" Yah, why didn't you let me copy your assignment? "
Taehyung's thunderous voice comes directed at Jimin just as the professor went out after the dismissal of class.
Jimin gave Taehyung a look before turning back to pack his things.
" Why would I? I spent the whole night doing it while you were busy partying."
Jimin pokes out his tongue at the alpha, finally done winding up his things and ready to go. He's in a hurry to meet someone.
" I told you, my dad brought me there against my will. I didn't have any other choice."
Taehyung rushes out after Jimin not understanding why the omega is in such a haste today.
" Then you should whine to your dad and not me."
He was about to get out of the class when Taehyung stood in front of him. Blocking him with his huge ass chest right in front of Jimin's face.
" Park Jimin, what about our unbreakable soulmate bond? "
Taehyung puts on his best puppy face. Everyone passing by them gave them looks and laughed, by the time everyone knows the way the two best friend act around each other.
" That don't apply to copying assignments."
" Ya-"
Taehyung was cut by Jimin pushing him out of his way.
The alpha turned around to see what had made the omega so hyper in the morning, but when he finally saw the view he understood everything.
" Yoongi hyung! "
Jimin even drops his bag on the ground as he leapt towards Yoongi. He lets out an unintentional purr after settling in Yoongi's open arms. His head remained buried in the older's neck, craving for the alpha's scent after being separated from him.
Jimin's hug is stronger than anything Yoongi has ever known, as if holding him isn't quite enough, Jimin wants to feel every ounce of the alpha's body.
He let his body sag, his muscles becoming loose in his lover's presence.
" You're squeezing me, love. It hurts. "
Yoongi said in a squeaky voice, because he wasn't really able to breathe from the pressure exerted by Jimin. He felt like he might get squeezed to death.
" I don't care. I missed you so much."
Jimin loosen his hold just a bit, enough to let Yoongi breath again.
" He was only gone for a week."
Taehyung retorts from behind spoiling the romantic mood. Jimin finally separates from Yoongi at that, glaring at Taehyung with his cutely scrunched nose.
" And there are 604800 seconds in a week-" He turned his attention back to Yoongi now. His angry expression softens everytime he looks at his alpha "-I missed you every second."
Yoongi fondly ran his hand over Jimin's hairs. His gummy smile showing as he looks at his pouty omega.
" I missed you too, Min ah."
His hand goes all the way down his back just to settle on Jimin's waist, in a swift moment he pulls Jimin closer to his body.
" I hate couples."
Taehyung remarks from behind. He looks at them with arms crossed in front of his chest. Even though his face had a disgusted expression, he was happy from inside.
Happy that he wouldn't have to hear Jimin whining about how much he missed Yoongi.
" I think I should tell that to Jaehyun."
" Don't you dare! "
Yoongi stops the two best friend before they could be at each other's throat.
" Would you like to join us? I'm going to take Jimin to that newly opened cake shop to lift his mood."
Taehyung seems impressed by the offer and he'd have gladly accepted it if not for Yoongi's dear boyfriend who gave him a deadly look.
" Your boyfriend would murder me if I accepted your offer."
Taehyung points out and Jimin suddenly changes his expression to an innocent one. Like he doesn't understand what Taehyung is talking about.
" It's fine. I already have plans with my omega. You two enjoy."
And with that Taehyung left the two alone. He knows Jimin is gonna be all over Yoongi since the alpha came back from his hometown after a week holiday.
" Give me your bag, it must be heavy."
Yoongi takes the bag from Jimin's hand even though Jimin tried to resist.
" Hyung, I'm not weak."
" You said anything about you being weak? I still have those marks painted on my back. You're anything but weak."
A pretty shade of pink flushes over Jimin's face when Yoongi said those words.
" Hyung, don't say such things here !"
He looks around to see if anybody heard them, but thankfully everyone is busy in their own world.
" Why ? Are you afraid people would know what a wild baby you're in the bed? "
" Yah Min Yoongi!"
" I like it when your face gets all red."
Yoongi cups Jimin's face in his hands, Jimin's red face in between his pale hands looked like he was holding a bouquet of rose.
" Can we go to your house?"
Jimin asks taking Yoongi's hand off his face so he could hold his hand instead.
" You have an important lecture after the break."
Jimin frowns at the reply, that's not what he was expecting.
" But I wanted to cuddle with you."
" Mr. Park, I know that's not what you really wanted to do."
Yoongi whispers in his ears, sending shivers to the omega's body.
" Come on, let's go to the cake shop before your break is over."
" Your lips are sweeter than cake though."
Jimin replies with a smirk, still in the mood of flirting.
" Jimin ah, you'd be the death of me."
The alpha face palms himself, and starts to drag Jimin away from there before everyone starts gossiping about their red faces.
Jimin woke up with a smile as he dreamt about the fond memory. For the first time in a while, he has a smile on his face instead of anger after remembering the past memory.
He flutter open his eyes to see Yoongi already wide awake, his face just inches away from him. A fond smile plastered on the alpha's face that made Jimin's weak heart do somersault in his chest.
" Seems like you had a good dream."
On seeing Jimin's cute morning face, Yoongi seems to contemplates on something.
It seemed like a hard decision for him before he decides to give in to his desires.
He brings his face closer to the omega's and left a chaste forehead kiss on Jimin's temple making Jimin feel butterflies in his stomach. How many years have been since he felt Yoongi's lips on his skin?
" Why didn't you wake me up? "
" I wanted to stare at your cute sleeping face."
Jimin covers his face at that, he thinks it's embarrassing how easily Yoongi can make him blush. And he can do it just by his sweet talks.
" Don't think I'll forgive you just because of your sappy lines."
He says in a strict tone because even though his heart wants Yoongi, he is still afraid that something like before might happen. There's this weird pain in his chest that only time and Yoongi's love is capable of healing.
" I know, I would work hard to earn my forgiveness."
Yoongi smiles lightly, stroking Jimin's hairs. When he stares into Jimin's eyes, his eyes almost dews again at the thought of what Jimin had went through because of him. He would never get over the guilt of making Jimin's life miserable.
" Let's get up now, your son must be waiting for you."
Jimin sees that look in Yoongi's eyes and he can feel what the alpha might be thinking. He doesn't want Yoongi to feel that way.
" Nah, he must still be sleeping. He's a sleepyhead like me."
When Jimin tries to get up, Yoongi pulls him back into his arms, this time capturing him in a backhug.
He buries his face in Jimin's nape and closes his eyes. He wants to tell Jimin how much he wished for this day. How much he prayed to the heavens to give him his Jimin back. So, that he'd never let go of him this time.
" But my dad must be waiting for me, we should go."
Jimin finally gets off Yoongi's hold. Because even if that's what he had wanted too, he still felt very overwhelmed by all of these events. How their whole relationship changed in just a span of one night.
But he thinks the conversation was necessary. He was able to see that he wasn't the only one in pain, that he wasn't the only one holding into their past..
But now he's more curious to know Yoongi's side of the story. He wish if he could force Yoongi to tell him about it right now, but that won't be the right thing to do.
Yoongi promised him that he'll tell him the truth once he's ready so Jimin decides to trust him. It isn't as easy as before but he'll try. He'll trust Yoongi once again...
After freshing up and a quick dinner they were on their way back to Jimin's house. Yoongi has been fighting with his alpha this whole time, who desperately wanted to hold Jimin's hand.
Because once he got to hold Jimin in his arms he keeps wanting more and more.
But he thinks it might make the omega uncomfortable and he doesn't want to do anything like that to upset Jimin.
He stopped the car a few blocks before Jimin's house. Both Jimin and him knew the reason behind it. If Jimin's father saw them both together it'll be a mess. So, they'd work on their relationship first before Jimin finally tells his father about it.
" Jimin ah."
Yoongi says softly, even his tone has changed now.
Jimin looks at Yoongi and slowly flutter his eyes, waiting for the alpha to continue with his sentence.
Yoongi opened the drawer in front of Jimin and took out a white box from it. He puts it in his palm and slowly starts to unwrap the ribbon from it.
He hesitated a bit before opening the box and putting it in front of Jimin to see.
Jimin looked at Yoongi with a confused look before he finally looked down to see what the box holded. It was a bracelet, a silver one.
" Yoongi this-"
Jimin looks at Yoongi for an explanation. The silver bracelet had a infinite sign in the front and little butterflies hanging along it's end.
" Uh, I just saw this in Japan and thought it'd suit your style. So, I got this for you."
Yoongi nervously rubs his neck, afraid that Jimin might not like it. It's the first gift he got for Jimin in years. He was just walking around the streets when he saw this on the display it and he was pulled towards it.
And when the worker told him the meaning that the bracelet held Yoongi thought it'd be the best gift.
" But-"
" I wont take a no."
Yoongi says desperately, if Jimin doesn't take it his alpha would see it as a rejection.
" It's okay if you don't wanna wear it, but don't reject it."
It'd be fine if Jimin just take it even if he doesn't wear it.
Jimin's omega is all happy gleeful, thinking of this as a courting gift. But Jimin is still a bit hesitant. He's facing one of the hard dilemmas that he faces a lot nowadays and it's all related to Yoongi.
He looks at the bracelet once again, he feels as if the bracelet is calling him.
'It's just a bracelet', he tells himself.
" Put it on me."
He puts his hand forward, shocking Yoongi by his action. The alpha wasn't expecting that.
" Can I?"
Once he gets the affirmation from Jimin, he doesn't waste any time in doing so.
" It suits you so well, just like I expected." Yoongi claps happily, and Jimin thinks how similar he and Yoonjun are.
" I should go now, you're getting late too."
" Jimin ah."
Yoongi calls just as the omega steps outside.
" What? "
" Nothing."
Yoongi shook his head with a smile. He's whipped.
" Go."
" I'll go once I see you go inside."
Jimin turns around to finally leave, there's this big smile on his face, one that reaches to his eyes. He caresses his bracelet lovingly. To him it's a sign of new beginning.
" Dad! "
Jimin calls for his father as soon as he enters.
" Jimin ah."
His father replies back so Jimin could find him.
"What? You missed me? "
Jihoon chuckles when Jimin hugs him for a little too longer than usual.
" Of course."
" Then how will you manage once you get married? "
" I'll ask my husband to stay here."
Jihoon cracks a smile at his son's innocence.
" You look very happy today, did something good happen? "
Jimin got shy when his father asks that. He just nods in reply without explaining.
And his father understand that Jimin needs some time before he tells him the reason behind his smile. For now, he's just contented see him happy.
" I hope you keep on smiling like this my baby."
He caresses Jimin's lifted cheeks. Oh, how beautiful his son looks like this. Happiness suits him so well.
" Me and your papa wants nothing more than that."
" I'm happy dad. Finally happy."
Jimin replies putting his hand on top of his father's. He finally found his happiness again.
" Hyung, you're back."
Jungkook has a smile on his face as he opens the door to find Yoongi standing there.
Yoongi nods and come inside. The big smile on Yoongi's face doesn't go unnoticed by Jungkook and he can imagine that his happiness is related to Jimin.
" You look happy."
Jungkook states the obvious. His smile faltering a little.
" Yeah, we got the deal."
Jungkook knows that it's a lie. A successful deal can't bring that kind of smile on a person's face. Atleast not on Yoongi's. Because the alpha never runs after materialistic things.
" Are you going somewhere? "
Yoongi finally notices the fancy clothes Jungkook was wearing, and also the cologne he wore that added extra richness to his already sweet scent.
" Oh yeah, I'm going to Taehyung's house."
" Ah, so you're thinking about living with him? "
Jungkook has already told Yoongi about Taehyung's offer and Yoongi encouraged him to take it. But he was a bit hesitant firstl, since Taehyung was a stranger to him after all.
" Don't worry, he's a nice kid. I've known him for long."
Jungkook agrees at that. Even though he met Taehyung only once, he can deduce that much from their first meet.
Taehyung isn't a stereotypical alpha. He's very different from the alpha's Jungkook has met.
He surely looks a bit intimidating at first look but when one gets to know him then only that person will understand how soft and funny the alpha is.
Jungkook doesn't see how his expression changes when he think about Taehyung. The soft smile on his face is something new, something that he hasn't experienced before, something that's there because of Taehyung.
