The concert went smoothly.
During two days in Japan, the manager of Twice and Red Velvet met Taehyung several times to apologized.
They asked him if he can reconsider his decision. But the man remains firm in his stance.
"If you were me, you get insulted like that, what would you do?" the managers can't answer, because in fact they also can't justify the actions of their Idol.
Some artist already goes back to Korea, others choose to stay. Either for holiday or for another schedule.
Taehyung and Soojung decide to go back the day after.
Currently, Taehyung and Soojung are having breakfast at the Hotel restaurant. They will visit several tourist attractions afterwards.
"I don't know you're such a heartless man," Soojung said jokingly while drinking her morning coffee
"Said the one who's going to make them bald"
"Well, that's a different story. By the way, you're not forgetting that I'm also working under SM Entertainment, right?"
"Nope"
"How can I face my Boss?" Soojung said. She lay her head on the table.
"Just face him. What's so difficult about that" Taehyung just shrugged
"Yah Kim Taehyung, ... " Soojung going to rant at Taehyung but she got cut by a coughing sound from the man who stands beside them
Jeon Jungkook.
Awkward. There is no other word that can describe the current situation besides being awkward.
Jungkook's eyes meet with Soojung's, and it's really awkward.
The situation is like 'You and your friend both have a crush on the same person. You know that your friend loves him more, loves him longer, but your crush chooses you to have a date with. And coincidentally, when you're having your date, you meet with your friend.' Uncomfortable.
"Oh, Hi Jungkook" Soojung tried her best to look normal even though her heart is broken. For her, there is nothing worse than loving someone who loves someone else. And that someone else is now standing in front of you.
"Hi, Soojung. Hi, Taehyung"
"What are you doing here?" She asked. While Taehyung tried his best to not involved in the conversation.
"We decided to stay another three days for vacation."
"Oh really? You must be happy. So, where are the other members?"
"They already left."
"Then why you still here?" Soojung asked even though she already knew the answer
"Can I talk to Taehyung?"
"I guess you can. Please sit down."
"I'm sorry, But I mean just the two of us. Me and Taehyung."
"Oh." Can you hear that? The breaking sound of Soojung's heart
"Didn't I already said that ... "
"You're going to kill me? Yeah, you did. You already said that. But let me said something first before you kill me." Jungkook look at Taehyung is so sincere
"There is nothing to talk about, Kook"
"Don't try to avoid reality, Tae"
Soojung stands up ready to leave but Taehyung halted her.
"You're not going anywhere."
"Yes, I do. Both of you need to talk from heart to heart" Soojung said sternly
"No."
"Please stop being so stubborn, Tae. I know you've got hurt before, and it's really bad. You suffer so much, you go through a lot of painful experience. I know. But you're not the only one. Jungkook is hurting too. Even though your pain is worse, it doesn't mean that the other pain is not significant."
With that Soojung left the two males. As much as it hurts, she needs to do this. Because she knows that she doesn't stand a chance against Jungkook.
Right from the start, she doesn't even have the chance.
"What are you going to say? If you're going to talk about ... "
"the past then you're not going to listen." Jungkook smiles. And Taehyung really hates that. He doesn't want to see those smile, because his heart is gradually going soft for that bunny-smile.
"Great if you already knew that." Taehyung tried to give his best demeanour.
"Indeed I'm here not going to talk about the past. I'm going to talk about the future"
Taehyung choked on his coffee.
"As you said, there is no use for us to talk about the past. No matter how much we talked about it, nothing will change. No matter how much I said sorry, it can't cure the wound you received. Even a billion of sorry not enough to express my guilt."
"So, your point is?"
"I want to have a future with you. You're my future. I don't have any future if it's not you. Give me a second chance Tae."
"No, I can't give you that."
"Why?"
"It's impossible for me to do so."
"I promise that I'll never make the same mistake. I promise that I will protect you, take care of you, and love you for the rest of my life."
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"I will never hurt you again. I will always be by your side." Jungkook pleading desperately
"As I recall, the last time you promised to stay beside me, instead you left me cruelly. How can I trust the same promise? I'm not that stupid, Kook." and these words stab a knife on Jungkook's already wounded heart.
And Jungkook can say nothing in defence.
"I'm sorry. Back then I didn't know how to love you properly, I didn't know how to hold you warmly. And I really regret it. This regret and guilt are eating me alive. I know you might hate me. And I'll do everything for you to forgive me. I'll do everything so you can give me a second chance. If I should cry, beg, and kneel down in front of you, I'll do that.
You're my all, Tae. Believe me. What I'm living for, if you're not with me. Without You, I can't even smile. I can do nothing. I'm nothing without you. Please give me a second chance to prove everything. To prove that I really love you." Jungkook takes Taehyung's hands and held it tightly.
"I used to think that you are my love, my everything. I believed that you would be my last love. I love you to the extent that you probably have no idea of. Guess I'm wrong. You said you'll love me, protect me, stand by me, but it's all lies. You've hurt me and left me crying. You took away my entire heart, my love, and my life. Now, What am I supposed to do if you're begging like this?" Taehyung said with tears rolling.
They lost in each other eyes.
"Would you really do anything in exchange of a second chance?"
"Yes"
"Really?"
Jungkook nod. He still holds Taehyung's hand
"Then would you meet my parents?"
"Yes, I would."
"Even if you have to meet them now?"
"As I said, I'll do anything."
"Then grab your passport. I'll bring you to meet them."
Jungkook then backs to his room. Takes his passport and some clothes. He explains briefly to Namjoon and Yoongi, and they wish him luck.
Meanwhile, Taehyung also grabs his back and tell Soojung that he needs to go back to Germany.

During the 14 hour trip to Germany, they said nothing. They somehow enjoy the comfortable silence between them.
"We arrived," was the first-word Taehyung said when they arrived at their destination.
Jungkook gets out of the car and looked around. Even after a good minutes pass, he still looked around in confusion.
"Tae."
"Hmm"
"Why do you bring me here?"
"Didn't you said that you want to meet my parents?"
