Olivia's pov
"Mommy, whewe we going?" Lena asked confusedly.
"It's a surprise, bumblebee" I said making magic fingers at her, making her giggle adorably.
"Okays" Lena skipped away, over to the kitchen, probably going to bother Anna for some 'miwky'.
I doubled checked our passports and luggage to make sure we had everything and moved it to the front door.
"Sweetheart wait, mama is quickly busy" I heard Anna say in the kitchen after a while, making me burst into laughter.
"Pease mama" I heard Lena said, faking her sad voice.
After that I just heard a sigh, probably from Anna. I stood up from the sofa and walked into the kitchen. As I walked in the kitchen, Anna looked over to me with a pleading look.
"What's wrong?" I mouthed. I didn't see Lena anywhere.
"Your daughter" she mouthed and turned a bit to me, making Lena's legs come in view.
The half of Lena's upper body was covered by Anna's sweater while her legs were only showing. I choked back my laughter, realising Lena had pushed her head under Anna's sweater and started nursing while standing.
"Lena!" I called out, making Lena's head move in the direction of my voice.
I could see the outline of her face on the sweater as she looked at me. God, this child was something else.
"Wes?" Lena mumbled, clearly still breastfeeding.
"Are you bothering mama?" I asked sternly.
I waited for a reply but only got a shake of a head indicating no. I could see Lena's head turn away from me as she moved it to Anna's other breast and started nursing that side.
"I tried" I mouthed to Anna making her glare at me.
She wasn't upset because she wouldn't be massaging Lena's head over her sweater. I guess she was upset because she was busy throwing food away that would expire over the weekend. We were turning off all electrical suppliants.
It kind of suck but we couldn't take it with us and we didn't have enough time to drop it off at the shelter. We needed to leave soon.
Anna's pov
I sigh angrily at the kitchen counter as I threw food away in the dustbin. I didn't like wasting perfectly good food but it had to be done.
I heard little footsteps skip towards the kitchen making me smile. I knew that was my little baby. I looked up and saw Lena skipping to me with a big smile on her face.
But the thing was, her attention was not on me it was solely focused on my breast. I rolled my eyes playfully realised she was just going to use me for her 'miwky'.
"Hi baby" I cooed as I brushed her hair out of her face.
"Hewwo mama" Lena beamed as she hugged me while looking up at me with a shy smile.
"What can mama do for you?" I cooed, rubbing her pink cheeks. She was just to cute and precious for my life!
"My miwky pease" she said cutely, giving me the puppy dog eyes.
"I'm quickly busy, but the moment I'm done, I'll give you milky" I leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"Nooooooos" Lena dragged out, upset.
"I know baby" I pouted back at her as she pouted at me, making me leave a kiss on her lips.
"Miwky pease" Lena said as her voice cracked, sneaking her hands up my sweater, trying to unclasped my nursing bra.
"Do you want your bottle in the meantime?"
"No!" Lena said angrily as she glared at me, making me chuckle.
I don't know why I even bother asking her if she wants her bottle. She hates it. She prefers it right from the source.
"Sweetheart wait, mama's quickly busy" I said a bit loud, but it all fell deaf to Lena's ears.
"Pease mama" Lena said sadly making my heart throb.
I pouted as she stared at me with heartbroken eyes. I couldn't let my baby go without her milky.
Before I could say anything, Lena smiled and pushed her head under my sweater and pulled my boob from my bra and immediately latched on. She groaned as she wiggled her little body happily.
I opened the front of my sweater and saw she was staring up at me with shining eyes.
"So mischievous" I snickered, leaving a kiss on her forehead and went back to sorting out the food, sighing.
Soon it was time for us to leave. Our fight was at 9:30 and right now it was 8:40. I just hoped we would make it in time.
"Everyone ready?" Olivia asked as we walked out of the house.
"Yes" Lena and I said together.
Lena had came out of headspace when she realised it was time to go. Although I had reassured her it was okay for her to be little, but she didn't want to worry us of 'little her' that would probably wonder off if we weren't looking.
"Alright, let's go" Olivia declared as she locked up the house and walked to the garage.
Lena and I were in the sidewalk, waiting on Olivia to reverse and stop in front of us.
"Are you excited Lena?" I asked her.
"Yes..." before she could continue, her phone went off indicated a call came through.
"Sorry, it's my mom" she mumbled and walked away to answer the call.
I watched her as she spoke on the phone, by her expression I could tell it wasn't going good. Before I could walk over to her, Olivia pulled up in front of me.
"Everything okay?" She asked leaning over the passenger side and looking out the open window at me.
"I don't know. Lena is quickly on a call with her mom" I said worriedly. Lena's face didn't look good at all.
"I'm sure it will be okay" Olivia said unsure.
I saw Lena look down and wipe her eyes. I frowned as my heart started pounding. She walked over to me with her head down and she had a tight grip on her phone to the point her knuckles turned white.
"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" I asked worriedly as I took her face in my hands.
"M-my m-my"she stuttered, looking at the verge of a breakdown.
"Okay, sweetheart, I need you to copy my breathing okay...that's it" I instructed Lena as she took deep breaths in and out.
After seeing her breathing was okay, I pulled her into me and hugged her tightly, pressing little kisses on her head. Lena wrapped her arms tightly around me to the point it kind of hurt.
"Hey, what's going on?" Olivia asked as she got out of the car and walked over to us.
"I don't know, I just know that after she got off the phone she became like this" I whispered softly.
"Can you tell us what is wrong Lena?" Olivia asked gently as she pulled Lena's face from my chest and made her look up at us.
Her face broke my heart. Her bottom lip trembled while her nose and eyes were red from crying.
"My dad, he-he had a h-heart attack last night" Lena mumbled as fresh tears rolled down her face.
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry" I said solemnly.
"I- I need to go m-my mom and dad needs me"Lena said frantically.
"Of course, we'll drive you, just tell us which hospital they at" Olivia said as she escort Lena and me to the back and then got into the drivers seat.
"St Joseph hospital" Lena said sounding dull. I frowned worriedly and pulled Lena into me.
My baby needs me more then ever, there was no way I could go on a vacation when Lena is this distraught.
We finally came to the hospital and immediately got out but before we could enter, Lena stopped in her tracks and turned to face Olivia and I.
"Thank you for driving, but I'll be okay from here. You guys might miss your flight" Lena said emotionless.
"Sweetheart, do you really think that we would go in a vacation when you are this hurt? I don't care about a vacation, I care about you" i said sternly, pulling her face to look at me.
"Please, just please for me. I really want you to enjoy your birthday weekend" Lena said pleadingly, finally showing emotions.
"No Lena, that's absurd!" Olivia said flabbergasted.
"Please, just leave. I'll be fine on my own, I can take care of myself, I'm not a little kid that you guys have to watch 24/7, okay!" Lena snapped, seeming frustrated, running her hands through her hair.
