" Sir, did you finish reviewing this? "
Seungho asks, pointing at the file that Jimin has been staring at for minutes now but wasn't saying anything.
" Huh ? Oh, no. I will- I'll do it right now."
Jimin sighs, the file was sprawled open in front of him but his brain was too busy thinking about something else than to grasp what was in front of him.
He dismisses Seungho from his office so, he could have some time to himself. No matter what he do to distract himself his mind was captured in the thoughts of a certain someone.
And that someone was no one else than his ex's son. He doesn't understand why he feels this way, not quite understanding the weird feeling in his stomach. But it's like his life has become boring now without Yoonjun.
It's been two days since he last saw Yoonjun and Yoongi. The alpha has asked for two days leave as a reward for cracking the deal. And Jimin might have not allowed him but then he thought about Yoonjun wanting to spend some time with Yoongi so he let him be.
His work life has become boring now that Yoongi wasn't here and no he's not missing him he just hate how Yoongi's relaxing in his home with his son and the 'omega'. While all he's doing is busy working his ass off.
That night when he went back home after leaving Yoonjun, a hole seemed to develop in his heart. There was no Yoonjun to greet him by the door anymore.
He didn't know when he got so attached to the kid to this point. He feels lonely without him being by his side when he sleeps, he doesn't have the same appetite without Yoonjun and his numerous questions, so much for a boy whom he knew for only a few days ago.
It was already past dinner time when he went back home, purposely doing so to make his brain drown in work to not think about his ex's son.
" Young master, you're very late today." The head servant welcomes him instead of Yoonjun and it surely made him a bit upset.
" Uh yeah, I had more work to do at office today."
He started walking towards his room, maybe taking a hot shower might ease the uneasiness.
" I'll serve the dinner for you."
" Oh right. Little master had forgotten some of his things here, you can give me his address I'll send someone to deliver it."
Jimin felt a spark of interest run through his whole body. He felt ecstatic, now that he got a viable excuse to meet Yoonjun.
" Young master, where are you going? "
The servant ask on seeing Jimin come down with the little bag in his hand that had Yoonjun's things in it.
" To give back his things."
Jinin hurriedly walks outside after that, not in the mood to waste his time. He'll just hand it over quickly and come back. He's doing so because what if Yoonjun need his things immediately.
" But-"
Jimin didn't listen to any of that before getting in his car and driving away.
" Drive safely! "
The servant shouted behind, there was a knowing smile on his face like he knew what was happening.
Jimin felt weird coming to Yoongi's house at this time. He had an inner turmoil with himself before saying 'fuck it' and ringing the door bell.
He'll just give back the things and go back home, he kept repeating those words to himself.
The happy smile on his face turned into a frown when the door was opened. There was Jungkook standing in Yoongi's house with nothing but a sweatpant and naked torso, staring back at Jimin with a confused look.
" Who's that? "
Yoongi's voice comes from inside.
" Jimin ssi."
Jungkook replies his eyes eyeing Jimin up and down trying to guess his purpose for coming here this late.
" Jimin? "
Yoongi left whatever work he was doing and instead ran to the door. His eyes lighting up instantly when he saw Jimin standing here, his face showed a glint of shock too because he didn't expect Jimin to be here, but nonetheless he was happy.
" Jiminiee! "
The squeaky voice brings a big smile on Jimin face but the omega quickly hides it so as to not look whipped.
Yoonjun ran towards Jimin and threw himself at the omega. Yoongi gasped at that afraid that Jimin might not like Yoonjun being so touchy with him. But Jimin wrapped his own arms around him with a big smile, shocking everyone.
When Jimin felt pair of eyes on him, he let Yoonjun go slowly, feeling awkward now.
" Uh, your things."
He extends the bag forward for Yoonjun to take it.
Even though Jimin has already told himself that he would go away once his task is done, his body is refusing his orders now.
" You could have given it to me in the office tomorrow."
Jimin's cheek heat up on embarrassment. Well if he did that he wouldn't have been able to see Yoonjun. Not like he'll ever admit the real reason though.
" I thought he might need them."
The excuse isn't very viable cause it's just Yoonjun's PJ's but he couldn't have thought of anything better to say.
" Still you shouldn't have come this late."
The caring look on Yoongi's face made Jimin's heart race. It was a simple gesture but his omega is still delighted by that.
" Jiminie why aren't you coming inside? "
Yoonjun holds Jimin's hand trying to pull him inside. His big smile indicates that he might have missed Jimin too, the thought making Jimin's heart beat faster.
After all they were getting into a routine after spending a lot of time with each other.
" Come I'll serve you some tea."
Jimin didn't have time to decline when he was being pulled inside by Yoonjun. He made Jimin sit on the couch while showing him the toys Yoongi brought for him.
Yoongi thought Jimin might not like these kind of conversation, but the fond look on Jimin's face told him otherwise. It only made him more curious as to how these two became so bonded in such a small time.
He's didn't believe Yoonjun at first when he told him about all the fun things he did with Jimin, but seeing this scene right now he finally believes him.
But seeing Jimin and Yoonjun so happy with each other, it was fatal for his heart. It was like a dream come true for him, which he has always regarded as something impossible.
" Yoonjun baby, it's your bed time. Let's go."
Jungkook sees that the time was already past his bed time. Yoonjun pouted at the order.
" But I wanna stay with Kiminie."
He hides his face in Jimin's chest snuggling closer. Jimin is still not used to this much skinship so he just stays frozen in his position, not knowing what to do.
" Jun ah, you'll be late for school if you stay awake anymore."
Yoongi's warning is enough to make Yoonjun stand up on his feet ready to go, his face is all sulky.
" You should sleep."
Jimin adds in a low voice too, feeling like he has no right to say that but he still did.
" Good night Jiminie."
He waved him with a pouty look before Jungkook finally picked him up and took him inside the room.
Jimin felt really jealous on seeing that. By the way of it, it looked like Jungkook lived here with Yoongi and more that they were very accustomed to his presence in the house. He shouldn't feel this way but he is very much jealous.
" He's living with you? "
He finally asks once he and Yoongi were left alone.
Yoongi served two cup of tea for on the table and took a seat right next to Jimin.
" Jungkook's trying to look for an apartment in Seoul and until he finds one I told him he can stay with us."
Jimin didn't reply anything to that so Yoongi continued the conversation by himself.
" Yoonjun told me he met Taehyung."
" He seemed to really like him."
A smile seemed to form on Jimin's face on thinking about the scenario of Taehyung playing with Yoonjun.
" They bonded quickly."
" He also told me that he met your father too."
Jimin stopped to heave a sigh at that.
" Yeah, he did."
" Does he knows? "
Yoongi's voice is a mere whisper but in the silence that surrounded them Jimin heard it.
When Yoongi agreed to let Yoonjun live with Jimin he thought the omega must be living on his own, he didn't know he still lived with his father. So, when Yoonjun told him he met Jimin's father he was shocked.
" I lied that he's Taehyung's cousin."
He said to ease Yoongi's tension.
" I should go, my dad would be worried."
He stood up seeing the night getting more darker. He left his phone at his home in hurry and his dad might go frantic again thinking something bad might have happened to you.
" Let me drop you."
" I brought my own car."
" I'll accompany you downstairs then."
Jimin didn't have time to reject him since Yoongi is already walking outside the apartment.
They both went into the elevator, the high tension between them was eating them from inside. It's like their scents were suffocating each other.
" Are you free this sunday? "
Jimin suddenly asked to feel less uneasiness. But he doesn't see how his one question made Yoongi's scent more stronger.
" Huh? Y-yes, I mean I'm absolutely free whenever you want me."
Yoongi didn't believe what he heard. Was Jimin asking him out? Or was he just hallucinating all this?
" I promised to take him to the amusement park."
Jimin closed all the assumptions Yoongi might be having.
Actually Yoonjun has already told Yoongi about their plan of going to amusement park that got cancelled. And yoongi thought Jimin only obliged to it because Yoonjun was staying with him at that time.
But seeing Jimin want to take Yoonjun to amusement park even after he's back, tells him that maybe the relationship between them is getting better.
" And unlike someone I don't break my promises."
Jimin taunts him, but instead of a venomous one like it usually is, this one felt like a friendly banter to Yoongi for some reason.
" Tell me by saturday night."
With that the elevator door opened.
" You don't need to go any further, I can go now."
Jimin said still facing forward, he knew the alpha would want to leave him by his car but he doesn't want that.
" Drive safely!"
Yoongi says and there's a big smile on his face that'll stay there for a long time all because of Jimin.
