The shrill ring of my phone shattered the moment. Here I was—a married woman—yet tangled in the sheets with my boss, betraying my husband with every breath.
I jerked my legs back, the buzzing toy slipping free with a wet, obscene sound. The sudden emptiness left me trembling.
"Perfect timing," Alexander muttered, setting his whiskey glass down with a sharp clink, his glare fixed on my phone.
I scrambled off the bed, naked and frantic, snatching my phone from the desk. The screen flashed—Ethan Lowell. My husband.
Ethan had been overseas for two months. We only ever texted. Never calls. For him to ring me this late—something was wrong.
My pulse spiked as I turned toward Alexander, only to find him stalking closer, the toy still humming in his grip.
"Sir, I—I need to take this downstairs," I choked out, my voice thin with panic.
I tried to bolt, but his arm hooked around my waist, yanking me back. His free hand groped my breast, rough and possessive.
"Answer it here," he murmured against my ear, his tongue tracing the shell before his teeth nipped.
I swallowed hard, thumb hovering over the call button. My stomach twisted.
"Victoria?" Ethan's voice crackled through the line, tense. "Why didn't you pick up?"
I shot Alexander a desperate look. He smirked, eyes glinting with cruel amusement.
"I was working late," I lied, breath hitching as Alexander's fingers trailed lower. "Left my phone in another room."
"You had me worried."
"Everything's fine," I forced out, just as Alexander pressed the toy against me.
Already slick, it slid in with obscene ease, burying deep.
A sharp gasp tore from my lips.
"Victoria?" Ethan's voice sharpened. "What was that?"
I clawed at Alexander's wrist, but he overpowered me effortlessly, thrusting the toy in ruthless strokes.
My vision blurred. Not only was I cheating—I was doing it while talking to him.
I should've fought harder. But my body arched, greedy, betraying me all over again.
"Ethan—" My voice cracked around a moan. "Why—why did you call?"
"Miss me? I'm flying back in two days."
"Y-yes, of course." Guilt coiled hot in my gut. I should have been thrilled.
"You sound strange. Are you sick?"
I bit back a whimper, thighs shaking. "Just a cold. I'll—ah—call you later. Still swamped."
I hung up before he could reply. Alexander tossed my phone onto the bed, grinning.
"Fun, wasn't it?"
Shame burned through me. I couldn't meet his eyes.
He gripped my chin, forcing my gaze up. His thumb brushed my lower lip.
"Calling me a rat, hmm?" His voice dropped, dark with promise. "Don't you think you deserve punishment for that?"
"Sir..." My whisper trembled—half fear, half something far more dangerous.
