Anna's pov
I laid on the reclining seat with Lena laying on top of me. Olivia was in the kitchen making us lunch.
Lena was still in her newborn headspace. She was still extremely floppy and uncoordinated and Olivia and I loved every second of it.
"Is she done nursing?" Olivia called out from the kitchen.
"Just about done" I said back as Lena suckled a bit more before she unlatched.
She had complete emptied both of my breast. Lena has been none stop breastfeeding for the pass two days. It become very difficult to feed her baby feed, she refuses by letting the food slid out of her mouth.
"Hi mamas baby" I coo as Lena laid with her chin on my chest, trying to keep her head up and gave me a tiny smile.
I chuckled as she tried holding her head up but it kept flopping down on my chest. I held my hand behind her head to keep her steady and not hurt her neck.
I couldn't help but stare at her with love and admiration. From her beautiful big hazel eyes to her now chubby round rosy cheeks and full pink lips. My baby had gain some weight, after all my milk was providing over enough nutrients for her.
She is just the cutest little girl.
"Let's burp you" I said softly as I laid a kiss on her lips.
"I'll do it" Olivia said with a massive grin on her face as she stared at us with complete love.
"Thank you, babe" I smiled as I took my lunch from her hands as she picked Lena up from my chest.
I was cheesing really hard as I ate my chicken sandwich as I watched Olivia burp a fussy Lena.
"There we go" Olivia whispered as Lena let out a small burp.
She lift Lena from her shoulder and held Lena in the air. She was making faces at Lena who let out the cutest sounds, it just made me want to steal her back from Olivia.
"I don't think she's done burping, Liv" I said with a smirk as I clean my hands with a napkin.
"Huh?" Liv said as she turned to look at me.
"Burp her some more, she drained both my breast and she's smiling a bit to hard " I pointed at Lena's smiling face.
"You are just jealous, Lena loves her mommy and her mommy is funny. Isn't that right, bumble-"
I watched in slowmo as Lena burped milk all over her face and on her clothes. Olivia stood with half closed eyes and her mouth open in shock.
I couldn't help but to laugh until my stomach started hurting even Lena had let out a few tiny giggles. Tears were rolling down my face at this point as I took a picture of her. I couldn't stop laughing at the look on her face.
I warned her.
"Anna help!" Olivia screeched as the milk started dripping down her face.
"Hate to break it to you, but I told you so" I chuckled as I took Lena from her arms and handed her a towel.
I walked back to the reclining seat and sat back down. I took out the burp cloth to clean Lena's mouth, luckily she had a bib on so she didn't dirty her crawler.
"Good job letting all that nasty out" I chuckled/cooed, wiping Lena's mouth with what residue was left.
"I smell like milk now, not cool bumblebee" Olivia whined as she stomped upstairs like a petulant child.
"You just love to give your mommy a run for her money" I giggled at Lena's innocent looking face.
"Hi! This is a nice surprise!" I smiled happily at Miranda and David as I opened the door.
"Hi! Sorry for popping up, but we were in the area and David missed his little pumpkin. We couldn't resist a visit" Miranda said as she pulled me into a hug.
"It's no problem, you can visit anytime" I chuckled.
"Hi, Anna. Where's Lena?" David asked as his muscular arms wrapped around me as he gave me a hug while his eyes roamed around looking for her.
"Come inside, she's sleeping but it's time to wake her up anyway" I said as I ushered them inside and closed the door.
Olivia walked in with Lena in a baby sling just in time as Miranda and David took a seat on the sofa.
"Hello!"Olivia greeted with a smile.
"Hi, we just came for a visit" Miranda beamed as she stood up and walked over to Olivia.
"That's no problem, would you guys like to stay for dinner?" Olivia asked as she took Lena carefully out of the sling.
"Sure, I'm starving" David said just as his stomach grumble, making us all laugh.
Lena yawn as she finally woke up from her nap while she suckled on her pacifier, her lips smacking around her pacifier.
Miranda smiled brightly as she took Lena from Olivia and laid kisses on Lena's chubby cheeks.
"Just be careful with her, she's in newborn headspace" I said, hurriedly as Lena's head flopped to the back.
"Oh, goodness" Miranda said in shock as she quickly held Lena's head and sat down.
Lena finally adjusted her surrounding and did the cutest little stretch. When she saw who was holding her her nose scrunch looking like she was about to cry.
"There's need for tears, sweetheart" I said quickly as I sat down next to Miranda. Lena looked over at me did a little smile.
I looked at Miranda and saw her face fell in sadness. Probably upset that her daughter was going to cry in her arms.
"Hey, it's normal Miranda. Sometimes little forget or don't understand people around them. She'll warm up to you in no time" I said reassuringly as I rubbed her shoulder.
Just as I said that Lena let out the loudest squeal while making baby movements at Miranda with a smile on her face.
"See!" I laughed as Miranda started beaming and making baby cooing noises at Lena.
Lena was eating up all the attention that she was getting from her Mom and Dad. We sat and chatted for a while, while Olivia was fixing dinner.
"Dinner's ready" Liv said as she came to get us.
We all walked to the kitchen and took our places. David and Miranda sat opposite Olivia and I. Lena was still in her moms arms. I guess Olivia saw my longing to hold Lena as she squeezed my thigh under the table.
"It's okay, my love" she whispered in my ear and laid a loving kiss on my lips.
"Thank you, Liv. I love you" I smiled gratefully at her and kissed her back.
Olivia always know what to do and what to say, to make me feel better and for that my love for her increases every single day. Everyday I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her.
"I love you too" she said and pecked my cheek as we both stood up and started plating everyone's food.
Dinner was a lovely affair. It was wonderful getting to know Miranda and David better. Lena was sitting on her dads lap as he ate, just relaxing and suckling on her pacifier without a care in the world.
"Hi, sweetheart. Do you want some yummy food" I said softly at Lena as she finally put her attention on me.
David moved closer to me as I took some baby food out. I tried to put some in her mouth but she pushed it back out with her tongue. We laughed as she made a disgusted face but stop as soon as she let out a choked sound.
"Quick David!" Miranda said in panic. All of us were in a panic.
David was quick with springing into action. He sat up straight and laid Lena's head on his palm and started patting her back. Lena let out a few coughs and baby food before she took some deep breaths and started wailing.
"Oh god" I let out a sob as I pulled her from her dads arms and into mine.
I stood up and walked up and down with her as I calmed her down. Finally getting her to calm down, I walked to the living room and sat down on the sofa and cross my legs under me and cradled her. Comfortable, I checked her over to make sure she was 100% okay.
"Oh sweetheart, you gave mama a fright" I whispered as I wiped mine and her tears away.
Lena softly whimpered while suckling on her closed fist. I unbuttoned my top and took my breast out. I took her fist from her mouth and guide her head to my nipple. Lena opened her mouth and gently latched on and start suckling.
I felt calmness wash over Lena and I as I held her close while staring down at her. I loved watching her breastfeed, knowing I provide nutrients for her and give her comfort.
"Is she okay?" I heard Olivia's voice asked as she made her way over to us.
"Yeah" I smiled at her and took her hand in mine.
Olivia covered us with a blanket as we heard David and Miranda made there way over to us.
"Is she okay?" David asked in worry.
"Yes, she's okay" I blushed as I realised you could hear Lena's suckling very clear.
"I don't think you should feed her anymore baby food. Babies have bad gag reflexes so I think you should stick with breastfeeding her" Miranda said as she walked over and peeked down the blanket.
"Thank you" I said gratefully for the advice, still blushing.
"Anyway, we'll be on our way. Thank you for dinner, it was wonderful" David said.
"Thank you for the visit, you guys should come more often" Liv said with a smile.
"We'll keep that in mind. Goodnight girls" Miranda said as she leaned down and kissed Lena's cheek and then mine.
We exchange pleasantries as Olivia walked them out the door.
"That was lovely" Liv said as she took her place back beside me.
"It was" I grin as I laid back into her hold with Olivia circling her arms around us.
We watched Lena as she suckled away and her eyes started dropping. To say it was a wonderful day.
