That night Jimin couldn't sleep, all he could think about was how he should take his revenge on Yoongi. He spent his night twisting and turning in his bed. His browser history filled with searches like 'how to make your ex's life hell ?' or 'how to take the best revenge?'.
Jimin saw many ways but nothing that would bring soothness to his heart.
He woke up the next day with dark circles adorning his eyes and still no plan in sight.
He even ate his breakfast half heartedly. His eyes fixed on his phone screen when he got a text message. His eyes lit up with the message, he finally got an amazing idea.
" Come in."
Jimin replies to the knocks on his door, his gaze glued on the papers on his desk that he was deeply examining. His stiff composure changed into a relaxed one when he saw the person standing in front of him.
" Ah, you're finally here."
He got up from his chair, putting his big round glasses on the desk.
" What's with that sulky face? "
Jimin laughed at the way Taehyung's lips were sealed in a pout, eyes intentionally downwards to look as sad as possible.
" You bought a company, started working and I didn't even hear a single word from you?! "
One could hear the betrayal he experienced in Taehyung's voice.
" Well, if you had time to reply back to my texts instead of dancing in Paris's club then maybe I would have told you."
Taehyung swallowed all his complaints at that, rubbing his neck nervously. Well, he admit to that claim.
" Uh the cell signal is weak in Paris."
Jimin rolls his eyes at that, what a lame excuse his best friend is giving him.
" Yeah, yeah I totally believe you."
" Now care to explain why you did all this? And that too this suddenly?"
Taehyung changed the topic not wanting to hear Jimin scold him.
" Didn't you see him out there? "
Jimin walks towards the door.
" See him? Who? "
Taehyung was confused by that, was he supposed to see someone? Did Jimin set him up on a blind date by any chance ?
" Min Yoongi."
Jimin replies in a hushed tone, knowing well that other employees were just working outside his office and could hear them. But clearly Taehyung didn't think about that.
" Oh Min yoo- WHAT? MIN FUCKING YOONGI? HERE?! " He let out the most inhumane scream. His voice so loud that Jimin's sure even the people outside the building would have heard him.
" TAE! Shhh! " He covers Taehyung's mouth with his hand, waiting till he's completely calm to take his hand off.
" You mean to tell me, MIN YOONGI is here? In YOUR company? And YOU have no problem with that???"
His voice was now like a whisper shout but the panic and shock was still there like before. It wasn't Taehyung's fault anyone would be shocked by Jimin's bipolar behavior.
" Technically it was his company, I bought it from him."
He makes it sounds like it's no big deal. And by now Taehyung has officially lost all his brain cells.
" YOU! Who the fuck are you ? What did you do to my JIMIN? " He shakes Jimin like trying to bring the spirit that possessed him out of his body.
" Stop being dramatic."
Jimin gets himself out of Taehyung's hold, dusting his shirt that Taehyung crumbled because of his strong hold.
" The Jimin I knew would rather walk around the city naked than be near Yoongi."
Jimin rolls his eyes at the remak.
" Now, you're exaggerating."
Surely, he hates Yoongi, but his reputation is more important than that.
" I still can't believe what's all this."
He took a seat on the couch nearby, it was all too much and he was afraid that he might faint.
" In baby words, I bought this company from him to make him suffer."
Taehyung still have some distrust about this plan. It looks like a failure from the very start.
" And uhm how do you plan to do that? "
" Now, that's why I've called you here." He walks towards Taehyung with a smirk, making the alpha gulp.
" Huh ?"
Jimin doesn't answer his question instead went towards the landline on his desk.
" Sua, can you ask Mr. Min to bring the sales file to my office. Thanks."
He puts the phone down to see Taehyung giving him a cheeky grin.
" Mr. Min... Hmm."
Taehyung tried to tease him but Jimin was not in the mood to play along.
" He's gonna be here any second now, you gotta act like you're my boyfriend."
Taehyung wants to slam his head on the wall. Did someone ever tell his best friend how stupid he is?
" Jimin ah, seriously? This is your stupid plan? "
" Just do as I said."
Taehyung doesn't seem too cooperative and Jimin starts to have a second thoughts about his decision. He should have just called a fake boyfriend to help him in his plan, sadly he can't go back in time now.
Jimin sighed, he only have one option left now.
" I'll give you my white rolex that you always wanted."
Taehyung's eyes sparkle on the mention of the watch. It was a limited edition and Taehyung has always wanted it, he even asked Jimin to trade it off to him but the omega always declined.
" You won't back off, right? " His eyes glisten with sparkle.
" No..." Jimin replies after some hesitation.
Now, Taehyung finally got into his specified role. Anything for that damn rolex.
" Okay, baby. What do you want from your alpha? "
He puts his hand on Jimin's cheek, getting immensely close to the omega. If it was anyone else in Jimin's place they might surely feel something seeing Taehyung's face so close, but not Jimin.
" Just act well, don't do anything silly."
He warns, not wanting to mess up his perfect plan.
" Yes, baby."
From the door that Jimin purposely left ajar he saw Yoongi approaching.
" He's coming. Quick hold my waist."
Taehyung complied to the command, putting his hands on Jimin's waist, while his eyes stare lovingly at him. Thanks to his drama club that he was a part of in college.
" Sir, the file-"
" Tae, you shouldn't do this here! "
Jimin spoke in a loud voice to subdue Yoongi's words.
" Why? Should I take anyone's permission to touch my baby? "
He snaked his hand around Jimin's back to pull him closer to himself.
" I can't stop myself whenever I look at your pretty face, so beautiful so ethereal."
Taehyung traced Jimin's face with his finger.
Jimin almost slapped Taehyung for his overacting, but he somehow controlled the urge and just smiled.
He finally turned to look in the door's direction to see Yoongi standing there with his eyes fixed on the wall instead of them.
" Oh- Mr. Min-"
He acted like he really just saw him right now, but we all know that was a lie.
" I didn't see you coming."
He got away from Taehyung's hold like he was embarrassed someone found them like this.
Seeing Jimin act like that Taehyung was shocked, he never knew Jimin could act so well.
" Sorry to disturb you." Yoongi says with a smile like he wasn't affected at all.
" It's okay, my boyfriend was missing me so much so, I asked him to come here."
Jimin put the emphasis on word 'boyfriend' but it's like Yoongi didn't hear him. He put the file on the table and went towards Taehyung instead.
" Taehyung ah, it's been a while."
He extended his hands towards the younger, afraid that they didn't have the same bond as before to go for a hug. So, he opted for a safe option.
" It really has been."
Taehyung smiled, reciprocating the hand shake. While someone in the corner was burning inside.
" How have you been? You look even more handsome now."
Taehyung was handsome before but as he stepped into the adulthood his features matures, making him even more ethereal.
" Than-"
" Of course, my boyfriend is the most handsome in here."
Jimin intervened in between, linking his arm with Taehyung. He purposely said the word boyfriend again to make Yoongi notice it.
" I should leave you two alone then."
Yoongi gave Taehyung an knowing look before he went away from there.
Taehyung was amused at the way Yoongi seemed so chill even after seeing him and Jimin acting like this. But then he remember it, a feeling of deja vu.
He and Jimin used to act like a couple in college because Jimin was tired of being asked out and rejecting alpha. So, he'd always have Taehyung scent him to keep the other alphas away. And that's how it was; until a certain someone came.
They were eating in cafeteria with their senior friends when they introduced a new addition to their group. While everyone welcomed him normally, Jimin was a literal mess, he stuttered while introducing himself and even his face was bright red color.
It was clear from his face that Jimin just had his first crush. And that person was none other than 'Min Yoongi.'
From that day Jimin made it clear to Yoongi that he and Taehyung were just friends even though the latter never asked, he kept chasing after the alpha while Yoongi wouldn't treat him any different than their other friends.
That irritated Jimin so much, so he decided to make Yoongi jealous so that the alpha would finally face his feelings. He started flirting with Taehyung, getting a little too touchy and would always look at Yoongi after doing so for a reaction, but all he got was a smug smile from him.
It was like Yoongi knew he was doing it purposely to make him jealous, like he could see that Taehyung and Jimin had nothing between them.
Just as that time, today too Yoongi seemed to know that it was just an act. It was like he tried to keep himself from laughing when he saw the two trying hard to make things believing.
" Why didn't he react in any way? He should be jealous! "
Jimin stomped his feet in frustration, his perfect plan just got bummed.
" My dear best friend, Yoongi hyung knows you more than you think."
He replies with a smile on his face.
" What do you mean? "
Taehyung doesn't reply, he'll let Jimin figure it himself.
" Nothing, I'll wait for my rolex then."
Jimin resisted making eye contact with Taehyung on the mention of rolex.
" What rolex? Did I say anything about a rolex? "
He went back to his seat, and opened the documents again to seem busy.
" Yah, you traitor !"
Taehyung whined at the betrayal he felt from his best friend again. He should have foreseen this. Jimin is sure a sly fox.
