"I want both of you to answer honestly for every question that I'm going to ask you."
"Ok."
"Did you meet Taehyung while I was at the hospital?"
There was a pause of a few seconds before eventually, Mrs Jeon said "Yes, we met him while you were in the ICU and we saw him for a while after your surgery. After that, we never met him again."
Jungkook nodded "Did you do something to him?"
"Oh my God. Of course not. Even Yoongi accused us of the same thing."
"Yoongi Hyung?"
"Yes. At that time, Taehyung was waiting for you at the hospital with Jimin and Yoongi. Then he asked them both to go and buy food. Once they returned, Yoongi immediately accused us of doing something to Taehyung."
"So, just the three of you left there?"
"More precisely, Four. There is a nurse who was on duty there."

"Is loving someone a mistake? Is it wrong if I love him? If so, then I will leave him. As you want."
To be honest, Jungkook's parents were shocked to hear that. As far as they know, the last time they met, both Jungkook and Taehyung insisted on keeping their relationship strong. It feels like They are most alive when together.
"Don't spout bullshit." Mr Jeon snapped at him
"You have my words. I'll go away from Jeon Jungkook's life. I'll stay away as far as I can"
"Why did you suddenly do this? For what reason?"
"Maybe, because he needs you more than me. Even though Jungkook doesn't say anything, but I know, deep down he really misses his parents. Every time, when the other members' parents come to visit, I know he is feeling jealous. He wants to feel the love of his parents, like the other child. And I know he won't get it if I choose to stay. Am I right? "
"Are you sure that you can keep your words?"
"Yes. I'm sure."
"But you know that he's going to devastate without you, right?" Mr Jeon said while narrowing his eyes
"He will go through a painful heartbreak, but all those pain that he's going through will build him into a stronger person." Taehyung took a deep breath before continuing his words.
"But you have to promise me one thing. Please treat Jungkook better. Treat him just like before you know that he is gay. Gay or not, Jeon Jungkook is still your child, your biological child. Don't beat him, don't hurt him. I beg you. When we fall in love, we say that 'I love someone' not 'I love someone's gender'. Yes, the one we fell in love with is the person, not the gender. Jungkook is just an ordinary person who's capable of loving someone. Please don't ... "
Taehyung could no longer continue his words. He had a lot to say to them. But all those words were stuck in his throat.
"I beg you. Take care of Jungkook. Love him. Give him abundant love like what parents supposed to do. I beg you. Be a parent who will always give their son an unconditional love irrespective of anything. Be a parent who knows, believes, and has full confidence that their son is very special and will always want them to achieve the peak of glory and happiness."
Taehyung then stood up, bowing, long enough, to Jungkook's parents. Then go away.

Jungkook is lost in thought. He still can't accept the fact that leaving him is Taehyung's own will.
Jungkook believed that Taehyung had 'disappeared' because his parents had threatened or hurt him. In fact, he had prepared all the ways possible to repay what his parents had done.
It didn't cross his mind at all, that Taehyung would give up their love with his own initiative.
Without saying a word, Jungkook walked slowly. He just wants to back to the dorm as soon as possible.
"Jungkook. What's happened to you? Why do you look so pale? Does your heart hurt again?" Jin asked worriedly when Jungkook arrived at the dorm
"I'm fine Hyung. I'm just tired. I'll sleep for a while in my room."
"Okay. I'll wake you up at dinner time."
Jungkook fell on the bed, sleeping on his back staring at the ceiling.
"Why are you so stupid, Kim Taehyung? What do you know about what I need and what I want? You said that I need them? You said that I want to be loved by them? Who said that? I just need you, stupid."
Jungkook cried, tears falling down on his temples. He's crying silently. Pouring out all his longing and his frustration.
"I miss you Kim Taehyung. Don't you miss me too? Don't you want to know how am I doing?"
And without heard by anyone, his question is swallowed by the wind.

"Jungkook, wake up. It's time to have dinner."
Namjoon shook Jungkook's body slowly. The raven-haired man then opens his eyes.
"Let's eat. The other already waiting downstairs."
Namjoon helps him to stand up, a little confused to see Jungkook staggering with a blank look.
'Ah, maybe because he just woke up,' Namjoon talks to himself. But he is wrong. During dinner, Jungkook only stirs up his food, without putting it in his mouth even for only one bite.
The noise from Hoseok, Jin, and also Jimin who is laughing out loud, didn't even bother him.
"Shhh ..." The BTS leader signals the members to be quiet. Then pointing Jungkook with his chin.
"Jungkook ..." Yoongi patted his shoulder gently, making the name owner turns and looks at him.
"What happened to you?"
"Hyung, have I truly recovered? Am I healthy now?"
"Of course. Look, you don't even need to take the medicine anymore. Just need to check up every two months, and that's normal. Why? Are you in pain?"
"If I'm healthy, then I can take a plane, right?"
Jimin looked at him in wonder, "for what? Where do you want to go?"
Jungkook looked down, at a bowl of rice in front of him.
"I went to Taehyung's company." everyone gasped and widened their eyes
"But I didn't meet him. I met Park Bogum, he said that Taehyung goes back to Germany. Then I met my parents, who know, maybe they were threatening Taehyung to leave me. And they said ..."
Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jimin waited for Jungkook to continue his words, holding their breath. Not ready for what they will hear next.
"Mom and dad said that Taehyung left me on his own will. He gave up on our love. He left me so that my parents can accept me back as their child."
Other members don't believe what they hear.
"Are you serious? Taehyung said that to your parents?", Jungkook could only nod.
"All I want is nothing more than just to see him once more. I just want to ask whether he misses me as much as I miss him or not. I just want to ask whether, all this time, he really loves me or not. If he loved me, then why did he leave me?"
"Taehyung really loves you. He loves you more than his own life. I've never seen someone loving his partner more than the way Taehyung loves you. Maybe, I can't even love Yoongi as deeply as he loves you."
Jimin couldn't look at Jungkook, he is afraid he would cry. Jin then left the dining room with a cellphone in his hand, only to return soon after.
"I've called the doctor. He said it okay for Jungkook to go on a long trip by plane. You miss Taehyung, right? Me too. I haven't seen him for a long time. Then, let's go to Germany to meet Taehyung."

Nobody thought that they would go to Germany that night.
After the incident in the dining room, Jin and Namjoon went straight to their manager and returned two hours later with five tickets for flights to Germany.
After Jungkook's accident, BTS decides to go on hiatus for about six months. So now they have no schedule at all. It doesn't matter if they go a day or two to Germany.
The members, only bring backpacks with a few clothes inside.
Honestly, Jungkook is so excited. He will meet Taehyung again, his love, his life. But he also feels a little, scared? There is this 'strange' atmosphere among the members as if there was a thick mist enveloping them.
During the 13 hour flight, no one speaks. Everyone is silent, busy with their own thoughts.
Even while in the car, on the way from the airport. There is absolutely no talk between them.
Shortly after, they passed the streets that so familiar for Jungkook. And the car they are riding stop at its destination.
Jungkook already memorized this place, he knows this place so well. With mixed feelings, he walks, hurriedly, sloppily, followed by the others who run after him.
Then his steps halted, he is there. His lover is in front of him.
The members successfully catch up with him. Yoongi then put his arm around Jungkook's shoulder. "The heart that beats inside you, is his"
The world is a richer place because he once lived
