                    Luis
Devyn is laying face down on her stomach, sunbathing, and I'm staring at her ass. 'Luis, that's not very gentlemanly—' yeah, well, you have Devyn Young's ass in your face and try to look away.
We've been dating for a week, and every day I wake up and think this is just a sick joke and she never appeared in my house at that pre-season party.
"Luis," Dev mumbles from inside the cave she's created with her folded arms.
"Yes, my love?" I avert my eyes back to the book in my hands. She's making me read the book I found her with the first time I went to her house.
"Are you staring at my ass?"
"I would never do that," I say flatly. "Unless you asked me too."
She hums and turns her face out of its cave, smiling up at me. "Such a gentleman."
I nod at her and smile too, satisfied.
When Devyn rolls onto her back and shields her eyes from the sun, I think I love her. Again. I mean, it's not a shock, since I never wanted to stop loving her, and she's somehow even more that I remembered. She's everything.
"Luis," her voice pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Devyn," I look into her eyes.
"You were staring," she tells me.
"I can't help it," I sigh, defeated. "I'm sorry."
Her lips tilt up in a smirk. "Don't be sorry."
It's all the reassurance I need to climb on top of her on her sun lounger, straddling her thighs. She squints up at me.
"I can't get a moment to myself when you're around," she says, before pulling her lower lip between her teeth.
"No you can't," I run my hands along the sides of her body. "I need you, all the time. Forever."
I don't really think about the words coming out of my mouth, not until Devyn tenses beneath me, her face blank as she searches my face. I pray to God that she finds whatever she's looking for.
Then she says, "You're so full of it, Pierce." But there's something soft in her eye that makes a grin spread across my face.
I get off her and scoop her up into my arms.
"Luis don't you dare," Devyn wraps her arms around my shoulders as I carry her over to our pool.
"Don't what, Dev?" I hold her at the edge as she grips on to me, pressing her neck into my face.
"I swear you're coming in with me."
"Don't threaten me with a good time," I plant a kiss on her temple.
And, I jump into the pool with her in my arms.
I let go of her so she can swim back up to the surface, but she keeps her hold on me and wraps her legs around my waist so then I swim the both of us up.
"I hate you, Luis Pierce," she says with a massive grin on her face as she pushes back the hair plastered to her face.
"I know you love me, Banks."
And then I kiss her and she tastes like chlorine and strawberry lemonade and every moment I've missed, every dream I didn't know I still had.
