"I want to know your likes and dislikes. What you're good at drawing most, and least. So, it's a free-handing in today's art class. You can draw whatever you like, and it's totally not because I haven't prepared anything." Tsunagu Hakamada (Best Jeanist), their art teacher, cleared his throat.
"Try your best, since you'll be drawing something you really like, you can make it as detailed and expressive as possible." Everyone nodded.
Katsuki felt a tap at his shoulder. Oh. Right. The nerd. Katsuki rolled his eyes, "what do you want?"
"What are you going to draw?" Izuku asked, trying to get a peak into his canvas to see if he had already started anything. Katsuki just further turned the canvas away from him. "None of your business, I'll show you at the end of class." Katsuki smirked.
Izuku frowned, his nose scrunching a little, "I bet mine'll be better."
Katsuki laughed, "As if. We'll see."
As the class went on, Katsuki could hear everyone discussing things as they painted. Especially Izuku. Izuku seemed to be mumbling as he painted, letting Katsuki know every little thing he was doing as he painted.
Katsuki drew a circle in the middle of the canvas.
Izuku grinned, "Did you see that new Allmight movie that was out this summer? Wasn't it so cool?"
"Yeah, yeah, sure..." Katsuki trailed off, drawing a line at the center of the circle.
Izuku kept glancing at Katsuki to read his response. He smiled everytime when Katsuki wpuld response. "Wasn't the fire scene so cool?"
"Yeah, he saved so many people..." Katsuki mumbled, solely focused on his painting. He added on curly hair, sticking out in all different directions.
"Yeah, yeah! And he almost died in the scene, but he still made it out. It was so cool!"
Katsuki drew eyes, and a sweet smile. Now, it was time to paint.
"Did you not comb your hair in the morning?" The teacher asked, pointing to Katsuki's hair.
"What the hell? No, it looks fine."
"It looks a bit... wild, don't you think?" The teacher commented, trying to smoothen his hair out.
Katsuki swatted his hand away, "It looks better than whatever you have goin' on."
Before Hakamada could say anything, someone called for help. "Sensei! I've accidentally spilled water on my painting and now my Pikachu its all ruined."
Tsunagu sighed, "Didn't I tell you to draw something more meaningful than just Pikachu?" He walked over to the other blond.
Katduki sighed, glad he was gone, and continued with his painting.
"He is right, though." Izuku pointed out.
Katsuki was a bit surprised, "Huh?"
Izuku chuckled, "It does look a bit wild."
Well shit. Now he's gotta do something, right? Katsuki played with his hair a little, trying to fix it. It's funny how when his teacher said something about it, he didn't give two shits, but when Izuku said the same thing, he immediately tried to change it.
"Tch, Does it look better now?" Izuku responded to his question by stopping his hand from fixing his hair anymore. "You didn't let me finish. It does look a bit wild. But it suits you. I like it."
Katsuki immediately stopped. "Whatever, sure." He averted his gaze, feeling his heart quicken its pace ever so slightly.
Izuku smiled, taking his hand back. "What're you sketching?"
"A face." Katsuki responded.
"Oh! Who're you sketching?" Izuku asked eagerly.
"Dunno, someone random I guess. Whatever comes to mind." Katsuki shrugged.
"Well, I'm doing a sunset."
"Hah, how basic."
Izuku nudged him. "Shut up."
Katsuki painted the face with a peach-ish color. Then the hair with a forest green, and applied the same color to the eyes. A slight pink to the lips. He then added highlights to anywhere needed on the face, as well the hair, the rendering took the most time of the class for the blond. He then finally dusted freckles across the face's cheeks, and well, it looked just like Izuku.
Wait.
Just like Izuku?
Just like Izuku!?
What the actual fuck, Katsuki, that wasn't supposed to happen! This wasn't supposed to be Izuku! What the hell were you even thinking!?
Katsuki felt himself panic, he needed to submit this by the end of class, which was literally in 5 minutes. Fuck, forget that, he told Izuku that he'd show him his painting!
No way in hell was he showing him his painting now.
Izuku looked at Katsuki. "Kacchan, Kacchan!"
"No." Was simply all Katsuki could get out. "No?" Izuku looked confused. "I- I mean no as in. Uh, I'm not showing you."
Izuku frowned, "Why?"
"Bec- Because I'm not done- uh, yet."
"Please? You must be half way done at least," Izuku pleaded. Katsuki immediately shook his head. "No, just go to lunch, dumbass. I'll catch up."
"But-"
"Go." Katsuki really made it obvious that he didn't want to talk to Izuku.
"...Fine." Izuku sighed, taking his things, and leaving.
When Kirishima was about to leave as well, Katsuki grabbed him by the back of his collar, and dragged him back into the class. "You're not going anywhere." Ejiro immediately covered his head.
"IswearIdidn'teatyourleftoversitwasDenkiplease don'thurtme."
"Wait, what?"
"Is this about your leftovers?" Kirishima took the risk of asking the blond.
Katsuki shook his head. "What the hell did you do?"
"Nothing!" Kirishima grinned. "Carry on,"
"Tsk, whatever," Katsuki rolled his eyes, dragging the redhead to the teacher's desk.
"Oi, I need your uh, er... hel- fuck, Shitty hair, you say it." Katsuki demanded.
Kirishima sighed. "Help? I think he needs help."
"Well, what is it?" Tsunagu was too tired to tell him not to curse.
"Shitty hair and I aren't writing our names on our canvases."
"WHAT!?" Kirishima yelled, confused.
The teacher raised a brow, "May I ask why?" Katsuki shook his head. "No, you may not. That's final."
"I'll be taking points off, I'll have to add your names on my own, then."
"Please don't take points off! I-I already wrote mine!" Ejiro pleaded.
Katsuki shook his head, "I don't care if you take points off, and just cover his name with a whitener. but you can't write our names. You can't do that."
"And who are you to demand me of what I have to do?"
"I'm Katsuki Bakugo." The blond smirked.
Best jeanist sighed. "I regret working here," he mumbled. "Why can't I? Please answer seriously."
"Deku can't know that I drew him."
"Why? And- And who is this... Deku?" Tsunagu asked in an annoyed tone.
Kirishima sighed, "Midoriya. To which the teacher nodded.
"I'm not into him like that, plus, he'll get the wrong damn idea, and think I like him or something."
Ejiro sighed, "That would be the last thing in his mind. He'd think you're a creep first." And the red head earned a shove from the male beside him. "Jeez, sorry."
"Wait, what does this have to do with my name getting erased as well?" Kirishima looked confused.
"Dumbass, so that I can say that you're the one who drew him. Duh." Katsuki rolled his eyes.
The red head looked shocked. "SO YOU WANT HIM TO THINK I'M IN LOVE WITH HIM?!"
Katsuki shrugged. "Not my problem,"
The teacher sighed, "And why should I agree to any of this?"
"Shit, I'll pay you." Katsuki suggested.
"Not a chance, young man."
"Just do it old man. It's just a couple of points off anyway, no big deal. C'mon shitty hair." Katsuki dragged the boy by the back of his collar.
Best jeanist could hear Kirishima go, "NO BIG DEAL?!" From the distance, making him sigh.
The next art class, Izuku was one of the first people to walk in.
"G-Good morning, Jirou!" He grinned. Jirou took off her earphones, and nodded his way. "Morning, Midoriya. Did ya see your face up in the wall?"
Izuku read her lips, and grew confused. "I'm sorry, what?"
"Your face. Someone painted you man."
Izuku's eyes widened, and he turned to the wall where everyone's paintings from last class was hung up. Only a few selected ones were up there, and one of them, was Izuku's face.
"Woah, that's actually so pretty..." Izuku mumbled, whoever drew him, they had captured his features so well, highlighting all the featured that would usually go unnoticed.
Who painted this?
Izuku searched for the name. There was no name.
Izuku flinched when he felt a hand touch his shoulder.
"Izuku! I've been calling your name like, 5 times. What happened?"
Katsuki walked in. The first thing he noticed was Izuku staring at his painting. He smirked.
Izuku pointed at the painting. "Isn't that cool? I wonder who painted that."
Ochako nodded, smiling. "It really captures you well."
Mina grinned, "Oh! It was Kats—" she was cut off by Katsuki loudly coughing.
Katsuki glared at her, making her look away immediately. "I, uh- I meant, NOT Katsuki. At all. In any way." She scratched the back of her neck.
"Who painted it then?" Ochako asked, confused.
Katsuki pushed Kirishima forward. "I- I-I did. Of course I did. Uh, he has... a nice.. face."
Mina looked confused, as she had seen Katsuki paint Izuku with her own two eyes. She sits a bit behind him afterall.
Kirishima sighed awkwardly. "Yep. Totally me. All me. I did that... for sure..."
"You hear that, Deku?" When Ochako got no response, she looked confused. "Uh... Deku? Hello?" She snapped her fingers by his ear, still nothing. She tapped his shoulder again, causing him to flinch. Katsuki noticed all of this, and it just added to his suspicion.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Of course I am, why do you ask?" Izuku raised a brow.
"You weren't answering me," she frowned.
"A-Ah, I just spaced out, that's all." He smiled nervously. "Anyway, what were you saying?"
"Kirishima painted you." She grinned.
Izuku looked at the red head with wide eyes. "You're so cool, Kirishima! You have great talent." Izuku grinned.
Okay, now, Katsuki regretted not writing his name down. But he wouldn't tell anyone that.
Kirishima laughed it off awkwardly.
Izuku then looked at Katsuki. "Kacchan! Where's the face you painted?"
"Shit, uh... down.. there." Katsuki pointed to Ejiro's painting.
"It's... Gatorade."
"...Yeah." Katsuki sighed.
"I thought you were painting a face?" Izuku raised a brow.
"I was, I just, changed my mind." Katsuki shrugged.
Izuku nodded awkwardly, "I see."
"It's better than yours," Katsuki smirked.
"Yeah, yeah, sure..." Izuku smiled. He looked at his own painting, smiling slightly.
"Oi, Deku, who's shadow is that in your sunset painting?" Katsuki questioned.
"Huh?" Izuku raised a brow, then looked st his own painting. Ah... right. It was supposed to be Katsuki.
"That kinda looks like mine, to be honest." Katsuki shrugged.
"Uh, no, no! It's not you, i-it'll never be you, e-ever. Uh, that's... Allmight, from his younger years." Izuku laughed nervously.
Ochako nodded, "that makes total sense," she gave Mina a look, which Mina returned.
