Innocent (TaeKook) - Chapter 23: Chapter 23

Taehyung was lying on his bed. Jin just left his room. It's currently 9pm. He was busy thinking about what happened a few hours back. He never saw Jungkook in that condition. He seem so vulnerable, so weak. He was a child who was hurt, who lost his everything and the one who took it was none other than his father.
Taehyung tried all he could to think of it as a he being a victim but in his view all of it seem quite justifiable, Jungkook did what happened to him the only difference is that he was a kid and Taehyung is an adult, he knows his right and wrong. And from all his life  he know his father, he has no doubt that Jungkook is telling the truth.
Taehyung was lost in his thinking and the train of his thoughts halt when a soft knock was heard on the door. He flinched, don't blame him even if  he think Jungkook is right, still what happened it was the most terrifying thing for him. It brought back alot of memories, memories that he desperately wanted to forget.
"Y-yes" his voice was very low, almost inaudible but the person outside heard it as it was very quite. Not just the room the whole mansion was in a grave silence. And the knob turned opening the door and a person entered in with a smile on his face, a smug smile.
"Hi Taehyungie." There was clear fakeness in the voice.
"H-hello Ma'am" Taehyung tried to sit up.
"Lisa. Call me Lisa. And don't get uncomfortable just lay down." Taehyung can clearly tell that all this is fake and there is clearly another motive behind this visit.
"I actually came here to apologize. I shouldn't have asked you that question. I mean i have no right to criticize you or judge you. I'm really sorry" Lisa said in quite low yet apologetic voice and it almost seemed true. Almost.
Taehyung quite forget what Lisa asked but then as she mentioned it now he remembered that. He tried to believe that it was Lisa's trick to get him under this condition he was in but then again Lisa sounded quite guilty so he being a pure soul let it slip thinking it might just be a coincidence.
"I-it's okay L-Lisa. You don't have to apologize. After all it was a game." Taehyung gave her a little smile.
"Aww baby thank u so much you are so cute. Do you know that." Taehyung felt shy listening to this and juat smile while looking down.
"I really envy you sometimes. I mean look at you baby, you are so cute and beautiful. Even you challenge me." She eyed Taehyung who was blushing listening to this but shook his head. Lisa was being too good to be true.
"Now I believe why JK is so fixated on sending you there. A pure love for his friend indeed. But you..... poor soul; you are not even being considered to be asked" Lisa's expression changed a little.
Taehyung froze on the place. Him being send, all of them know? Or JK literally told Lisa about sending him more like selling him as a prostitute. He is going to do it indeed. Jungkook's words sounded in his ears again.
"So I'll do whatever i want to do with you....."
"Opps I'm sorry i was not suppose to tell you. O God JK will kill me. P-please don't tell him you know. Please Taehyngie i beg you keep i-it to yourself. If h-he got to know that i told you he will do worse to me. You know his anger, when he get angry he....."
"D-don't worry he will never get to know and you didn't told m-me anything." Taehyung said with a weak smile that kind off amazed Lisa.
He is not even bothered by it. shameless. Don't worry i have alot in store for you if not this.
"Oh thank you Taehyungie. Well you don't worry he will get you a good owner i mean boss. You will get all the facilities you need there and if you need anything specific you can tell me i will ask JK to provide you with that." Lisa didn't learn to stop when she want something.
"N-no. I-i would like to r-rest please" there was a new set of tears building up in his eyes. He kind of forgot about what happened in the morning. After all it was tiring day and he felt like Jungkook will forget about it in his anger but how wrong was he.
"Oh yeah sorry to disturb you. Have some rest. If you need anything just call me. Hmm and think of me as your friend just like you consider Jimin." Lisa gave him a cutest smile and left the room with that smile changing into the smirk.
"Awww Taehyungie now i see how long do you last here. You messed with the wrong person" she jerked her hairs in a proud way and walked toward his room.
Taehyung was crying thinking about his life, he wanted to cry, scream and just end this misery. He is fed up of his own life.
Another knock and he wiped his eyes and cleared his throat.
"Yes" his voice was deep yet sad.
"Tae come dinner is ready." Jimin peeked out of the door and Taehyung gave him the usual fake smile, hiding all his sadness and stood up from the bed.
"Oh you go I'll be there just want to fresh up" Jimin nodded with a little smile and went out.
Jimin after his interaction with Jungkook went out. He spent 5 hours outside. He was hurt by his own behavior and his brother's. He love Jungkook and that's no lie but Jungkook is not thinking rationally. He is just being too over the revenge thing and is forgettingthe basic thing that he can't take out his wrath on an innocent leaving the guilty untouched.
So he just made a decision that until Jungkook understand he will not talk to him. He know how restless it makes Jungkook. Afterall Jimin spent half of his life with his brother and he is as much the part of younger's life as much Jungkook is his. He need to learn somethings and Jimin take the responsibility to make him learn.
Jimin went to the dining area where all of them are sitting and waiting for everyone to getter up. Jimin sat opposite to Yoongi who was just looking at him for his attention. He didn't even talked to Yoongi since that event. He is angry and hurt. He don't want this for some time and Yoongi know he is the reason for younger's changed mood. Jimin is a free living spirt and it's very rare that he become sad but when he does it takes him alot of efforts to get on normal terms.
"Is Taehyung coming?" Yoongi tried to make him talk but Jimin just nodded and went back to his phone. Everyone on the table knew what was happening there. Jimin is the soul of this family.
"Is he okay?" Jin said and Jimin looked at him and smiled.
"Yeah he looked fine. He just woke up said he'll come down in a bit" Jin nodded and looked around seeing someone else was missing.
"Where's Jungkook?" Jin said and there Jimin went back to his all serious mode.
"I'll get him" Maria came outside with a bowl of dinner placing it on table and said. All of them nodded except Lisa who wanted to go but couldn't ask seeing the environment around.
"JK come; dinner's ready" Maria knocked on the office door as she saw Jungkook was not in his room.  She stood there for some seconds but didn't got any response so she knocked again.
"JK. Come on dinner's ready everyone is waiting for you." This time Maria said alout louder and knocking loudly. Again no response. She started to freak out. The room was silent not even a single sound was heard.
"JK......JK" she said panicking. And this time an annoyed "leave me alone" along with something trashing was heard. She tried to speak again.
"GO AWAY MARIA. LEAVE ME ALONE" Jungkook barked from inside. This was a clear indication that the mafia boss is in no condition to be talked with. Maria helplessly walked away.
"Everyone....... everyone...... everyone. No one" Jungkook said while throwing the files on the shelf on the ground.
"No one is there for me. I lost them. I'm all alone." Jungkook dropped to the ground and cried again. Just like he did in the last 5hours.
"J-hyung" Jungkook said in broken voice. Jimin is angry with him. He lost him. He lost his brother.
"I'm sorry....... please don't push me away..... i need you" he hugged his knees close and buried his head in it. It hurts. His heart is hurting and his head also from all the crying but he can't help it. He bring this upon himself.
"I'm sorry..... please stay" another broken sentence and he cried louder. Jimin didn't even came to ask him for dinner. He didn't came back to him. He spent 5 hours in there thinking only about his brother and the other didn't even asked him for once that did he had his lunch? Is he hungry for dinner.  He stayed there in that condition crying and asking for forgiveness to practically no one.
"What? Where is he?" Namjoon asked soon Maria entered the dining area. She just shook his head.
"He said to leave him alone." Namjoon and all of them looked at Jimin at once who didn't even bothered to look up and started eating.
"Eat up dinner is getting cold." Jimin said with taking a big spoon of food in his mouth. Taehyung joined him looking at the table. All of them was there except one certain ravenette.
"Taehyungie come. Have a seat." Lisa said as she saw Taehyung standing there. Jimin looked up and gave a small smile the boy and asked him to join them for dinner.
Taehyung hesitantly walked to the table sitting beside Jimin. He looked at Jungkook's chair and thought why was the boy not there yet.
"He won't come. Have your dinner." Jimin said watching Taehyung.
"Huh. W-why?" Taehyung said lowly.
"Don't know, don't care." All of them again looked at Jimin. Why you might ask? Cz Jimin can be careless about himself but for Jungkook its a bog No. This  is like sun without his shine, moon without his light.
"Stop looking at me all of you." Jimin said in quite dominant voice. Taehyung has seen this Jimin for the first time ever since he know him.
Taehyung served himself a small portion of food and started eating.
It will be good that I avoid him. Maybe if he will not see me often then he will not let me go. Clearly he want to punish me so i just have to avoid him for 5 days. That'll be easy. Jimin will be there and will protect me. Just till Friday and then everything will be okay.
Taehyung thought and went back to eating. Everyone was busy eating suddenly Jimin's phone ringed and he quickly stood up picking up his phone and ordered Maria and went out of the dining area.
"Give him the food in his room, if he wants to eat"
He just shut off the alarm on his phone and went back to his room. He went inside locking the door behind him and sat down on the ground back leaning with the door and a cracked sob left his mouth.
"Why are you so stubborn" Jimin said voice small and hurt.
Jimin knew Jungkook will not be able to sleep if he stayed hungry. It's like that since he was child. He cannot sleep if he is hungry. Jimin was dying to go to his brother and make him eat the food in his supervision, but Jungkook need to get his lesson also.
"Please eat" Jimin said again looking at Jungkook's photo in his phone. The feeling of hurt filling him inside. Apart from being a good friend he is also a brother, and he need to do his responsibilities being a brother.
Jungkook stood up. He was done crying. He went outside and made his way to Jimin's room. If Jimin is not visiting him than he will go to him. Jungkook went near to older's room, the mansion was quite. It was midnight.
He was barefoot he didn't wanted to make any noice to alert the other or he will lock the room. He knows Jimin really well. As he went close to his room he peeked his head inside and saw Jimin lying on the bed with his back to the door. He wanted to go inside sit beside him and talk to his brother, but Jimin was sleeping soundly he didn't wanted to wake him up.
He just said "good night hyung" quite low and closed the door. A single tear left Jimin's eye as soon as the door closed. He placed his hand on his mouth to not make any noise.
Jungkook just wiped the fresh tears he had looking at his brother. He was not known where he was going and when he came to realization he was standing infront  of Taehyung's room. He wanted to go back to his office but instead he opened the door slowly and went inside.
Taehyung was sleeping with a cute pout on his lips and his long lashes kissing his rosey cheeks along with the busted lip and a bandage on the forehead. Still he was looking dangerously beautiful. Jungkook crouched down to younger's level and said getting close to his ears.
"I'm sorry"
