Yoongi was a bit skeptical about the sudden proposal that he made on Yoonjun's birthday since he thought Jimin might want some time to make everything official.
But opposite to that Jimin was even ready to get married to him the very next day, without any proper clothing or venue, he just didn't want to delay something that has been already delayed for years now.
Getting married to Yoongi has been his dream for a very long time. It was something he had wished for the most and finally it was coming true, so why would he want to delay it any longer ? He had already spent so many years for it to finally come true.
And in an aspect Yoongi was like him too. Although getting married was basically a formality for them at this point, Yoongi still couldn't wait to officially regard Jimin as his husband.
They started planning for their wedding that very night after they came back from Yoonjun's birthday celebration. And along with the wedding they had to plan about their new house too. Yoongi wanted both Jimin and Yoonjun to be involved in it.
So, he took Jimin and Yoonjun there the next weekend so they could see the place and decide on the arrangement and make some final touches according to their preferences.
After telling them their specific arrangements, the interior designer said it'd take them around three months to change this into their dream house. And since they had decided to tie the knot around the same time they thought it'd be a nice idea to shift here on the day of their wedding. That way it could be more meaningful as it'd truly be a new starting for them.
They got married under the bright summer sky, with the spring flowers blooming to give the couple their blessings.
Not many people were invited as Yoongi and Jimin wanted it to be a private ceremony. The only people that came were their friends, Yoongi's parents, Taehyung's parents, Jungkook's brother and Jimin's father.
Jimin has still not forgiven his father, the last time he talked to him was probably on Yoonjun's birthday. They are still walking on eggshells but amidst that Yoongi still encouraged Jimin to let Jihoon come to his wedding.
He knew what Jihoon might be feeling being away from his only child, after all he's a father too. And he doesn't want to make him more miserable by not letting him see his son's wedding.
Jimin didn't react much to that; he just asked Yoongi to do whatever he wanted, which was his way of telling him to invite his father.
They went personally to everyone's house to give them invitations, including Jungkook's brother, with whom they have established a deep bond, especially Yoonjun who has become best friends with Hyejin. He'd get mad at Taehyung and Jungkook if they visit Hyejin without telling him first.
They went to Jihoon's house too, although Jimin stayed in the car while Yoongi and Yoonjun were the ones who went inside. Jihoon had teary eyes at the news, although they were happy tears because his son was finally getting married although the regret was there too. How it could have been more earlier if not for his one mistake that ruined his son's life.
After invitations, the next main things were their clothes and rings. They went for a customized one and had a suit made for Yoonjun that was coordinating with theirs.
And after the wait of months the day was finally there.
Yoongi thought he wouldn't get teary eyed anymore, so he made a resolution to himself to not cry on his happy day. Yet he was there, taking one glance at Jimin walking down the aisle and tears already started making their way to his eyes.
Jimin's one hand was held by Yoongi's father and the other was held by Yoonjun. Jimin kept on looking back and forth between them with a big smile. It was his own decision to let Yoongi's father walk him down, as he regards him as his own father.
He allowed Jihoon to come to his wedding but he didn't want to let him walk him down the aisle.
And Jihoon understood his decision, thinking of it as his punishment for what he has done to him.
And when Yoonjun came to know about this tradition he argued that he wanted to walk Jimin down the aisle too. And both of them thought it was cute so they easily agreed.
But what Jimin hadn't expected was that Yoonjun would hold a photo frame, having a picture of Jimin with Hajun & Jihoon. It made him cry more, he felt as if his papa was present there too on his special day.
When Jimin stood there in front of Yoongi it finally made them both realize how this was all happening in real life. Yoonjun stood between his parents the whole time. He was holding Jimin's hand while looking at his appa with a big smile. It looked like the child was more excited for their wedding than them.
They exchanged their customized rings and sweet self written vows, which made everyone present there tear up, including Jihoon who quietly wept in one corner of the hall missing Hajun very much today.
And at the end they seized their special day by passionately kissing each other. The hall echoed with everyone's loud clapping and congratulations for the newly wed.
" Congrats Mr. Min."
Yoongi calls him with an overly sweet tone as he feeds their wedding cake to Jimin.
" You too, dear husband."
Jimin falls into a big wide smile as the realization finally settles down in his bones that Yoongi is officially his now.
" Papa ! Appa ! Junie is very happy."
Yoonjun comes from behind and wraps his arm around his parents for a brief second before Yoongi finally pulls him up front to make him sit on his lap.
" We're happy too, baby."
Jimin says, squishing Yoonjun's chubby cheeks between his palms.
" So, so happy."
Yoongi adds, feeling the surreality of the moment. He and Jimin are officially married now, Jimin is finally Min Jimin. Their son is sitting in between them with a bright smile on his face.
It's his dream come true. His dream that he has wished for since the day he met Jimin in university.
His dream that he was so close to achieving when Jimin announced his pregnancy to him. His dream that was shattered as he took Yoonjun away from Jimin's life. His dream that he thought would never come true after that, until Jimin came back into his life again.
His dream... that is not a dream anymore. It's a reality. He's there, Jimin is there, Yoonjun is there. Everything is picture perfect.
" Baby, we're here! "
Jimin says as he parks the car in front of the very familiar building. A smile forms on his lips as he starts to get a bit nostalgic. It's been a few months since he has been here, so it feels different right now.
" This is appa and papa's office? "
Yoonjun asks as he excitedly looks out at the tall building through the car window.
" Yeah."
Jimin giggles seeing Yoonjun's cute expression. This would be the first time he's taking Yoonjun inside their office, he's sure the boy would be very happy to explore the office where his parents work.
" Come on, let's go inside."
Jimin unbuckles his seat belt and then does the same with Yoonjun.
The boy happily exited the car once unbuckled and then waited patiently outside for his father to lock the car before they entered the building. He'd have already run away inside if he had come here before, but since it was his first time being here, he was cautious of his surroundings.
" Here, let's wear our coats first or your appa will scold us."
Jimin helps the boy into his coat first before he himself drapes the coat over his cold body.
October has started and it only brought cold with itself. Yoonjun and Jimin tends to easily catch a cold and get sick so, Yoongi always makes sure to wrap them up in warm clothes. If not, then they have to hear an earful from Yoongi.
" Let's go now."
Jimin extends his hand for the boy to take but Yoonjun doesn't take his hand. Instead he puts his hand to his head, in a facepalming like pose.
" Papa, you're forgetting something."
Yoonjun says pointing at the back seat of the car.
Jimin turns around a little confused at first but then he remembers.
" Huh- oh! "
" Your papa acts like a silly person sometimes."
A sheepish smile forms on his lips as he retracts the bag from the back seat.
" We came all the way here to give your appa his lunch box yet I was going to forget it here. Thanks for reminding me, baby."
Jimin ruffles Yoonjun's hair a little as a way of thanking him. He had brought a homemade lunch for Yoongi today that he and Yoonjun had specially prepared for him. His cooking skills have improved immensely throughout the years all thanks to his dear husband who taught him very patiently.
The thought of seeing his alpha was so exciting to him that he forgot about the lunchbox. He acts like he hasn't seen Yoongi in weeks although he just saw the alpha this morning in their home.
" Can I carry the lunch box ? I'll handle it carefully."
The boy asks with his pleading eyes. And Jimin easily obliges to his request. The lunchbox isn't even that heavy and he trusts that Yoonjun would handle it well.
" Okay. Don't shake it too much."
Jimin puts the lunch box in his arms and Yoonjun wraps his arms around the bag as if he was hugging it.
Once Yoonjun had a tight grip around it, they started walking inside. Jimin's one hand rested on Yoonjun's back since both of the child's hands were already preoccupied to hold his father's hand.
Jimin gets Yoonjun into the lift after they pass through the shocked stare they got from the guards and the receptionist at the counter. Though their expression only made Jimin feel more excited.
The elevator chimes as it stops in front of the designated floor. Jimin and yoonjun got out and started to walk inside the lobby that'd eventually lead to the main office.
Jimin feels excitement bubble up inside him, as he finally enters the main arena. He has to pass through the area where the employees work before he gets to Yoongi's cabin. He thinks he'd give them all quite a shock today because none of them knows Yoongi and Jimin are married to each other or have a kid together.
" Let's go inside, baby."
Jimin whispers to Yoonjun before pushing the door open and entering inside.
His arrival made everyone stop and look up from their working desks. Jimin smiles at them as he looks at the familiar faces, he even raised his hand to wave at them, but they were too shocked to even wave back at him.
Maybe the child stuck by his side was what shocked them or maybe it was his protruding bump that was carved out from under his coat. He couldn't guess what made them more shocked. But he's sure that finding out that his alpha is none other than their Boss Min Yoongi would be the most shocking.
" Hii guys, how have you been? "
" S-sir? "
" Sir Park? "
They look at him like they've seen a ghost come alive.
Seungho and a few others leave their desks to see Jimin from up close to make sure they weren't seeing this wrong.
" Yeah, it's me. Your Sir Park."
Jimin adds with a laugh, it's been a long time since he has heard someone address him as Sir or as Mr. Park, since he's Mr. Min now. But the workers don't know it yet.
Yoonjun hid behind his back as the strangers approached them but seeing his father talking so freely with them, he started to feel relaxed too.
" Or maybe you should address me as Sir Min."
It only confused them even more to think what Jimin meant by that.
Jimin smiles to himself as he tries hard to stay silent.
No one in the office knows about their relationship. And neither does anyone knows he and Yoongi are basically married for years now with a son and a second child on their way.
Jimin thought their matching rings and their mixed scents would make people know about their relationship but clearly the people in the office are too dumb in the love field.
" Jimin ah."
Yoongi comes hurrying out of his cabin as he hears his husband's voice. The employees gets aside to let Yoongi easily find his way to Jimin.
" Appa! "
Yoonjun finally comes out from behind Jimin and runs towards his dad to hug him. Yoongi bent down a little and wrapped his arms around Yoonjun. The boy has grown up so much that Yoongi now can't easily pick the boy up in his arms.
" Hey buddy."
Yoongi strokes his son's cheek lovingly as both of them look at each other with their identical smiles. And as if Jimin hasn't already given the employees a brainstorm, this whole scene just added more to it.
Most of the employees knew that Yoongi had a son, but no one has ever thought that the omega parent of Yoongi's son would be none other than Jimin.
This whole time they thought Jimin and Yoongi had some kind of rivalry going on between them only to find out they were married with a son.
" Why didn't you inform me before coming here? "
Yoongi asks Yoonjun, to which the boy looks at Jimin and giggles. He was the one who suggested not telling Yoongi so he can get a nice surprise by them suddenly showing up.
" We made a surprise for appa! "
Yoonjun couldn't contain his excitement anymore, so he put out the bag for Yoongi to see.
Yoongi has already seen the bag yet he waited for Yoonjun to tell him about it.
" Ah, then let's open that surprise inside appa's cabin okay? "
Yoongi got up from his squatting position and looked at his mate. He isn't angry that Jimin came here, he's angry that Jimin came all the way here when he should have been resting.
" Jimin ah, I told you not to overwork yourself. Seungho, please order a fresh apple juice and bring it to my cabin."
Yoongi puts his arm around Jimin's waist and uses the other hand to hold Yoonjun.
" Come on, you shouldn't stand for too long."
Yoongi starts pulling them inside of his cabin, Jimin shakes his head at his possessive mate. He would have liked to chat with the workers for a bit, but Yoongi wouldn't have liked that so he waved at him with a smile as he walked to Yoongi's cabin. The petrified look on all their faces made Jimin giggle so much, he was having so much watching them all like this.
" Me and papa made lunch for you."
Yoonjun hands the bag to Yoongi once they're inside his cabin. The boy looked around the huge cabin with big oogly eyes.
" That's so sweet. Thank you, my beautiful angels."
Yoongi leaned down to leave a kiss on Yoonjun's cheek and then did the same with Jimin.
" Though you could have just called me and I would have come home for lunch. Why did you bother coming all the way here? "
Yoongi's back with his worried tone and Jimin feels like a child getting scolded. Yoongi's overprotectiveness has only increased as he's expecting their second child now. Though he's not the only one, he had made Yoonjun into a mini him who's also very defensive of him.
" Because I wanted to see my husband. Can't I even visit him in his office ? "
Jimin puffs up his cheeks, he came all the way here to give Yoongi a handmade lunch that he spent hours making and yet the alpha is scolding him instead of appreciating his efforts.
" Of course you can Jimin, but your state-"
Jimin slams his hand on the arm of the sofa making Yoongi flinch while Yoonjun giggles at them while he's swinging in Yoongi's chair.
" Hyung! I'm just six months pregnant. But you treat me like I'm a porcelain doll."
Jimin puffs up his cheek and faces the other side to express his displeasure with him.
Yoongi starts to panic at that, he doesn't want to get on Jimin's bad side. He knows how moody Jimin has become all thanks to the pregnancy hormone, and it never ends well if he upsets his omega.
He puts his hands on Jimin's cheek slowly pulling his face back so that he can look at him.
" It's just because I care for you and our baby."
Yoongi's eyes reflected the same worry and Jimin's anger vanished in an instant. He understands all the worry the alpha has about him, he may think of it as Yoongi being overprotective but it's justified since he's pregnant. Of course his alpha would want his and their child's safety above anything else.
" Hyung, I understand your care but I'm capable of taking care of myself too. Don't you trust me? "
Jimin put his hand on top of Yoongi's that rested on his cheeks. He pulled them down and rested on top of his bump. His smile made Yoongi so relaxed that he wasn't mad any longer.
" I do."
Yoongi does trust Jimin, but all he wants is for omega to be more careful. He doesn't want to put any stress on Jimin and just enjoys the few months of rest he's getting since he knows how hectic their lives would be once their baby arrives.
" I thought Yoonjun would want to see your office too and I missed the atmosphere so I thought why not give you a surprise visit."
Yoonjun has told them about his wish to visit his appa's office. He has been to Taehyung's office and even a few times to Jungkook's photoshoot session and he wanted to see the place his fathers worked at too. But Yoongi and Jimin never found the perfect opportunity to do so.
" I really liked it, you both lifted up my mood."
Although he was a little worried about them, that doesn't mean he wasn't happy to see his two loves. It lifted all the work pressure off his shoulder. When Jimin used to be with him in the office, Yoongi would come into his cabin whenever he felt overworked and a single kiss from the omega would relieve all his stress.
But now he has to wait till evening to go back home to finally get the well deserved hug and kisses from Jimin. It's kinda frustrating but he can't complain as he was the one who urged Jimin to take leave from the office work and just rest at their house as they got to know about his pregnancy.
" We were successful."
Jimin puts his hand in the air for a high five and Yoonjun comes running towards him to high five him.
" Hyung, you should eat lunch now. We spent hours making it. "
Jimin and Yoonjun both look at Yoongi so intensely as if they'd eat him instead if he doesn't eat the lunch prepared by them.
" Okay, I'll bring two more plates and then we'll eat together."
" No need hyung. We will not eat."
Yoongi frowns at that, halting in his steps.
" Why? "
Jimin turns to look at Yoonjun, urging him to answer his dad.
" Papa and I are going on a lunch date with uncle gguk and uncle Tae."
" Lunch date? Without me? "
Yoongi's frown deepened.
" Because you're very busy hyung, we didn't want to bother you."
The plan was suddenly made in the morning by Taehyung himself, he said he missed his nephew and asked them to have lunch together. Since he knew that Jimin and Yoonjun would be alone for lunch anyway.
Jimin knew Yoongi wouldn't be able to join them and he didn't want alpha to feel left out, so he decided to cook for him before he and Yoonjun went for their lunch date.
Also his cooking skills are so much better now all thanks to the cooking video and his lovely husband who'd encourage him to try new dishes and would eat them even if the taste wasn't the best.
" Don't frown like that, you look like a cute baby."
Jimin adds as he starts to pull Yoongi's adorable cheeks, the alpha acts like he doesn't like that but he's soon all blushy and smiley.
" If you want we can reschedule lunch to another day."
Jimin suggests seeing how left out Yoongi feels, but the alpha is quick to ditch his sad act after hearing that. He doesn't want Jimin to cancel his plans because of him. He knows Jimin has been so bored being alone at the house, so he thinks it's a nice idea that he goes out though he would have liked it more if he could accompany them too.
" No need. You both enjoy today, and we'll have another one on my day off."
Yoongi runs his hands through Jimin's hair that has grown longer, much like his. Thanks to Yoonjun since the boy was the one who said they'd look good with long hair. He likes to run his hands in his father's hair while he's falling asleep.
" Okay."
Jimin smiles at the idea, he'd like to go on a family date too.
" Should I send someone to drop you off ?"
Yoongi gets up from his sitting position, looking at the time.
" Hyung, I can drive."
Jimin says to which Yoongi is ready to disagree but the stern look on Jimin's face makes him shut up easily.
" Okay, okay. But be careful."
" I will."
" Jun ah, give me an energy booster! "
He gets down to catch his son in his arms, it shocks him how much he has grown over the years. He misses the time when he was able to pick up Yoonjun in one swing. Now he thinks he needs to start working out to pick the boy again like that.
" Thanks, appa feels much better."
Yoongi smiles after separating from the hug, Yoonjun also gives him an extra kiss on his forehead that he has often seen him doing. He's turning into a mini Yoongi nowadays, always copying him.
" What about me? "
Jimin whines with a pout on his face, feeling left out. But soon his husband and son rushes to his side to make that go away.
Rather than how Jimin used to be crushed between them before, now they hug him as lightly as possible. And during the hug both of their hands reach to his protruding belly, engulfing the baby in their family hug too. It warms Jimin's heart so much.
" Soon there would be three energizers."
Yoongi rubs a hand over Jimin's bump feeling a fluttering movement against the palm of his hand. It made him smile even wider.
" I know you can't wait to meet us, we can't wait to meet you either, especially your big brother."
He turns to Yoonjun who has his face buried in Jimin's chest while his hands are wrapped around his belly.
" Yes! I want to meet the baby soon."
He says excitedly, he leans down in his hugging position to rest his cheek against Jimin's bump instead, it makes him giggle when he feels the fluttering movements too. The otherwise calm baby gets really active once they feel Yoonjun or Yoongi's touch.
Jimin thinks it's the same as how Yoonjun reacted too. The child would only make small movements until Yoongi would lay his hands on his belly or talk to it, after that the baby wouldn't calm down unless Yoongi sang the lullaby to him.
" Gotta wait three more months."
Jimin fondly caresses Yoonjun's cheek that looks more round because of being squished onto his bump. Seeing Yoonjun being so fond of his bump always makes him so happy, he knows his boy is gonna be a great brother.
The sweet moment was interrupted between them when Jimin felt the soft ringtone of his phone go off. Soft piano melodies are what he listens to nowadays because the baby likes that, he stumbled across it accidentally one day and found that the child likes it since then he's been using them in the background no matter what he's doing. It's very calming.
" Here, your uncle Tae is calling. Probably to ask why we're not there yet."
Jimin hands over the phone to Yoonjun because he's not in the mood to hear the whines from Taehyung right now.
" Be careful, okay."
Yoongi says again as opens the door for the two to leave.
" You're saying that for the second time."
Yoongi only smiles in acknowledgement at that, he knows he's gotten overprotective and there's nothing really he can do about it.
" Take care my babies."
Yoongi gives both of them a quick forehead kiss while standing on the threshold, since the door was open all the employees start to steal glances at them to confirm if this was all real.
" Come back home in time, we'll miss you."
Jimin says as he runs one of his hands on Yoongi's hairs and starts to brush them.
" I will."
Yoongi brought Jimin's hand from his hairs to his lips and left a soft peck on them.
" Papa hurry! "
Yoonjun yells not being able to control the urge of meeting his two uncles.
" Jun ah, no running for your papa."
Yoongi says in a strict tone. Yoonjun bites his tongue at that, remembering what his appa has told him.
" Then papa don't hurry, we'll walk slowly."
Yoonjun goes back to hold Jimin's hand. The other workers silently coo at them. Surely they have known that Yoongi had a son but they have never known his son was so adorable.
" Yeah, that's good."
Yoongi gave him a thumbs up at that, he knows he can trust Jimin with Yoonjun. He may be a child but he can be really protective when it comes to his papa. It makes him think that Yoonjun is going to present as an alpha because of his nature. But they don't care about his sub gender, they'll still love him the same even if he's an omega or a beta.
" Jun ah! "
Taehyung jumps out of his seat and rushes to hug Yoonjun just as he sees the boy coming into the room.
" Uncle Tae! "
Yoonjun giggles when he's swept off his feets and swirled around just as he steps inside. He buries his head into Taehyung's chest as his uncle smothers his face with kisses.
" My baby is finally here, I missed you so much."
Taehyung cradles Yoonjun in his arms like a baby, and although Yoonjun might otherwise whine that he's not a baby, he doesn't do that with Taehyung. He lets his uncle pepper him like he's a little child, he enjoys that, though only with his uncle Tae.
" You just had a sleepover last week."
Jimin says as he rolls his eyes, Taehyung and Yoonjun always behave the same like they're meeting each other after many months or something but in reality they couldn't go even a week before seeing each other.
Either taehyung would drop by their house unannounced or he'd take Yoonjun from school and only send a selfie to Jimin as a way to inform him. And when Taehyung is particularly busy with work some days, Yoonjun would send him videos of him being sulky and then Taehyung would show up at their home in a span of a few minutes. That's just how whipped he is.
" A week is a long time."
Taehyung says as his and Yoonjun's faces are smothered together. Jimin has never thought that his son and his best friend would end up being so clingy like this.
" Guess your papa is mad that I didn't miss him."
Taehyung puts down Yoonjun to move towards Jimin. He tried to hug Jimin but the omega kept dodging him until Taehyung made a sad face and Jimin had to lose to him again. He doesn't know if Taehyung is a bad influence on Yoonjun or if Yoonjun is a bad influence on Taehyung.
" Come here my big baby! "
Taehyung says as he wraps his arms around Jimin, he has his lower body positioned away from Jimin so he won't squish the baby between their not so gentle hug.
Once he's done greeting his best friend he moves towards the baby no. 2.
" Ow, hello there little baby. Uncle missed you too."
He crouches down to reach the bumps height and pat it lightly.
" But the baby didn't miss you."
Jimin says, folding his hands, he feels like his best friend only called him here so he could talk to his babies, not to him.
" Baby, don't become a meanie like your papa, okay? Be like your brother, he's a sweetheart."
He says and then looks back to see Yoonjun blowing a kiss his way. Taehyung raised his arm to act like he caught the kiss.
" If you have forgotten he's my son too."
Taehyung acts like he didn't hear that statement.
In between their friendly banter, one person kept on giggling from far, behind and captured all the moment in his phone's camera.
Once Yoonjun heard those familiar giggles he went from Taehyung's side to meet his other uncle.
" Uncle ggukie! "
He runs towards him but gradually slows down as he gets near to him. Instead of how he used to jump on Jungkook before this time he gently wraps his arms around Jungkook's lower half like his papa has told him too.
" Junie! "
Jungkook caresses Yoonjun's hair and places a sweet kiss on the top of his head.
Yoonjun looks up at him and smiles before his eyes goes to his baby bump that was still small as compared to Jimin's but it was there.
" Hello baby bear, how are you? "
He put his palm to Jungkook's belly and rubbed it, if waving at the baby.
" Baby bear is good, bear missed you so much."
Jungkook puts his hand on top of Yoonjun's small one. It makes his heart so full to see how his unborn child is already so loved by everyone. Especially by their big brother Yoonjun.
" I missed bear too."
Yoonjun rubs his face on the belly, he and Taehyung has decided to call the baby, bear until it is finally here. It's their nickname for the time being.
" Have bear started to move? "
Yoobjun has been waiting to feel bear's movement too, like he does with his baby but Jungkook's still in his early months so there's no baby movement yet.
" Not now, it'll take one more month to feel the baby's movement."
Taehyung says as he puts his hand on Jungkook's back. Just like Yoonjun he can't wait to feel his baby's movement too. He thinks he won't stop feeling Jungkook's tummy after that.
" Jungkook ah, how's your morning sickness nowadays? "
Jimin asks once they've all settled down onto the comfortable couch, since it's hard for Jimin to sit too long on a chair nowadays and Taehyung has kept that in mind so he booked the table with the sofa seat, so he wouldn't be uncomfortable. Taehyung always love and cares for Jimin so much even though he doesn't express it much and annoys him most of the time.
It reminds Jimin of the time he announced his pregnancy to Taehyung.
Jimin was already in his second month when they came to know about the big news. He was way too busy with work and Yoonjun to notice the signs before Yoongi pointed out how he smelled different and everything started making sense after that.
Jimin wanted to tell the news to Taehyung that very day he got to know but the latter was on his late honeymoon and wouldn't come home for a whole month after that.
He and Jungkook got married four months ago but Jungkook's and Taehyung's schedules were busy and they only got to go on their honeymoon right now.
Jimin was very desperate to share this news with his best friend since he wasn't able to do the same the first time. But he didn't want it to be on a call, he wanted to do it face to face. So he could see the happiness spreading on Taehyung's face as he revealed the news to him.
So, he waited a whole month for him to come back home and share the news. By that time he already had a slight baby bump.
His excitement was at such a high level that just asking he opened the door and saw Taehyung there, he threw himself in his arms and whisper yelled at him 'You're gonna be an uncle again '
And well that's not exactly how Taehyung was thinking he'd get welcomed. And it was completely unexpected given that he was just gonna use the same line on Jimin.
He and Jungkook had found half way through their trip that they were expecting a baby too, and just like Jimin, Taehyung waited to be face to face with Jimin before telling the news that he was gonna have a baby.
But just as the words settled and Taehyung finally registered it, he started jumping in happiness too. The two friend hugged like that for a long time before Taehyung whispered
'you're gonna be an uncle too '
And that's when all hell breaks loose, Jimin let out a loud gasp and a big ass 'no way'. In a minute he shoved Taehyung away from there and went towards Jungkook instead, wrapping him in his arms gently and congratulating him.
Seeing Taehyung dejected in the corner, Yoongi came up to him and gave him a pat.
" Welcome to the father's club."
" Thanks hyung."
Taehyung smiled as he hugged Yoongi, being a parent is a difficult journey but he thinks he and Jungkook would be just alright having Yoongi and Jimin by their side to guide him.
Once the initial excitement settles down then it dawned on Jimin and Taehyung how their babies would be born two months apart from each other just like them. It was a fascinating coincidence, and they were sure their babies were going to be best friends just like them.
" It's going away now, but it's still hard to eat some of my previous favorite dishes."
Jungkook says with a pout, before he used to eat ramen whenever he was hungry but now even the smell of it makes him puke. It's the hardest part of pregnancy, he couldn't even travel far for his photoshoot since his nausea became severe, some days it was hard to keep even water down.
" That's the most annoying part. Not being able to eat your favorite food and then to puke all your guts out."
Jimin sympathizes with him knowing the feeling well after all he has gone through it two times. But compared to his pregnancy with Yoonjun he thinks it's less severe this time. He can't eat too many flavourful foods but simple and dry flavored things are fine.
" I would have gone through it instead of you if I could."
Taehyung says taking Jungkook's hand in his. He has seen his mate suffer during all that time and he felt so helpless not being able to help him in any way.
" Gguk ah, your alpha is so cheesy."
Jimin scrunches his nose at the affectionate couple. Just looking at them made him crave for his alpha too. He has been extra needy for Yoongi ever since the beginning of his pregnancy.
He was much needier at Yoonjun's time, maybe because it was his first time but right now he's much calmer and can control his needs.
" You're saying as if Yoongi hyung wouldn't have done the same if it was possible."
Taehyung says, making Jimin turn away shyly. Of course, Yoongi would have done that. He couldn't see Jimin suffering.
Even when he was dealing with morning sickness, Yoongi would always be there for him rubbing his back, holding his head and bringing a glass of warm tea for his stomach. And on days when Jimin would feel extra tired, Yoongi would be the one to get Yoonjun ready and even cook for them, he didn't let Jimin take a step out of his room during those days. His alpha is really really whipped for him and it shows clearly in his actions.
" How's hyung doing by the way? "
Jungkook asks about Yoongi, he has been so busy with his in-laws these days that he didn't have much time to pay a visit to the Min household.
Jimin lets out a long sigh at the question.
" He's so busy nowadays, he rarely has time for me and Junie."
He looks at Yoonjun with a pout and the boy nods at his papa's claim. He misses spending time with his father too.
" Guess he changed after marriage."
Taehyung says with a sarcastic smile making Jimin frown more.
" Not me though, my first priority is still my babies."
He says and then snuggles his face in the crook of Jungkook's neck.
Jimin rolls his eyes at that, crossing his arms in front. He knows Taehyung is being extra loving just to make him jealous. But he doesn't want to give in so easily, he just saw Yoongi a few minutes ago.
" Jungkook ah, how is it living with your in-laws? "
Jimin changes the topic, deciding to act like Taehyung is invisible to him.
" I can't have my baby with me all the time now."
There Taehyung goes again with his lovey-dovey act. Usually it's the omegas that become more clingy during pregnancy but in their case it's Taehyung who acts like he'd die if he gets separated from Jungkook for even a second.
" Hyung, no one is taking me from you."
Jungkook tries to unlatch himself from Taehyung's hold but the alpha doesn't budge. If anything, it only made him tighten his hold more, his hand rubbing gently over his little baby bump.
" But you give more attention to my parents and noona than you give to me."
Taehyung pouts, he actually thinks it was much better when he hadn't introduced Jungkook to his family. Because from the very day he did that his family snatched Jungkook away from him. They treat Jungkook like their baby while he's treated as an outcast.
Jungkook finally turns around done with Taehyung's tantrums and gives him an intense glare which makes the alpha retreat quickly. He started getting all sulky feeling like a dejected puppy.
" Yoonjun ah, give me some attention."
Yoonjun let out a little giggle before going to hug his uncle. The two omega gave them a side eye before getting back to their business.
" They don't even let me get up for a glass of water. I feel like I'm getting chubbier, not because of the baby but because of not doing anything."
Jungkook whines about his inability to move even a foot. Even though he likes that they all care about him so much he thinks it's getting a little too much sometimes.
" Mom keeps on taking me shopping for the baby, she has already filled a whole closet full of baby clothes. I think me and hyung wouldn't need to buy anything for a whole year or two."
He sometimes sits back down and thinks about how his life has changed so much. Before which what used to be the size of his wardrobe was now half the size of what his unborn baby's closet is.
" Dad has given me a lot of tips on how to deal with his mood swings. He said he used the same tricks on mom when she was pregnant with me."
Taehyung adds from behind, his dad's tricks are actually work. Like that one time when Jungkook was mad at him for no reason so he called his dad up who advised him to get Jungkook a cake. And Taehyung did that and it surprisingly worked. Jungkook's mood changed a whole 360° once he plops down the cake on his lap.
" And noona has brought so many toys for the baby."
Jungkook starts to get hazy just by thinking about the boxes that has, piled up in their house.
" Mind you the toys are something that the baby wouldn't be able to play with until they're big enough."
It was good until the toys were soft toys and teddy bears, but as the days passed by his sister started sending toys like remote control helicopters, legos, clay, origami and what not.
" They all are very excited for the first baby in the house."
Jimin says as he hears the two new parents talk. He thinks he and Yoongi were like that too during the first time. They wanted to buy everything for their baby. But this time they think more rationally than just buying everything out of impulse.
But honestly their house is in no better state, Yoongi's parents send them numerous packages every other week. Not to mention how Yoongi and Yoonjun always come back from their little shopping with something for the baby. And even his father sends him continuous gifts through Yoonjun. Their house is in a similar state as Taehyung and Jungkook's
" The food is here, let's dig in."
Taehyung says pulling Jimin out of his thoughts.
" Good, the baby was starting to get hungry."
He rubs his big belly.
" The baby or you ? "
Taehyung says in a mood of teasing his best friend to which Jimin just replied with a kick to his leg from under the table.
The two can never stop bickering, no matter how old they get. To them it doesn't matter if they're going to have kids of their own when they're with each other they become little kids, their inner child getting channeled whenever they're together.
" It was so fun today! "
Yoonjun bounces happily as they make their way out of the restaurant after their long lunch date.
" You enjoyed it? "
Taehyung asks, picking the child up in his arms. It's hard to keep Taehyung away from Yoonjun for long. They both eventually end up gravitating towards each other in the end.
" Yes, I love spending time with uncle Tae and ggukie."
He pressed a kiss on Taehyung's cheek and then did the same with Jungkook.
" We love spending time with you too."
They both replied in unison, returning his one kiss with many kisses. Which made Yoonjun become shy and bury his face in Taehyung's neck to hide his red face.
" Why don't I drop you off on the way? "
Taehyung suggests wanting to spend more time with Yoonjun.
" I brought my own car, so I'll-"
Before Jimin could continue he was cut by Yoonjun's scream.
" Appa! "
He hurriedly got out of Taehyung's hold and rushed to his father who he recognised from far away.
Yoongi lunges down when he sees Yoonjun running up to him.
" Hey buddy, enjoyed your lunch? "
He picks him up and walks over to join the rest of them.
" Hello hyung! "
Jungkook greets him, happy to see his hyung after a long time.
" You're here? But Jimin said you were busy."
Taehyung asks eyeing Jimin as if he lied to him but Jimin is just as shocked as to how yoongi is here.
" I can never be busy for my love."
Yoongi said and put his one arm around Jimin's waist while the other one held Yoonjun up in his arms.
He was restless about letting Jimin and Yoonjun be alone so he completed his work as fast as he could and came rushing here so he'd take them both back home and spend some quality time with his family.
" Ah hyung~"
Jimin suddenly got shy at his sweet talk, hiding his face with his hands to cover up the blush.
" Geez and then Jimin had the audacity to call me gross."
Taehyung says side eyeing the cheesy couple, as if he isn't exactly the same as them.
" Come on baby, let's go. Let the two lovebirds spend time alone."
Taehyung put his arm around Jungkook and pulled him closer too.
" Yoonjun ah, don't grow up to be a cheesy man like your appa."
" I'm gonna tell your baby the same thing."
Jimin screams back at the alpha with the same energy.
" There's no need for that because I'll make sure my baby will be just as sweet as me."
Taehyung continued to scream until he was shut by Jungkook smacking him and pulling him to his car.
Yoongi and Jimin laugh watching the scene, thinking about how perfectly Taehyung and Jungkook just fit with each other.
Once they reached their house, Yoongi was quick to run to the kitchen and bring a glass of water for Jimin. The omega looked at him and gave him a smile before taking the glass.
His back hurts from sitting all day long and Yoongi observes that, he puts his hand on his back and starts to guide him upstairs to where their room was.
Yoonjun has already fallen asleep on their bed after changing into his home clothes. The child likes to spend more time in his parents room than his own, he likes to be surrounded by his fathers.
" You should lay down too."
Yoongi says as he scoops Yoonjun a little to his side to give Jimin the space that he needs to lie down comfortably.
But there's no benefit of pulling Yoonjun away because once Jimin lays down next to yoonjun, he snuggles closer to him, more like he was hugging his belly. It was his newly found habit of sleeping while hugging Jimin's baby bump, he says it feels good because that way he can be close with the baby.
" He's already so whipped for the baby."
Yoongi says with a smile as he sees Yoonjun clinging more to Jimin, it's like the boy wants to protect his papa and sibling even when he's sleeping.
" My baby would be such a great big brother."
Jimin ruffles his hairs fondly before peppering his chubby cheeks with wet kisses. His heart is filled with so much love seeing Yoonjun being so caring about his unborn sibling.
This was something that seemed like a dream to him a few years ago. But now it's a reality, he has his alpha here with him and they even have children together, a handsome son and another one on the way.
Jimin has always talked to Yoongi about wanting a big family, even when they just started dating. He was afraid it'd freak Yoongi out but the alpha was always happy to indulge in his family talk.
Since they both were single children they were able to relate about how lonely they felt because of having no one around to play with. He didn't want Yoonjun to feel that way too so he and Yoongi decided to think about a second child after being married for a year. But they thought to ask Yoonjun about it first, because the child has never talked about wanting to have a sibling and they wanted to see if Yoonjun would be okay with that or not.
So, one afternoon while they were watching Yoonjun's favorite movie together on their couch Yoongi finally decided to initiate the conversation.
" Jun ah, what do you think about wanting a sibling? "
Yoonjun stops watching the movie when he hears the question being directed towards him.
" A sibling? " He mimics his father's words, blinking softly.
He turns to look at Jimin, confused with it.
" Yeah, don't you want a little baby to play with?"
Jimin says with a big smile, trying to push the idea through him. But while he and Yoongi had smiles on their faces Yoonjun had a frown.
" Baby? "
He repeated and looked at his parents who were looking at him patiently for an answer.
" No, Junie doesn't want a baby."
He announces, shocking his parents. They didn't think that Yoonjun would react this way, if anything they expected him to be excited about it.
" But why ? "
Yoongi asks coming out of the shock first.
" No! "
The boy said loudly before jumping out of his parents grasp.
" Jun ah! "
Jimin extended his arm to hold onto his son but Yoonjun managed to run away from his hold to his room.
" Jimin ah, I'll go talk to him."
Yoongi got up, ready to go but was stopped by jimin softly tugging on his shirt.
" Hyung, you don't have to pressurize him into something he doesn't want."
Even though Jimin really wanted to have another baby, he would never do something that was against Yoonjun's wish. And if his son didn't want that then Jimin was okay with abandoning the idea of having a second child. To him, Yoonjun was more than enough.
" I won't. I'll just talk to him about why he feels that way."
Yoongi put his hand on Jimin's shoulder and gave it a squeeze. He was on the same page with Jimin. He knows making a decision like this against Yoonjun's wish could turn out wrong in the long run. So, he would never do something like that but he just wanted to know what went through his son's head to make him act so repulsive to the thought.
" Okay."
Jimin takes his hand back, sunking down on the couch as he watches Yoongi heading upstairs into Yoonjun's room.
" Jun ah."
He knocks on the door lightly, even if it was already ajar. Yoonjun never closed the door to his room when he was alone inside, he felt scared that way.
" Baby, can I come in? "
Yoongi waited outside until he heard the confirmation from inside. If he had just barged inside it'd have only complicated the situation.
" Yes appa."
" Were you crying baby? Why?"
Yoongi takes a seat on the side of the bed, seeing the faint tear stains on his son's cheek.
" You can tell appa what you feel. We're best friends after all."
He pulled Yoonjun closer to him and neither did the boy push him back, instead he pushed his face in his dad's chest and heaved loudly.
" You don't want a baby? "
Yoonjun shook his head to that, choosing to communicate with actions rather than words.
" Why, baby? What is the reason? "
Yoongi waits for Yoonjun to open up but the words never come from the child's mouth. His head still buried in his father's chest, he resisted even looking up. And Yoongi understood that he didn't want to elaborate his feelings.
" Me and your papa thought you'd feel lonely while we're at work so we thought about having another baby to keep you company."
Yoonjun shook his head violently to that, despising even the idea of it.
" No, Junie doesn't feel lonely."
Yoongi sighs, he wants to hear the reason behind it but sometimes it's hard to get an answer from a child when they're not in the mood to tell anyone. If you force them to do so it'll only ruin things more.
" Jun ah, do you feel like appa and papa will forget you if we have another baby? "
Yoonjun doesn't say anything to that, he just holds Yoongi more tightly.
" You know, no one can ever take your place baby."
Yoongi started stroking his head lightly and gently in a calming way.
" You're our first child. Our yoonjun made us understand the meaning behind the word parents. You made us the happiest person alive on earth with your arrival."
He doesn't have an idea about such things because he was an only child, but some of his friends have mentioned to him how they felt neglected when their siblings were born. So, Yoongi came to the conclusion that yoonjun might be having the same fear, but he's there to assure him that nothing will change their love for him.
" Having another baby doesn't mean we will love you any less. Parents have an unlimited amount of love to give their children. We would never let our love compromise for you even if we have another baby."
He rocks his little body lightly, along with the wind that comes through the window.
" Your papa and I respect your decision. If you don't want a sibling it's okay. You're enough for us."
To them Yoonjun's happiness is what matters the most. They love him so much that they'd easily let go of their own wishes for their child. That's just how pure a parent's love is.
" Now stop crying or your papa will get worried."
He separates yoonjun from the hug and cups his little face in his hand, wiping the forming tears.
" Good boy. Now, let's head downstairs and complete the movie."
He gave him a kiss on the temple before picking him up in his arms and bringing him down to the living room where an anxious Jimin was waiting for them.
Once Jimin saw Yoonjun he took him from yoongi's arms and snuggled him close in his arms, using his free hand to tickle the baby until he burst into loud laughter, bringing a smile on Yoongi and Jimin's face too.
After that the topic was never brought up ever again in the Min household. Yoongi and Jimin were busy with their work and the thought had already slipped off their minds, they had decided not to try for another child after Yoonjun's reaction. After all Yoonjun was the main reason they wanted to have another baby but if yoonjun was against it they didn't see any good in it.
It was about three months from then on when yoonjun did something that left both of his parents surprised. They were in their bedrooms reading some office related documents when Yoonjun came into their room.
" Jun ah? You want to sleep with us tonight? "
Yoongi quickly collects all the paper that was scattered on the bed and made a place for the child to sleep.
" Come here, baby."
Jimin pats the empty spot, and yoonjun wiggle his way there. His hands were already busy with one hand holding his favorite plushie and the other one holding a paper sheet.
" Why are you holding this paper? "
Yoongi asks.
" Junie made this today."
The boy said with a little giggle before he opened the paper to show the drawing that he had made.
" This-"
Jimin gasps as he looks at the drawing. Yoonjun has made four figures. Two tall of the same height. And one of a medium height while the last one was smaller than all of them. Each one had a name tag above their head that read 'Appa, Papa, Junie and Baby '
Both of them were so shocked with the drawing that none of them said anything so yoonjun decided to break the silence himself.
" Junie wants a sibling. Junie wants to be a big brother."
He says putting his fist to his chest.
" R-really? "
Jimin asks with teary eyes, he never thought yoonjun would ask for a sibling by himself.
Yoonjun nodded his head and fell into Jimin's arms.
" Oh, baby."
Jimin sniffles lightly on yoonjun's back while hugging him and Yoongi soon joined their hug.
" Junie would be such a good brother."
Yoongi whispered in between the hug and both Jimin and Yoonjun nodded to it.
" Junie would be the best brother."
" Yes baby. You would be."
Jimin laughed with the tears falling off his eyes.
" Why are you smiling? "
Yoongi asks, watching Jimin who had this big smile on his face. The omega didn't reply, he placed a long kiss on top of his son's head, caressing his hair gently.
" I'm just thinking how lucky I'm."
He says heaving out a relieved sigh, he's thankful that he has Yoongi and Yoonjun by his side, he could have never came so far without them.
" I've such a perfect son and a perfect husband."
He uses his one hand to play with their marriage ring on Yoongi's finger. His chest fills up with pride when he looks over at his matching ring, he still can't believe that he's really married to Yoongi.
" Pregnancy is making you very sentimental."
Yoongi interlocks his hand with Jimin and brings it up to his lips to leave a sweet kiss. Surely, the pregnancy hormones had made Jimin a bit more emotional. He's sometimes extra cranky or sometimes too sentimental.
" Yeah, I think that's the reason."
Jimin acknowledged it with a laugh. He might have not accepted it during yoonjun's time because that was his first time so he was not so aware of these changes but this time he's fully aware after experiencing it once.
" But you aren't the only lucky one."
Yoongi says, looking into Jimin's eyes.
" Me and Yoonjun and our little bean are lucky to have you in our lives too."
He sees the way Jimin's cheeks rise up a little higher to form a sweet smile, his eyes closing all the way because of the butterflies that Yoongi just gave him.
" Hyung, why are you being so cheesy?"
Jimin uses his hand to lightly push yoongi away but that only made the alpha bring himself closer to him.
" Your love made me like this."
Yoongi whispers, in his deep sexy voice, one that he knows Jimin finds particularly attractive.
Jimin's eyes go wide for a second before he starts to laugh. Yoongi doesn't understand what's so funny until Jimin puts his palm on his bump where he could feel his little baby kicking quite ferociously.
" Even the baby didn't like it."
" No, baby liked it, that's why they're kicking."
Yoongi says with a huff. Glaring at jimin's bump with a fake annoyance like he was angry with the baby.
" No-"
" Appa, papa, baby wants to sleep."
From between them yoonjun starts to stir up, turning to face Yoongi and burying his face in Yoongi's chest now.
" Sorry, baby. Jimin ah don't scream."
Yoongi wraps his arms around him instantly, smiling widely when yoonjun hugged him back tighter.
" But-"
Yoongi puts his finger on Jimin's lips to silence him.
" Shh, let's sleep. I've to drop yoonjun at his harabeoji's house tomorrow."
Yoongi reminds him, tomorrow is one of the days where he takes Yoonjun to meet Jihoon. Yoongi drops yoonjun at the park mansion on the second Saturday so he could spend some time with his grandfather. And it makes yoonjun happy so jimin doesn't complain about it. His son's happiness matters the most to him. And whenever yoonjun tell him how much fun he had with his grandfather, jimin's heart melts a little bit for him. Yoonjun acts as the link that's bringing Jihoon and Yoonjun closer again.
" Ah it's tomorrow? I forgot."
Jimin made an o shape with his mouth, since he's mostly home now it had made him forget the dates and days. It's a good thing he doesn't need to pack anything, since Yoonjun has his own room full of clothes and toys in his father's house.
" Don't worry, I'll always be here to remind you."
Yoongi doesn't waste the opportunity to change it into one of his cheesy lines.
" I know."
" Now sleep, my baby must be tired."
He caresses jimin's head lovingly, he couldn't wait for the arrival of their second baby. He wishes that this baby would take after Jimin more since many people said Yoonjun looks a copy of his so he'd want a copy of Jimin too.
" You know I can't sleep like this."
Jimin says with a pout, he has developed a weird habit nowadays. He can't fall asleep until Yoongi hums a song.
" Demanding."
Yoongi chuckles but soon starts to hum Jimin a song, one arm wrapped around Yoonjun and the other placed on Jimin's bump to pat it lightly so the baby won't feel left out.
" Good night angels."
Yoongi whispers once he notices how Jimin has already fallen asleep. He brings his hand up to caress his chubby cheeks, smiling widely as he's filled with love and warmth looking at his husband and child.
