Jimin taps his foot in anticipation, he has been standing outside his house for minutes now and there's still no sign of his best friend showing up.
He was about to dial him up once again when a familiar fancy car stopped right in front of him.
" Do you enjoy being late? "
His first instinct is to scold his best friend as soon as he sees him.
" Well, you're just early cause you can't wait to meet Yoonjun and his handsome father."
Taehyung isn't the one who stays silent in this friendship. Instead he comes back with a ten times bigger comeback.
He could see the way it affected Jimin and how his cheeks turned pink on the mention of Yoongi. And the omega still says he and Yoongi are just in a business relationship.
" Stop! "
Jimin puffed up his cheeks, like a baby. He doesn't like how Taehyung's teases affect him.
" Come on in now."
Taehyung opens the door for the omega to come in. If he hasn't done so Jimin would have scolded him again for not being a gentleman.
" What is your excuse for being late this time? "
Jimin was still salty about Taehyung being late. The alpha is usually on time, it just happened this once but Jimin isn't going to let it slide.
" I was dreaming about the love of my life."
Taehyung huffs a sigh after that.
" He was about to take off his mask and show me his face when you called me."
He can only afford to see him in his dream and even there Jimin is there to violate that right from him.
" What a perfect timing! "
Jimin claps his hands, acting like he has done a great job.
" You could have gone without me though."
" Well that day, he wanted us to go together so I thought he'd like it if you came along."
Taehyung sees how Jimin doesn't say Yoonjun's name and kept referring him as 'he' but he decided to ignore it for now.
" And ?"
He asks, waiting for Jimin to reveal the real reason.
" Well, Yoongi said he'll bring that omega too so.."
Jimin's facial expressions changes when he mentions Jungkook. No, he doesn't hate him or anything but it's just- there's this weird feeling inside of him whenever he thinks about him.
" So, that's the real reason you're taking me there? "
Taehyung looked more betrayed now. He expected Jimin to deny that and say something cheesy like 'no, it's because I just want you to be with me' but in contrast to that Jimin just nodded his head, accepting it.
" You're crazy."
Taehyung laughs, damn well he knows how brutally honest Jimin can be at times.
" I know, now keep driving. They must have already reached."
Even though Taehyung was already late enough when he picked Jimin up, there was no sign of Yoongi and Yoonjun arriving even minutes later after their arrival. But since Jimin has experienced it, he can now understand that getting late is normal when you have kids.
" You were scolding me for being late when they're not even here."
Jimin felt like Taehyung was scolding him on Yoongi's behalf.
" There's a thing called heavy traffic."
He tries to defend Yoongi.
" You should buy the tickets till then."
" Five, right ?"
Jimin nods to that and Taehyung went ahead to buy the tickets while Jimin stood by the entrance to wait for them.
He thought about texting Yoongi to ask how long it'd take just when he heard familiar footsteps running towards him.
" Jiminieee! "
The boy screams with joy as soon as he sees Jimin in from of him.
He run towards him with open arms and Jimin gladly bent down a little to receive him. From the first time they met, there have been an immense upgrade in their relationship. Where earlier Jimin didn't even wanted to hug the boy back, now all he wanna do is engulf him in his warm embrace.
" Hey, kiddo."
He ruffles Yoonjun's hair just a little, trying not to spoil his hair style.
" Jiminie is the best."
Yoonjun shows him his thumb. He thought Jimin would have forgotten about their promise but when his father told him about the plan he became so happy that he wouldn't stop jumping.
" Better than you appa right? "
The boy giggles at the question, before finally nodding.
" Sorry for being late, he spilled juice over his clothes."
Yoongi comes from behind, wearing a deep neck- black long sleeves along with black jeans. Even though it's scorching hot outside Yoongi chose to wear black. Because someone once said to him that he looked good in black.
Jimin tries not to look too flustered by Yoongi. Even though it's nothing too fancy, it still triggers the memories of his past, where Yoongi would wear something like that when they went on dates.
" It's okay, we just reached here now too."
Now, it was Yoongi's turn to stare at Jimin. The omega wore a plain white t-shirt that fit tightly around his body, giving out the perfect shape to his waist, along with that he wore a jacket adorned in sparkle that reached his mid torso.
Yoongi missed seeing Jimin dressed up like that. Since now he could only see Jimin in formal wears, but he looked good in that too.
" Where's Jungkook? "
Jimin decides to ask when he found Yoongi staring at him too hard.
" He's parking the car."
Yoongi's face got red in embarrassment on getting caught staring.
Yoonjun just looked two and forth between the two adults trying to figure out why they were looking red as tomatoes.
" Jimin ah, here are the tickets."
Taehyung came back holding the tickets.
" Taetae! "
Yoonjun got out of Jimin's hold to run to Taehyung now.
" Oh Junie! "
Taehyung swirled him around in his arms making him giggle so loudly.
" Ah, Taehyung is here too."
A warm smile embraces Yoongi's face as he sees Taehyung present too.
" Yeah, I asked him to come here to give me company."
Jimin was afraid Yoongi might not like that ge brought Taehyung along without informing him, but seeing Yoongi smiling it looks like the alpha has no problem with it.
" Hello, Yoongi hyung."
Taehyung went for a handshake like last time, but Yoongi went for a hug instead surprising him.
" It's good to see you again, Taehyung ah."
He speaks across Taehyung's shoulder.
" Yoonjun told me how much fun he had with you. Thank you for taking care of him."
Yoongi's eyes glisten with gratitude, words can't express how much happy he was when Yoonjun told him how nicely Taehyung treated him.
" Yeah, he's so different from you, so energetic."
Yoongi nods in acknowledgement, Yoonjun is an energetic child, that's why his most of the energy is spent on handling him.
" Hyung, here are you car keys."
Jungkook joins them too once he's finished with his track. Dressed in a white button up and beige cardigan, he looked completely different than how Jimin saw him for the very first time.
" Oh, who's this? "
His eyes flutter on seeing the stranger who was dressed in a black sunflower patterned shirt, topped off with a black blazer. Jungkook thought the man was way too overdressed for an amusement park. He should be at some award show or red carpet.
" I'm Ki-"
Taehyung went past by Yoongi to finally introduce himself to this omega that he has been hearing about from Jimin for past few days.
But the flow of his words stopped as soon as his eyes met with those alluring eyes. A sense of familiarity hit him like a truck.
" Tae? "
Jimin shook him when Taehyung didn't move for way too long. The alpha stood there like he was turned into a statue, and maybe Jungkook's gaze really turned him into one.
" HOLY SHIT! "
Jimin's warm touch on his body made him feel like, his soul just came back after revolving around the earth.
" Yah! Don't curse."
Jimin scolds Taehyung but there's no benefit cause he's doing that again.
" YOU! You- HOLY FU-"
This time Jimin smacked him before he could complete his sentence.
" Kim Taehyung! "
Taehyung didn't pay a single attention to Jimin, his all attention was concentrated on the omega that stood in front of him.
He walked closer to him while not breaking the eye contact between them. He's afraid if he did so, the guy will disappear.
" You are - you are the MASK GUY! "
His voice came out like he has just learnt to speak for the first time.
" What? "
Jungkook looked at Yoongi's direction for help, he was clearly uncomfortable and confused by the event.
" Huh, Who? "
Yoongi in turn looked at Jimin, for an explanation. Cause only Jimin seemed to understand what was going on.
" Y-you don't remember me? "
Taehyung seemed hurt by that.
" We met at the airport. I accidentally tripped over my feet and my belongings fell so, you helped me pick them up."
He rambled in one breath, Jungkook had a stroke trying to understand what the person just sais.
" Uh, yeah I guess. I remember? "
Jungkook sees a faint vision of a person who had scattered all his things on the floor, and like a good human Jungkook helped him to gather them all. He didn't think much about that encounter.
While Taehyung has practically seen the same in his dreams countless times already.
" You don't understand how much I tried to find you! "
Taehyung goes as far as to hold Jungkook's hands in his own, scaring the boy even more now.
" And you're finally here, the lov-"
A hard slap echoes around them.
Jimin has once again smacked taehyung on his head and this time he might have used a little too much strength.
" Sorry, can you give us a minute."
With that Jimin pulled Taehyung into a vacant corner with him where he could hide from Yoongi and Jungkook's gaze.
" Tae, what the fuck was that? "
" Chim, my best friend. You don't understand. He's the same guy, the love of my life, my saviour."
Jimin rolls his eyes at the exaggerated titles.
" You're clearly making him feel uncomfortable with all that."
Taehyung goes silent on hearing that. Seeing his dream guy standing in front of him has flooded his senses. Now only he understands his actions and their consequences.
" Oh did I? "
His before confident shoulder now slumps down. That was never his attention, his alpha just got too excited, because he didn't thought he would see Jungkook ever again. To him, it's fate. The destiny has brought them together. There's no other explanation.
" You want to scare him away? "
Taehyung shook his head to that.
" Then act accordingly."
Jimin sees Taehyung's long face. He isn't trying to stop Taehyung from shooting his shot, but he thinks his straight forward way is wrong.
" But how? He's my crush who I thought I'd never meet but here I am. I can't believe this happened. Universe must have aligned for us. We're destined to be together."
There's only one title that would suit Taehyung right now and it's hopeless romantic. He has stars shining in his eyes as he talks about Jungkook. And Jimin has never seen Taehyung this whipped for someone before.
" I'm gonna kiss Yoongi hyung real quick for bringing him here."
Taehyung was actually going to do but as if Jimin will let him do that.
" You're NOT gonna do that."
" Why ? Jealous much."
Taehyung gave him those squinted side eyes with a smirk, which earns him a punch from the omega.
" Shut up."
" Chim, I know I always make fun of your short height. And I'll stop doing that for once and for all just-- just do me a favor."
Taehyung would have got down on knees if not for the many eyes watching them.
" What? "
" Please keep Yoongi hyung and Yoonjun away from us. So, I can woo the man of my dreams."
" Please, for the sake of our soulmate-ship."
He stares at Jimin with his tear filled eyes. The trick to cry in 5 seconds that he has learned is finally paying off.
" I'll try."
" I love you so much."
Taehyung went ahead to leave a wet kiss on Jimin's cheek making the other scrunch his nose in disgust.
" Stop, you're gross."
" Let's go, my man is waiting for me."
He pulled Jimin back to where Jungkook and Yoongi were waiting for him.
It just felt like their college days where the two best friends used to go on double date together.
