Innocent (TaeKook) - Chapter 32: Chapter 32

"Morning hyung" Jungkook said as he saw Jimin going upstairs.
"Morning" Jimin replied monotonously.
"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked
"To see Taehyung. He must be awake by now. Why are you so happy today?" Jimin said watching the smile on Jungkook's face.
"Oh it's noting. I just got my session with Lisa.... have a good day hyung " Jungkook said while walking away.
Jimin clearly knows Jungkook just lied to him but he shrugged it off cz lately Jungkook is not telling him all truth.
He went up to the room and knocked on the door while getting in. He saw Taehyung sitting on the bed,  all washed up and dressed. He saw the change of expression on Taehyung's face.
Taehyung was more relax than yesterday. He gave him a small smile, didn't spoke anything but he seemed happy.
"Hi Tae. So what do you think we should do today?" Jimin said knowing that he won't get an answer but still he hopes one day Taehyung will talk to him like he once did.
Taehyung slides the letter farther under the pillow and adjusting him in a way that Jimin should not find out. Why you might ask? Cz he don't find it comfortable to tell Jimin about it.
"M-morning Hyung" Jin turned around and saw Jungkook standing outside the door. He turned back to the work he is doing and greeted back.
"Can i come in?" Jin didn't took his eyes off of the work.
"Come in" Jungkook walked inside Jin's room and sat across the table.
"How are you hyung?"
"Why are you here JK?" Jin deadpanned him.
"I-i came to apologize." Jungkook said.
"Apologize for what?" Now Jin was looking his face.
"I want to say s-sorry for what i did to T-Taehyung. I....."
"I'm not the one you should apologize. Apologize to him for what you did." Jin cut him off.
"What you said was right. I deserve worse but I really love him hyung. I can't even think about staying away from him. I know i know i broke him but i never intended to, Lisa misguided him. Please hyung..."
"You can say whatever you want JK. But I'm not the one you should apologize to. It's him. Go and try to earn his forgiveness. Just I'm sorry and his it's okay won't be enough."
"You forgive me, don't get mad at me and I'm sure I'll win his heart." Jungkook sounded quite determined which made Jin smile.
"I forgive you Jungkook. Go get your love." He said patting his back.
Jungkook stayed with Jin for sometime and then headed back to the mansion. He asked Jin to come over as Taehyung would have loved his company. Jin assured him that he will in the evening.
"That was fun." Jimin said placing the chess board aside. He looked at his friends face, Taehyung was smiling not like he do usually but a small smile was plastered on his face.
"I miss you Tae." Jimin couldn't hold himself back and hugged him.
"I miss you Taehyung."  Taehyung remembered Jin's words from yesterday's letter . He just lowered his eyes thinking he is giving everyone a  hard time.
"Hey hey no being sad okay. We'll get over this." Jimin hugged him tightly and kissed on his temple.
"Alright i have to go now. I have a class today." Jimin stood up and left the room not before telling Taehyung that he will bring his lectures home.
Taehyung was relaxed for an unknown reason. He just remember the letter. He pulled it out from under the pillow and looked at it while smiling.
"I miss everyone too" he thought and stood up to go to the washroom.
Jungkook was in his office infront of the laptop. He was looking at the video of his room, he saw Taehyung smiling and a smile got plastered on his face also.
"I miss you Taehyung." Jungkook said to himself and blowed a kiss to his direction.
As Taehyung got back from the washroom, he saw a white paper on the ground. He knew what is it. He ran toward it and picked it up.
"Good afternoon Tae. So how is my baby doing. I hope you had your breakfast and Lunch. i hate it when you skip your meals. You know what I got an idea today and i love it. I thought about it and from today, I'll buy one thing you love and then when we'll be able to see eachother face to face I'll give you all of them. Don't take too long Tae, I'm an impatient guy. Just kidding but seriously i want to meet you. You won't make me wait for too long right?  There is bowl of strawberries  outside the door enjoy 🖤

Taehyung folded the paper and put it in his pocket. He didn't notice the tears he had in his eyes. He slowly walked to the door and opened it, he peeked his head put and saw no one was around. He picked the bowl and shut the door.
He came with a bowl and sat on the bed. He took one and ate it in one go. He really loves strawberries. When he was working at Beakhyun's he often ate it. But it's been 5 months he didn't saw them let alone eat them.
He was enjoying strawberries and humming in delight unknown of the one who was watching him with hearty-eyes.
"I really love you. I want to hug you and keep you in my arms away from every danger."
He was talking to himself when he heard a knock on the door. He closed the lid of Laptop and gave permission to come in.
"Noon JK."
"Good afternoon Yoongi hyung. What's up? Everything alright? Did Lisa...."
"No no she didn't. I came here to talk about something personal. Are you free?"
"Oh yeah tell me. Come sit" Jungkook asked while moving to the couch.
Yoongi sat beside him and started fiddling with his fingers. Jungkook putted his hand over his shoulder.
"What is it hyung?" Jungkook said seeing the confused and nervous expressions of older's .
"Here." Yoongi handed him a USB.
"What is this?"
"Watch it, you'll find out." Yoongi's tone was changed causing Jungkook flinch.
He stood up and picked his Laptop coming back to the couch. He plunged the USB in and saw a single folder with a video in it. He clicked on it and video started. It was all black, at first he couldn't look anything but soon it started to become a little clear.
"He was a good person" he heard Yoongi's voice. Then he heard Jimin's voice. He was about to say something but Yoongi stopped him. He just waited to watch the whole video.
"What are you doing here. Go away."
"It's sad he died so early"
"Murdered. He was killed by you guys"
"It's your fault Jimin, you killed him. You knew better than anyone that he was not the right person for that job, he was just the keeper of an orphanage, not a trained spy. Hyung sik died because of you."
"He was the rightest person for that job, if you could have just talked to me before being a good friend, this wouldn't have happened today"
"You could have atleast trusted me enough to talk about it before making such a rash decision jim."
"I know you since start Yoongi, you will never betray Jungkook."
"I will never betray you Jim. You, your are the founder, my love, my life my everything. How could you think I wouldn't have trusted you?"
"It was you who didn't wanted me to betray Jungkook, Jim. You tried to handle everything yourself so no one get hurts."
"Shut up. Shut up shut up shut...."
"You can't make everyone happy Jim. We are humans not angels"
"You did best for everyone, you did the best you could do. If nobody can see it it's there fault, not yours. You can't beat yourself up for someone else's doings."
"He said I don't know how it feels when you loose your parents. I do Yoongi, i do........... i also lost my father. They just left him there, no body even cared to burry him........ i know how it feels............. i left my dad because of him and he say I don't know how it feels to have a bond..... he said i don't know how it feels when you lose your loved one. I do Yoongi....... i do. I lost my parents twice. I stayed by his side all along and now when he is independent he called me an Orphan. I took him.......... I raised him........ i know how it feels Yoongi."
It was quite for a bit, too quite that he believed maybe it was over. He was about to cancel it but again...
"He is stupid Jim. He is stupid. He is a brat. I'll teach him a good lesson. He needs to learn."
"No."
"He is a kid, he don't know what to say. Don't say anything to him."
"Jim you are too pure. This world don't deserve you."
"You didn't visited the orphanage, Jisoo was worried for you."
"How do you know?"
Yoongi came forward and canceled the video. He looked over to Jungkook who was crying.
"W-when d-did this h-happened?" Jungkook said.
"The night before party. I found him in the graveyard. He spent his days staying there by his grave and then rest of it in the orphanage." Yoongi said showing no emotions.
"I-i....i..."
"Yes you..... You JK. You. It's always you. You were the one for whom he grown up so early, at the age of playing around he was earning money. When he was suppose to enjoy, he was busy working. It was always you JK. You snatched his childhood. You JK. It was you for whom he......" Yoongi huffed in frustration.
"I changed my mind about giving you this but then again it's been 4 days and you didn't even cared to apologize to him. At first i slipped it off but 4 days damn it. You have a heart or not. Don't your conscience eat you up." He raised his voice a bit.
"W-where is he?" Jungkook said standing up.
"I don't know." Jungkook ran outside. He ran directly to the training grounds.
"Kai. Did Jimin hyung visited?" Kai bowed in respect.
"Yes he did. He just went inside saying he needs to be with his friend. He asked to let him know if anything important comes up." Jungkook nodded and ran back inside.
He saw Jimin on the last stair and ran behind him. He stopped him a little away from the Taehyung's room.
"H-hyung." Jungkook said and Jimin panicked seeing the red eyes of his brother.
"What happened Kook." Jungkook hugged him tightly.
"I'm sorry hyung. I'm soo sorry. I'm sorry hyung." Jungkook said .
"Kook hey, what happened? Why are you crying. Here look at me." He pushed him to free from the hug to look at his brother.
"I'm the worst brother hyung. You don't deserve me." Jungkook separated from the hug and kneeled infront of him. "Here slap me, kick me do whatever you want to do. I deserve this hyung. I deserve your anger."
"Will you care to tell me what's that all about?" Jimin said completely confused on what's happening.
"Yoongi hyung told me everything. I didn't mean any of it hyung. I was angry and anger got the best of me. I never thought about you that way. I never will. Please I'm sorry." Jungkook said.
"Kook stand up. Listen i know we had rough times but let bygones be bygones." He pulled him up and wiped the tears.
"Shh. Don't cry." Jungkook hugged him again.
"You are not angry?"
"Why would i? You are my brother kook. I will never be angry with you." Jungkook felt more guilty. How could he do this to such a pure person.
"A-about Hyung sik, I didn't knew it was him who was guarding Taehyung. I swear I didn't knew, if I would've, I would've never let them kill him. I respected him. He took me in when i had nothing." Jungkook said.
"I know Kook. I believe you. It's no use to bring these things up. May his soul rests in peace." Jimin said and gave a little smile to his brother.
"Amen"
Jimin left to Taehyung's room. He went inside while Jungkook just stood there. He can't believe he hurt his brother this bad and he didn't even bothered to apologize. He really is a monster.

The next few days goes like that. Taehyung was getting well. Jimin saw the change in Taehyung. He was smiling more. He felt alive.
Taehyung started to wait for the letters. Each letter was special than before. Each letter would made his heart fluttered. He started to get used to the one who writes to him. Everyday the letters would bring a new feeling inside him. He was getting impatient to meet him. He was feeling loved again.
As usual he was sitting on the bed eyes glued on the door. It was 11:55 and letter would come around 12. He didn't moved his head a bit.
Soon he saw a white paper slipping inside the room, he ran toward it and picked it up. He looked at the paper and it was same, For Tae Baby written on it. He sat back on the bed and opened it.
Hello baby. How are you. I heard you are happy now a days, feels like my baby is having a good time. I want to see you. I miss you soo much. I didn't got enough time to spend with you. Anyways you know today I bought a dog for you. I got to know that you like dogs. He is cute just like you. I named him, Yeontan . You'll love him when you'll see him. Also i showed him your picture so that he gets used to see you. He is so hyperactive though. It's getting hard for me to handle him and it's just the first day. But you'll tame him, i know, you have the heart that can tame anyone around him. We miss you Taehyung. Please be quick. Don't make me and Yeontan wait for too long please. There is an ice-cream tub outside the door take it.

Just like always Taehyung was feeling, a warm feeling in his heart. He was happy. He felt happy, he felt loved. Someone was giving him attention, an attention that didn't seemed like sympathy. An attention that hides Love in it. Only love.
He folded the paper and putted it where he had all others. He stood up and made his way to the door to have his ice-cream.
Jungkook saw Taehyung relaxed and happy and smiled. He is thankful to God that Taehyung is getting better. He just hopes that Taehyung will come out of that room soon. He wants to hug him, shower him with kisses.
He just sat there looking at the screen. Taehyung was busy eating ice-cream. He looked so cute in his pout while eating.
Now Jungkook know how Jackson felt, and he don't blame him for being desperate to be around Taehyung. But he still can't allow him around Taehyung.
"Hurry up Taehyung, I don't think i can hold myself anymore..."
