for a few days.
Hopefully, she will be on her best behaviour. And if you guys don't remember, I'm an accountant and Olivia is an architect.
I quietly walked into Lena's nursery. She was sleeping on her back with her pacifier bobbing in her mouth. Her hair was messy and looked crazy.
"Good morning, sweetheart" I whispered gently as I rubbed a sleeping Lena's tummy.
It was 6:30 in the morning, normally I wake up at 7:00 am but with getting both me and Lena done would take some time. Hopefully I could get us out the house at 7:30, because I start work at 8:45. And with morning traffic...
"S'eep" Lena whined around her pacifier, turning on her tummy, facing away from me.
"I thought you were going with mama to work today. We can spend the whole day together" I said softly.
"Bu' tiwed" Lena groan as she sluggishly sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"I know you are, baby. You can sleep in the car while I drive" I said removing her tiny fist from hurting her eyes.
"Okays" Lena mumbled sleepily, making grabby hands at me with close eyes making me chuckle.
"Let's get you dressed" I cooed.
I laid her on the changing table and unsnapped her onesie, making her slightly shiver. I removed the sticky tabs from her soiled diaper, taking a warm wipe and gently wiped her down.
I opened the drawer and took out a baggy sweater and a matching sweatpants. It was purple with little butterflies littering it. It was perfect to keep her warm and hide her diaper.
I lift up her legs and slid a new diaper under her bum. I lowered her legs and sprinkled some baby powder on her private parts and rubbed it in. I pulled the front part against her tummy and stick the tabs, running my fingers through the opening so she doesn't have any leaking.
I took off her onesie completely and put a white bodysuit on her and snapped it close. After that I dressed her in her outfit for the day.
"Mama boobie" Lena groaned spitting out her paci as she finally opened her eyes.
"Of course, sweetheart. But first, lets go brush our teeth and have some breakfast" I cooed and lift her off the changing table.
I sat her on my hip as she laid her head on my shoulder. I walked in the bathroom and sat her down at the counter.
"Do you want to sing the brushing teeth song?" I asked, trying to sound enthusiastic to wake her more up.
"Wes mama!" Lena did a small cheered.
"Awesome!" I laughed and handed her toothbrush to her, already adding the toothpaste.
We were giggling as we brushed our teeth and made silly faces.
"And we done" I exclaimed as we smiled in the mirror, making Lena do a cheer.
"Let's go greet mommy and then we will be on our way. We can eat at the office" I said walking down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Good morning my love and my little bumblebee" Liv said happily as she dropped the spatula and took Lena out of my arms.
"Mor'ings mommy" Lena squealed hugging Olivia tightly as Liv laid kisses on her face.
"Are you excited to go with mama to her office?" Liv asked.
"So 'cited! I took alls my toys wif and and and pways wif mama. Is gonna be so muc' fun!" Lena babbled excitedly with each word.
"You making me jealous" Olivia said pretending to be sad and pouted.
"Is okays mommy, I has fun for your part" Lena said sweetly, kissing Liv's lips then patting her cheek.
I don't know how, but we ended up running late. I forgot to pack Lena's essentials and Lena didn't know what toys to put in her backpack.
I looked through the rear view mirror and saw Lena giggling, watching Shrek on her iPad. I drove into the underground parking lot and parked the car.
"Are you ready baby?" I asked turning to Lena.
"Wes mama" Lena smiled, locking her iPad.
I got out of the car and went over to the back door and opened it. I unbuckled Lena from her car seat and sat her down on her feet. I quickly put everything that she took out back in the backpack.
"Let's go" I smiled, taking Lena's hand and walked to the elevator.
Lena had a tight grip on my hand as she hid into my sides, only peeking out a little. I pulled her into me as the elevator went up.
"Scawed mama" Lena whimpered, making grabby hands to be picked up.
I knew there were cameras in the elevator but I still picked her up and gently swayed her. If she needed comforting then I would definitely give it to her.
"It's okay baby, I promise I'll keep you safe" I kissed her head and put her back down as the elevator opened.
I walked out the elevator and greeted some of my coworkers after scanning my company card. I walked quickly feeling Lena stiffen. I knew she was getting overwhelmed by all the people.
I was so glad I choose the last office down the passageway. Less noise and not interrupting of my coworkers.
I took my key out of my bag and unlocked the door. I gently led Lena in and close the door behind me before locking it.
"Wowwies mama!" Lena gasped, her doe eyes inspecting everything.
"Do you like it?" I chuckled, walking the sofa in my office and put our bags down.
"So 'ig ans pwetty, I Luvs it! Lena squealed as she ran to the big windows putting her hands on the glass.
I walked around to my desk and sat down, watching my baby touch every little thing she could get her hands on. It was cute to watch her.
I was quite proud how Olivia and I decorated my office. The only thing I regret now is having white furniture in my office
"I pways wif my toys now" Lena said finally done touching things.
"Yes baby, but you have to be quiet while mama works, okay?" I stood up and took out her toys out of the backpack and put it down on the mat.
"Mmhm" Lena hummed, plopping down on her bum and began playing.
I was really struggling to work, I couldn't keep my eyes off Lena. She was just to adorable as she babbled to her toys.
Her shoes were long gone and her sweater, you could see her diaper bulge. Her long hair was laying loosing down her back as she kept blowing it out of her face.
"Mama?" Lena said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes sweetheart?" I said.
"You fin'sh?" Lena titled her head sideways, pointing to my laptop, dropping her crayon.
When did she take out her colour book?
"Not real... you know what, yes mama is done for now. Can I play with you?" I said closing my laptop. What's the use if I can't concentrate.
"Come come" Lena said hurriedly, waving me over.
"I'm coming" I laughed as I walked over to her.
I kicked my heels off and crossed my legs while sitting down. It was quite difficult to sit down because I had a light blue blouse on and a black tight shirt that reached my knee.
"So what are we doing?" I said and clapped my hands together.
"The baby is hungwy ans she wan' milky. Mama mus' give milky ans I gives to my baby" Lena said seriously.
"See, nows mama do" She pulled her the front of her body suit down and put her doll on her tiny boob.
"Okay" I chuckled and pretended to give the doll milk over my blouse. Lena smiled excitedly as she rocked her doll.
"'ock the baby ans 'ing. Baby mus' s'eep" Lena said showing me what she's doing.
"Like this?" I asked as I started humming and rocking the doll side to side. Lena nod her head, not taking her eyes off me.
I watched my little baby getting jealous. Her eyebrows furrowed as she started pouting, glaring at the doll in my hands. She suddenly throws her doll on the floor and turns her back to me, crossing her arms.
"Sweetheart, are you okay?" I snorted trying not to laugh.
I quietly ran to the sofa and pulled out my phone. I sat back down and unlocked, going to the camera and pressed video to record. Olivia needed to see this.
"Baby, are you okay?" I got no response as Lena huffed.
"Are you not going to talk to mama, now? What did I do?"
"Mama 'ike baby now" Lena said angrily.
"But you said I should give the baby milky and make the baby sleep" I was smiling so hard right now.
"Bu' bu' is not fai'" Lena groan as she turned her head to glare at me.
"I mama baby not she" Lena said turning toward me and kicked it away from.
"But she's my baby too, I give her milky like I give to her" I pouted at her
"Nos! My miwky, nos give the baby. Nos wanna sha'e mama ans mommy" Lena said loudly as her bottom lip started quivering.
Tears rolled down Lena's face as she softly started crying, making grabby hands at me. I aww and stop the video, putting my phone down on the mat.
"Come to mama, baby" I cooed, holding my arms out as Lena crawled to me, hiccuping.
"You my baby and mama and mommy's baby. No will ever take your place" I said softly and pulled her into my lap and rocked her.
"On'y I" Lena said vulnerably as she sniffled, having a tight grip on my blouse. She stared up at me with sad eyes.
"Only you and no one else" I wiped her tears away and laid three kisses on her pouter lips.
"Luv mama" Lena said softly, rubbing her face in my breast.
"Love you too, sweetheart. Always and forever"
I was back at my desk working. I finally decided to actually get work done this time right on time that it was my lunch break.
Lena and I had snacks while I work. She already had her apple juice in her sippy and some cheese puffs and goldfish. I looked up and saw Lena licking her whole hand. Crumbs laid on her cheeks and nose and her hands are dirty. Thankfully she wasn't close to the sofa.
"Fin'sh mama" Lena gave me a big smile and put her hands in the air as she stood up.
"Do you want some milky?" I asked, feeling the hardness and uncomfortableness in it.
Lena didn't breastfeed this morning and I was at the verge of exploding. I could feel milk leak on my breast pads and it wasn't comfortable. This was why I didn't like Lena working because I have to pump at work and store it on my mini fridge here in my office. Plus pumping is so uncomfortable.
"Miwky!" Lena squealed as she ran straight to me.
But unfortunately her foot got stuck on the carpet and she went falling. She lift her hands to save herself from the impact as she grabbed onto the sofa. But it wasn't enough to stop her head banging against the arm of the sofa.
My eyes widen as I immediately ran to her. I lift her up and she immediately started crying. That hit must have hurt.
"Shh, it's okay baby" I walked over to my chair and laid her on my chest with her legs on either side of mine.
"O-owwie"
"I know baby, I know it's owwie" I said sadly. I pulled her face from my chest to get a look at her face and saw a red mark on her forehead.
I unbuttoned my blouse and unclipped one side only and pulled out my right breast. I pulled Lena's head close as she opened her mouth and latched on.
I got up with her and walked over to the mini fridge and pulled out a ice pack and then to the sofa for a blanket from the bag. I looked at the sofa and saw Lena's cheesy handprints on making me shake my head.
All while doing this with one hand. My other hand was holding Lena up as she nurse, loudly. She was breathing heavily, basically burying herself in my breast.
"Let's call mommy" I cooed and sat down on the sofa.
I laid the blanket over her and covered her head as I put the ice pack on her bruise. She whimpered at the feeling.
"Hello babe" I said after video calling Olivia who picked up after the first ring.
"Hi love, how are my girls doing?" Liv smiled making me feel butterflies. Her hair framed her face, making her blue eyes stand out.
"Our baby fell and hurt her head" I pouted as Lena nod her head under the blanket.
"My poor bumblebee, let me see her" she cooed waiting on me to show Lena.
"Here she is. She's nursing right now" I pulled the blanket back and uncovered Lena's face. Her eyes were red and teary as soon as she saw Olivia.
"Hi honey, mama told me you got a owie" Liv said in soft.
"Mowwmy 'ome"
"I can't honey, I'm sorry. Mommy is still working but soon I'll see you at home" Liv said sadly, giving Lena a sad smile.
Lena wasn't happy about that as she turned her face away from the camera. I felt her body begin shuddering. She was crying for Olivia.
"She's crying for you"
"Bumblebee don't cry. You hurting mommy here, I'll see you at home, it's not long till I get to see you" Olivia said trying to sound cheerful but I could her the hurt in her voice and her eyes were shining.
It's rarely when Lena cries for Olivia. She cries mostly for me because I give her the comfort and babying and of course her 'miwky'. While Olivia was more playful.
"Anna.."Liv trailed off, uncertainly. She wanted to come to us.
"Liv it's okay, she tired and hurt. She just needs a nap and some cuddles"
"Okay I'll see you later. I love you bumblebee. I have to go now, bye Anna" she said blowing us a kiss.
"Bye babe. Lena can you say bye to mommy?"I asked as I pointed the camera to Lena's face who was still hiding while nursing. Lena shook her head no.
"Honey.." Olivia said hesitantly. There was a debate going on in her head.
"Go Olivia. We'll see you at home" I gave her a smile and ended the call. She would have came if I stayed on the phone longer.
I sigh as I relax to the back, holding Lena close while she nurse. After a while she groan, indicating my milk was up.
"Just hold on, sweetheart" I quickly unlatched Lena and moved her to the other side and let her latch on.
I patted her bum and hummed a lullaby as I felt her suckles slow down as she became heavy in my arms.
