It's been more than 24 hours, and Taehyung stays faithfully waiting in front of the ICU room. He still wears his yesterday clothes, in a truly messy appearance. A plate of salad, a piece of bread, and a bottle of juice, lying untouched beside him. How can he eat, if at the moment he doesn't even feel like breathing?
"Tae, please take a rest," Jimin says, who had just arrived with Yoongi.
Last night Jimin, Yoongi, and Namjoon go back to the dorm, while Taehyung, Jin, and Hoseok waited in the hospital. A few minutes ago, before the couple came, they both returned to the dorm.
And during his stay, Taehyung didn't eat, drink, nor close his eyes at all. He didn't even speak a word, just nodded and shook his head if someone asked him something.
Like now, Taehyung only shook his head as a response to Jimin.
"Tae, at least drink. You can be dehydrated if you continue like this." Yoongi says in a tone of concern. If Taehyung stays like this, he might also be lying in a hospital bed.
"Earlier I met the doctor. He said that he had contacted all hospitals in South Korea to look for heart donors. Right now all we need to do is wait for news from the doctor. So, while waiting you have to drink and eat first. You also have to pay attention to your health. Look, you are very pale. " Jimin rubs Taehyung's cheeks that felt cold in his hand.
"I believe that we will get good news. I'm sure we would get the right heart donor for Jungkook. Believe me, he will be fine." Yoongi added.
And Taehyung just nodded.
Their attention is diverted to Taehyung's vibrating cellphone. This is the twelfth call in the last hour, but the red-haired man has absolutely no intention of answering it.
"Tae, your sister called. Answer it." Yoongi insisted
"Hello ..." Taehyung said weakly
"For God's sake. Kim Taehyung, where have you been? Why did you just pick up my phone now?"
"I don't know if there is a call."
"Where are you now? Why haven't you arrived at home? Didn't you leave Seoul yesterday?"
Yes, Taeeun doesn't know about Jungkook's condition now. She was too busy preparing for her marriage so she didn't have time to read the news. And Taehyung intentionally didn't tell his sister.
"I'm still in Seoul, Noona."
"Why? What's wrong? Are you okay? Your voice sounds hoarse and weak."
Oh, how much Taehyung wants to tell her sister that he feels like dying, but he just says "I'm fine. There are a few jobs that I have to finish."
"You know that my marriage will be held in 30 hours, right?"

"Then when will you coming here?"
"I'll leave tonight."

Taehyung put his phone back in its place. He really wants to stay beside Jungkook, but he must be at his sister's wedding.
"Will you go to Germany tonight?"
Taehyung just nodded in reply to Yoongi's question.
"Excuse me, sir. This is a visiting hour. Please if someone wants to see the patient." said a nurse who approached them.
Since last night, when she was on guard, she really doesn't have the heart to see Taehyung's condition who's even paler than Jungkook. The beautiful woman knows very well that, more than anything, Taehyung just wants to see Jungkook. So do Yoongi and Jimin. No matter how much they want to see the younger, it would be nothing compared to Taehyung's.
"Go in. I know you want to see him badly."
"Thanks, Hyung." Taehyung finally uttering words while smiling faintly.
Again, that glass wall separates the two lovers who are trying to get through this tragedy.
"Hi, Kookie. How are you? Does it so painful?" said Taehyung who is now sitting on the floor, right in front of the glass wall.
"Are you not hungry? I know you must be starving, so please wake up. I will buy food for you. Whatever you ask, I'll buy it for you. You don't need to diet, you can eat whatever you want, even if your abs disappear, I don't care." Taehyung continues to rambling with a voice that trembled more and more.
"No, I'm not going to cry. Did my cry yesterday bother you? I know, you really don't like it when I cry. Sorry. By the way, tonight I will leave. I have to go back to Germany to attend my sister's wedding. Don't you promise that you will go with me? Then why are you sleeping here? What if later there is a handsome guy who asks me out? Should I tell him about me? Don't worry, of course, I'll say that I already have a handsome boyfriend."
Taehyung lowering his head to wipe the grains of tears that start to fall.
"Stay strong until I come back here. You certainly can do that because you are my very strong Jungkook. Isn't that right? I have endured this far, for you, for our love. So this time, please survive for me. You can't disappear from my life. If you leave, you take away my whole world."
he stands up, dusting his pants, then look at his boyfriend while smiling.
"See you again."
As soon as Taehyung left the room, he's shocked to find Jungkook's parents there. He immediately bows towards the middle-aged couple.
"Good morning, Mr and Mrs Jeon."
From the corner of his eye, he could see Yoongi who's slightly panic.
"Why are you here?" asked Mr Jeon.
"Isn't it clear why he's here, uncle?" Yoongi answer it instead of Taehyung
"Yoongi Hyung, Jimin, can you buy me some foods and milk? I'm really hungry now." Yoongi knows that Taehyung is actually driving them away. He bet that even if he bought what Taehyung wants, he wouldn't eat it at all.
Jimin, who doesn't know anything about Jungkook's parents, smiled brightly and eagerly pulled Yoongi away. He is really happy, finally, his best friend wants to eat and drink something. Ignoring his lover who struggling to try to break away from his grip.
About 30 minutes later, Yoongi and Jimin brought back some of Taehyung's favourite food and strawberry milk.
The older of the two observe the situation thoroughly, especially at Taehyung. He's looking for whether there are, even if only a few, wounds on his face or body. Luckily Yoongi doesn't find anything suspicious. It seems like nothing really happened.
Right now Jungkook's parents and Taehyung are sitting in chairs that are quite far apart. Jimin immediately ran over to his best friend with hands full of foods and drink.
"Tae. Eat these. I bought all of this for you." He said excitedly
"Thank you, Jim." Taehyung takes a piece of biscuit and puts it in his mouth
"Hey, why do you only eat biscuits? I even bought your favourite meat."
"I'll eat that later." Taehyung tries to showing his box smile. Try.
Meanwhile, on the other side,
"Both of you didn't do anything while I'm away, right?"
"Look, do you think there's something wrong with that child?" Jungkook's father said sneeringly.
"Uncle, Auntie. Jungkook loves him so much, imagine what would happen if he had to leave his life. Please just let them stay together"
"I don't want to talk about this issue right now. What's important this time is Jungkook's recovery," said Jungkook's mom
"I'm glad, at least you still care about him."
Yoongi then goes to Taehyung and Jimin. His lover is frustrated. Of all the food he bought, Taehyung only ate a piece of biscuit. Afterwards, he refused any food and drinks given by Jimin.
"I knew it." Yoongi squatted in front of Taehyung. "I know, earlier, you drive us away because there was something you wanted to talk about with Jungkook's parents, right? You, little sly lion. Since when are you good at lying? Eat. I and Jimin have bought this for you." he hands him a piece of bread.
"Later, Hyung."
"Kim Taehyung," Jimin said half-snapped. He shooks his best friend's body. "Look, you are so limp and pale. If you keep up like this, you can faint. You will get ill. If you continue like this, you won't be here when Jungkook opens his eyes. Get a grip on yourself."
And Taehyung, who since yesterday looks calm and doesn't shed tears at all in front of the members, is now crying out loud.
"Jungkook. I only need Jungkook. I want Jungkook. I want him." He cried hysterically in the arms of Jimin who now feels guilty for snapping at him.
The red-haired man's shoulders trembled violently, his tears are heartbreaking to anyone who heard it. Everyone present there, Yoongi, Jimin, nurses, and even Jungkook's parents also felt pain for hearing Taehyung's sad cry.
"Jimin, why is God so cruel to me? What is my fault? What sin have I committed? Why is my life so miserable? I just want to be happy, can't I?"

It's already evening, Jimin and Yoongi still stay by Taehyung's side who's not uttering any single words since his hysterical cry. Of course, asking him to eat and drink would end up in vain.
Jungkook's parents have left a few hours ago because apparently Mrs Jeon's condition is still weak, and they also have to visit grandma.
"Hi," said Jin, who had just arrived with Hoseok and Namjoon.
"Hello Taehyung." the oldest brother caress his hair fondly, but let alone get a reply, the red-haired male doesn't even look at him.
And it makes all the members more worried about Taehyung's condition.
"You three can go home, it's our turn to stay here."
"Taehyung will go back to Germany as tomorrow is his sister's wedding day," said Jimin who's sitting next to Taehyung since then, not leaving him even for a minute.
"I will go with him." all eyes, except Taehyung's, are now fixed on Yoongi. "Look at his state, I don't have the heart to let him go alone."
"You're right, someone must go with him." Namjoon agreed. Whereas Taehyung, he still gave no care about his surroundings.
"Jeon Jungkook's family," said the doctor who had just finished checking Jungkook's condition.
Taehyung who had been silent, since a few hours ago, rushed over to the doctor. "We. We are the family of Jeon Jungkook."
The doctor pats Taehyung's shoulder. "He will be safe."
"We found a heart donor which matched with the patient. Actually, we got info about the availability of donor since last night, but we have to make sure whether the donor's and patient's heart are matched. And after going through the matching process, it shows that the heart is medically suitable for the patient. So, we decide that a heart transplant process can be done. It's a miracle to be able to find a heart donor which is matched in a short time. Honestly, it's truly hard to believe and this is the first time, I've found a case like this, as long as I become a doctor."
Everyone who's there is relieved and happy when they heard what the doctor said, especially Taehyung.
He falls into Jimin's arms. He is glad. He feels as if all the burdens in his life are lifted in one breath. Never in his life, he feels so relieved, glad, thankful, and grateful as much as this. His Jungkook, his love, his life, will be safe. He will recover. He will be fine. Taehyung is very happy, and he can't ask for more. His Jungkook is safe and sound is all he wants.
"Thank God. Thank you." Taehyung said. His eyes overflowed with happy tears. Likewise, with other members, they are also very grateful and shed a happy tear.
Yoongi approaches Taehyung and hugs him. "Look, didn't I say that everything will be fine?"
"Yeah Hyung. Everything will be fine. This story will end happily." Taehyung said, smiling in tears.
"Now eat this." Jin hands him a piece of bread which he had brought from the dorm.
And Taehyung gets the bread with a smile. Eating it heartily even though the tears don't stop flowing from his eyes.
