Jimin thought that there was no way his plan wouldn't work. After all he even called Taehyung his boyfriend, thinking this would dishearten Yoongi. He has laughed at the thought as he rode to the office.
But looking at Yoongi now, it's like the alpha isn't even bothered by what happened. He expected him to at least be angry or frustrated, but no. Yoongi still have that damn smile on his face. He desperately wants to wipe it off.
It's so annoying that Jimin is going to get crazy by this rate.
" Hey, should we go out for drinks after work today? "
Jimin hears someone say nearby. He goes there to see two employees talking by the coffee machine.
" I mean it's saturday so why not."
The other replied, happy at the offer. Who the hell in their right mind would decline free drinks ? Plus if the offer is made during weekend, it's irresistible.
Jimin walked away from there but with a smirk forming on his lips.
Just as the clock hits six, Jimin rushes outside just in time to stop his employees from leaving.
" Stop! No one's going to leave right now."
Everyone freezes at their spot.
Their happy faces now drained of colors. For god sake it's the weekend and no one was in mood for overtime.
Jimin quickly read their sad faces and quickly cleared the misinterpretation.
" We're going out for company dinner and drinks."
Everyone went silent for a few seconds before the words finally sunk in their brain, face brightening up with excitement.
Though Jimin didn't look at them his eyes were on Yoongi who for some reason didn't look that happy. But as if he was doing it for his happiness.
They expected Jimin would take them to a cheap restaurant or somewhere close. But instead Jimin took them to an expensive restaurant, everyone's eyes widening as they were welcomed inside and shown their way to the private room Jimin booked for all of them.
The first toast were made in Jimin's welcome accompanied by everyone thanking him for bringing them all here.
The table was filled with numerous dishes and emptied bottles of expensive wine.
Most of the employees were already tipsy, some focusing more on the food than the drinks while others behaved like they live on wine and not water.
But Jimin's whole focus was on Yoongi, instead of the drinks. He himself has downed three glasses after the employees poured it for him.
Which ultimately helped him in feeling the confidence kick in, he definitely needed that to execute his plan.
" Ahm, so how about we play a game to strengthen the bond of our company."
Everyone looks at Jimin with shocked eyes, they had come to the conclusion that Jimin was cold hearted from his first impression.
But looking at him now, all tipsy and a cute smile plastered on his blushee face, everyone's opinion is changing.
" So we all will go one by one and expose something about the person sitting opposite to us."
He smiles at his own idea, while Yoongi on the other hand feels a bit off about it. He knows the omega is upto no good.
" I'll go first." Junho raises his hand first, downing his glass in one go and putting it on the table.
" Mingyu doesn't wash his socks for atleast 5 days."
" That's gross." Everyone laughs at the TMI, while the poor Mingyu was hiding his already red face with his hand.
" Hey ! Don't lie."
He tried to defend himself but there's no use of it as the cat has already come out of the bag.
" My turn! "
Jia raises her hand getting impatient to reveal the the secret. She let out a little giggle first before finally revealing it.
" Sua has a crush on Seungho! "
Gasps were heard before everyone starts cheering and clapping.
Sua immediately gave her a deceived look on that, elbowing her.
" Ya! How can you say that?"
She screams to which Jia pokes out her tongue.
Seungho on the other hand tried to keep a straight face on the new information but the blush on his face gave it away.
Everyone started teasing them both about it when suddenly Jimin's booming voice made everything silent.
" I will go next."
They didn't think that their boss will play the game too, since he doesn't know much about any of them,
Oh, how wrong they were.
" I'll tell you some things about Min Yoongi, your beloved CEO."
He starts with a little slur in his tone that's the after effect of alcohol kicking in his system.
Yoongi had his hand over his mouth, heart beating rapidly, as he felt anxious about what the latter is going to say.
" He has made this very mature and cool image of himself in front of everyone like he was always like that."
He smiles at Yoongi before he officially drops the bomb.
" But in reality he used to be a complete introvert and shy person in college. A nerd."
He laughs at his own words. And everyone had to do the same since Jimin is the boss. Yoongi sighs on hearing that, Jimin is way too drunk.
" He had those rectangular glasses always sitting on his cute button nose, and his veiny hands were always occupied with books that he carried with himself to everywhere."
Jimin pouts at the memory, he remembers getting jealous of Yoongi's book, because it should have been him that Yoongi held in his hands.
While in Jimin's head this all seemed humiliating, everyone else think Jimin is just trying to tell everyone how whipped he used to be for the alpha.
Yoongi had a soft smile on his face, he didn't think Jimin would still remember all those little details about him. His heart feels happy.
" He even used to carry a box of tissues with him everywhere."
Jimin says looking directly at Yoongi, hoping that this information might embarrass him somehow.
But this time Yoongi was ready for counter attack.
" That's because you would get teary eyed by the most random things. I carried them for you."
He says while holding the eye contact with Jimin. His words making Jimin's heart race.
Yoongi remembers a random memory from when they newly started dating. He and Jimin were eating in a cafeteria when Jimin suddenly spotted something and ran outside.
Yoongi ran after him to see, Jimin helping a little kitten whose tail was stuck in a tree branch. Once they were able to help her, Yoongi saw the tears forming on Jimin's eyes, saying how helpless the poor kitten might have been. Yoongi fell even harder at Jimin's cuteness.
And since that day Yoongi carried around of box of tissues just for Jimin. Because he doesn't know when the younger would need them.
" Oh yeah. So why did you always carry a jacket with you even in summers."
" Because you got cold easily."
Jimin hates how he's there trying to embarrass Yoongi, while Yoongi is like he's confessing his underlying love for him.
" You always got drenched in rain because you never remembered to bring an umbrella."
His tone is now desperate and furious.
" I always had my umbrella with me, but I wanted to spend more time with you... So, I pretended that I didn't bring one."
While his heart melted everyone else's heart present there, it only seemed to fuel Jimin's anger.
One can see smoke coming out of Jimin's ears. He doesn't even understand why is he angry. Because he isn't being successful in embarrassing Yoongi ? Or because Yoongi is saying all those words that's warming his heart ?
" Huh, this is nothing. He behaved so arrogantly at that time that he didn't even stand close to his friends."
" That's because you hated it when I smelled like another omega."
Everyone around them had already gone silent, from what they were hearing, they're now sure that there was something between the two of them. Something very serious...
" If you cared so much about me-"
Jimin lifted his face, tears rolling down his red puffy cheeks. He soaked them all in and tried to hold on for some moment.
"-THEN WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME WHEN I NEEDED YOU THE MOST ! "
He screamed loud enough to stop all the commotion in the room. Everything was silent, even the ticking of wall clock seemed to have been stopped.
Yoongi felt his heart swell on seeing Jimin's disheveled state, he could feel every emotion that Jimin was going through. The anger, the hurt, the sadness, everything clearly visible in his eyes.
" I-... I'm sorry." He replies with his own eyes getting dewy. The words feel heavy on his tongue.
Jimin isn't happy hearing that, those are the last words he would like to hear right now.
" FUCK YOU MIN YOONGI! "
He stood up, eyes wandering around the table until he saw a big glass filled with beer. Without giving it a second thought he drowned the glass on Yoongi's head, making him drench in alcohol from head to toe.
" I HATE YOU SO MUCH! "
" Sir! " Everyone gasped at the sudden action. No one saw it coming. Everything became chaotic suddenly.
" It's okay, I think he just had too much." Yoongi smiled, trying to laugh it off like he isn't affected at all by Jimin's action.
The atmosphere has changed completely after Jimin's outburst. Everyone suddenly became sober out of the shock.
" I think we should end our night here." Yoongi announces with a laugh, coming back to his seat after cleaning himself up. His eyes falls on Jimin who is sound asleep on the uncomfortable wooden chair.
" Sir, what about Mr. Park? He isn't waking up." Seungho says. They tried to wake Jimin up from last few minutes but no response.
Yoongi sighs, the omega still can't handle his alcohol well. But would never say no to alcohol.
" Uhm, I'll find a way to get him back home. You all should go now, it's late." He felt guilty spoiling everyone's weekend because of his and Jimin's problem.
Everyone was a little hesitant to leave but in the end Yoongi managed to persuade them.
" Goodnight sir."
" Goodnight."
Yoongi let his smile fall once everyone left, he turned around to go to Jimin now.
He stops for a second crouching down next to Jimin so he could take a look at his beautiful face. He was frowning in his sleep too.
Yoongi saw the tears stains on Jimin's cheeks and tried to clean them up with his handkerchief. But instead his own tears started streaming down now.
His beautiful omega, his Jimin who was the most cheerful person he ever saw in his life, someone who kept smiling even in worst situation.
Not anymore though, cause Yoongi took away that smile from Jimin. He took away Jimin's happiness. He knows it all. He knows he's the reason for Jimin's misery.
Maybe it should have been better if he and Jimin have never met again.
Jimin was better off without him, he was healing but whenever he's with him, it shows on his face that he's still suffering from the past.
Yoongi wiped off his tears from the edge of his sleeve, somehow managing to calm himself. He looked at the clock that indicated it was already midnight.
" Jimin ah, Jim-"
He shook the younger gently to wake him up.
" Mr. Pakk."
Jimin corrects him, opening his eyes for half a second before falling back into a deep slumber.
" Hey! Jimin ah! "
All of the Yoongi's attempt went fruitless after that. Now he was stuck with a drunk and sleepy Jimin by his side, while Yoonjun was waiting for him at home.
He doesn't know what he should do. Who he should choose... His ex lover or his son.
Any guesses what might have happened between them? 🤭
