Taehyung approaches. Cup Jungkook's face in both hands. He approached and continued to approach until finally, his lips touched Jungkook's forehead.
He kissed Jungkook warmly
"Forgive me for being imperfect for you. It's finished. An incomplete story for us to remember."
Taehyung pulls away, ready to lose the warmth that engulfed his body.
It turns out he's wrong. Instead of leaving, Jungkook gently leans in and kisses Taehyung's plump lips.
The said male is taken aback. His mind roared for him to stay away, but in the end, he followed his heart to 'drown' into the kiss.
After a good few seconds, they pull apart and take shaky, shallow breaths. Unable to contain themselves anymore, Jungkook holds Taehyung's head in his hands and pulls him into a fiery and passionate kiss.
Even though he doesn't want to, Jungkook pulls away before he loses control. He nuzzled Taehyung's neck. He whispers
"Do you really think that I will leave you? That I will give up to fight for you? Don't underestimate me, Kim Taehyung. My love for you is way greater than that."
Taehyung strokes Jungkook's hair
"But you have left me. how do you expect me to believe that you won't leave me again?"
Jungkook stares at Taehyung's eyes, with his own which hold a thousand guilt there.
"That's the biggest mistake I've ever do. I know that my sorry doesn't fix the heartbreak I have caused, maybe for you, my sorry is just a word. Therefore, let my action speak. Give me a second chance, Tae. I'll be there for you in every step you make, in every breath you take. I'll prove to you that I am always yours, and I'll love you all my life."
And Taehyung feels a very great vacillation. By the kiss, he knows that Jungkook means it. He can feel how much his ex-lover loves him and yearn for him. And in all honesty, he feels the same. He really misses the raven haired man. But his consciousness is well aware that he must stay away from the man he loves. Because there is no good things would happen if they stay together. Their love will only bring tragedy.
"Second chance?"
"Yes. Please give me a second chance Tae"
"No. I can't give it to you. What is lost is lost" Taehyung looked away from Jungkook, or he would melt in those beautiful eyes.
"I love you. I miss you" Jungkook kisses the back of Taehyung's hand
"To be brutally honest, I do miss you too. But it doesn't mean that I'm coming back to you. The day you left without saying farewell, everything's over. It's too late if you asked for a second chance now." Taehyung tried to pull his hand from Jungkook's hold. He tried. But of course, he can't win against the muscle bunny's strength.
"Tae, please," Jungkook begged.
"Didn't I ever promise you that once I settled down on my work and finance, I'll take you away from Korea. We'll live in a place where there are no homophobic people around. I'll take you to every place you want. Anywhere together, without a care in the world. We're going to freely hold hands in public, linking arms, going to cinema, restaurant, walking in the park or in the beach, just as you want. Do you remember I promised you that?"
Taehyung just kept quiet. He remembered. Of course, he remembered. There wasn't a single moment with Jungkook that he forgot.
"At least, allow me to fulfil my promise to you"
"Isn't that the same as you asking for a second chance?" Taehyung looks at him in disbelieve.
"Well, yeah." Jungkook rub his nape sheepishly
"No matter what you called it, the point is I still love you. This malicious fortune has had us separate. No, it's my damn ego and my fucking pride who separate us. But, you need to know that I Still Want You. I want to prove that I regret everything. I want to fix everything. I want to show the world how much I love you. I come out to my parents that I was gay. That's because I don't want anyone to stop me from being with you."
Jungkook waits for an answer from Taehyung, but the man doesn't respond at all. Finally, with a heavy heart, he released his grip on Taehyung's hand and stood to leave the red-haired male sitting on the ground.
'Yes, go away. Go leave me. That's much better. ' Taehyung thought.
But he was wrong.
Jungkook kneels in front of Taehyung's parents' graves.
"Hello sir, ma'am. I'm Jeon Jungkook. The man who really loves your son. I really love him very much. But I had made a big mistake by hurting him terribly. You already know what crime I have committed. And I'm sure both of you will never forgive me. I also hated myself for doing so many bad things during the time I was dating Taehyung, even until now I still hurt him. I know I'm really shameless and selfish, but please allow me to stay with Taehyung. I really love him more than anything in this world." Tears began to flow from Jungkook's eyes.
"Taehyung is the answer for a guy like me. Taehyung is what I need in my miserable life. That's why, the moment I lose Taehyung in my life, I started to hate everything about the world. If I don't have him, I'll go crazy, what do I do? Right now I'm crying because I still love him. I'm on my knees because I'm sorry.
Sir, ma'am. Maybe in your eyes, I'm an unworthy guy who only gave your son tears till now. I won't give any pathetic excuses or elaborate promises. But please tell him to not turn around from me. If he leaves, I'll lose everything. Please tell him to trust me just one more time, please." Jungkook's back trembled violently. He cried so much while murmuring 'please' over and over again.
Taehyung who had been crying all the time moved from his position and hugged Jungkook from behind. Hugging his torso tightly.
"Why did you do that back then? Was it because you were sick of me? Or did I do something wrong?"
Jungkook quickly turned around. Hold Taehyung's face with both hands. Look at him lovingly even though tears still flowing.
"No, Love. No. Never in my life would be sick of you. And you absolutely didn't do anything wrong. I'm just so stupid and coward. I'm sorry." Jungkook wiped the tears on Taehyung's cheeks. Ignoring his own cheeks which also wet with tears.
"I don't want to see you cry anymore" He added
Taehyung looks at Jungkook with his big doe eyes. He put his hands on top of Jungkook's.
"I thought it's all over. But the more I think that it's over, the more I miss you. I guess I still really love you. Because you are my man, because you are my love, I will forgive you for everything. Prove me that you have changed. Show me how valuable, precious, and important I am in your life. Love me, so I don't regret my decision to forgive you."
"Re-re-really?" Jungkook stuttering. He is beyond happy and relieved.
Taehyung nods. "But the moment you hurt me again, I'll kill you with my own hands and throw your body to wild dogs." he giggled amidst his sobs.
With that, Jungkook pressed his lips against Taehyung's. Both of them smile in the kiss.
