It was the only thing that was in Jungkook's mind. He was happy. Taehyung complimented him, yes he consider it as his complement.
The drive back to home was silent but he was enjoying it. It was like Taehyung was with him. For him it was just him and Taehyung, whole other world seemed to stopped.
"What is it?" Jackson pulled him out of his imaginative world .
"Huh?" Jungkook said clearly not known about the question.
"Are you watching this Joon, the great Jeon Jungkook is smiling. Thats new for me."
"That's what we call love. It changes people." Namjoon said while tapping Jungkook's shoulder.
"Okay enough of your Love Guru thing." Jungkook said clearly blushing out of embarrassment. It was not a daily thing that you see Jungkook lost in thinking and smiling. He smile very rarely.
"What is it?" Jackson again said wiggling his brows.
"What?"
"Come on tell me already. What were you thinking?"
"Keep your eyes on the road Jackson. I don't wanna die that early."
"O don't you worry I won't let you die before having your thing with Tae." Jackson said nudging Jungkook's shoulder.
"Watch out." Namjoon shouted and Jackson was quick to move the staring wheel.
"This is what i said. Watch the road." Jungkook said sternly and there we go silence engulfed the car once again.
It took them half an hour and they reached home. Right when Jungkook entered he saw Maria busy packing the food in a box.
"What are you doing?" Jungkook said while walking to the kitchen with Jackson when Namjoon went to the training grounds.
"Packing Lunch for Taehyung."
"H-he...... you k-know he can't eat right now." Jungkook said. Suddenly his chest started feeling heavy. Jackson held his hand to assure him he is not alone.
"Oh don't worry. He had enough rest now, it's time to wake him up. You just see how quickly he will wake up when the smell of my food hit his nose. He can't resist my food. He loves i-it." Maria's voice cracked at the end.
"Unpack it." Jungkook said turned on his heels to move out but a hand on his wrist stopped him.
"Please Jungkook. I'm sorry i know it was my fault but please let me see him." Maria said voice on the verge of crying.
"I said thousand times Maria don't apologize, it was not your fault."
"Then let me see him."
"You can't cz he isn't there!!" Jackson was quick to speak as he saw the hurt and guilt on Jungkook's face.
"What! where is he?"
"He woke up b-but...."
"But? What happened?"
"He don't remember us okay. He remember nothing. He is gone." Jungkook snapped and jerked his hand free and walked to his office with big heavy steps.
"I-is it true Jackson?" Maria said .
"It is..... he got amnesia." Maria gasped. "But Jin said he'll get okay. It'll just take some time."
Jackson comforted Maria and after that went to Jungkook. Right now he is the only one who need a shoulder.
Jackson opened the door to get in but Jungkook stopped him in the door way.
"JK you want coffee?" Jackson said
"Is Kai home?" Jungkook said.
"I guess. Why?" Jackson replied.
"Call him. I want to talk to him." Jackson turned on his heels without wasting a minute.
Jungkook sat there in his room thinking about past months. Ever since Taehyung was kidnapped he stopped drinking coffee.
He only liked Taehyung's coffe and for him that was his standard. No one other than Taehyung can satisfy his desire.
Jackson came back with Kai along him. Kai was a little pale. He was afraid that maybe Jungkook have came to know about his deeds and now he will punish him.
"Here he is JK." Jackson said and Jungkook asked him to leave the room.
"Come sit. Close the door on your way out Jackson." Jungkook said. Jackson has a hurt expression on his face. But he didn't argued, just left the room.
"Sit down" Jungkook said again and Kai hesitantly sat on the corner of the couch.
"Today i called you to talk about very important thing. Be honest with me okay." Jungkook said and Kai could only nod.
"That day when i found you, you oath to stay by my side no matter what happens. Are you still hard on your words?" Jungkook said and Kai didn't knew why he felt guilty but none the less he nodded.
"I want to say sorry..." Kai's eyes went wide. Jungkook stood up and crouched down and looked at Kai.
"I'm sorry for what i did. Now that i see Taehyung in such state, so close yet so far from me i can understand what you must have felt. I'm really sorry. Your family...... I'm sorry Kai. Can you forgive me? Will you keep your words and be with me always?" Jungkook said and Kai was sitting there with tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry Kai." Jungkook said once again, but Kai was not in tears for remembering his family. He was feeling guilty, for doubting Jungkook, for getting in Lisa's trap, for wishing and even trying to kill Taehyung.
He was a traitor. He betrayed Jungkook and for him it was enough to kill him inside. Jungkook was his savior, he was his angel who appeared in his life when he got zero hope of getting out of that house alive.
"D-Don't say that JK. You have every right on me. I'm your slave you can do whatever you want with me. I'm all yours."
"No Kai you are my brother. I never saw you as someone who work for me. I have always believed you as my brother. That's why i gave you the commandership of the army."
Kai can't take it. Jungkook have done so much for him. And then these words. His conscience started crunching inside. It was killing him inside.
He stood up abruptly. Jungkook stood up to and looked at him.
"What happened?"
"I-i w-want to go."
"Kai...." but kai left the room. Jungkook called Jackson.
"What happend to him?"
"I don't know i was just talking and he left..... go see what's the matter." Jungkook asked and Jackson nodded. Jackson left the room and went to the training grounds.
Jungkook plopped down on the couch with his head in hands. He messed up very bad. There are so many people he hurt and he is afraid that he would have to pay for it too. He can't..... he is afraid of Karma.
Jackson went there and sat beside Kai who was sitting on the bench under the Oak tree.
"U okay?" Jackson said. Kai didn't say a word.
"You know he cares for you right?" Still no answer.
"He did wrong but he regret it. He may not say it but he do. You are important to him Kai." And there Kai broke down. He held his head in his hands and sobbed loudly.
"I-i b-betrayed h-him Jackson."
"Come on don't say that. That was not your fault."
"No not that..... i-i t-tried to kill Taehyung....... i-i t-tricked him." Jackson was out words.
Every single being in the mansion knew that Taehyung is Jungkook's property and even a foul eye on him was an unforgivable sin.
"What do you mean." There was no softness in his voice.
"L-lisa...... i h-helped Lisa. I freed Min-Jae.....I"
"You kidnapped Taehyung.."
"No no no that was not me I promise but i asked Min-Jae to kill him."
"KAIII..." Jackson's hand stopped just a few inches away from Kai's face.
They sat there for some time. Jackson was angry but he knew if Jungkook got to know about this he will kill Kai without giving it a second thought.
He looked at Kai and he can see that Kai was guilty. That guilt was making him restless. He couldn't wait anymore.
It was getting dark. He stood up and looked back at Jackson.
"I'm going to tell him everything. I can't betray him anymore."
"He will kill you."
"Then atleast I'll die in peace."
"Kai..."
"No Jackson." Kai stood up and marched towards Jungkook's office. He stood outside the door and breathed in and then knocked on the door.
"Come in" Jungkook said and door opens revealing a gloomy Kai.
"Oh hey. You okay now?" Jungkook said.
"I'm here to tell you something sir."
"Hmm go on."
"I-i.....I...." he couldn't muster the power.
"He wants to tell you that he is always with you." Jackson came running. Kai turned to him.
"No. I'm here to tell the truth." Jungkook was looking at them with cocked brows.
"Am I missing something here?" He said and Kai nodded yet Jackson shook his head.
"Jackson? You got some issue?"
"oh no no JK I'm all okay."
"Kai what is it?" Jungkook turned to Kai.
"S-sir I've..."
"JK. Call me JK."
"Please stop. Don't make it more hard for me." Jungkook was confused on Kai's reaction.
"S-sir i....I'm a traitor. I betrayed you. I was the one who helped Lisa and i was the one who freed Min-Jae. I was the one who asked Min-Jae to kill Taehyung.... I am the traitor sir." Jungkook's eyes went dark. He stood up abruptly.
The mention of Taehyung was enough to activate his anger. He came to Kai and held him by neck.
"You did what?" He said jerking him toward himself.
"I'm s-sorry sir. K-kill me sir i-i don't d-deserve to live." The air was getting short and his face was red. Jungkook's hold was tight.
Jungkook punched his on the jaw. Kai tailed back.
"JK...."
"Shut up Jackson..." before he can reach him Jungkook's phone buzzed and he saw the caller id.
He quickly picked up the call and in the next second he was out of the room.
He heard the panic voice was Jimin.
"Kook.... Tae...."
"What happened to him? Tell me." Jungkook shouted.
"I don't know. Come quick. He...."
"Hyung what is happening there...."
"COME TO THE STORE." Jimin shouted and cut the call.
Jungkook wasted no time and within a second he was in the car. He started the engine and made his way to the store.
During the whole drive his mind was continuously thinking about thousands of things. He can't loose him..... he won't let anything happen to him.... he can't leave him. Not like this. There is still so much Jungkook wanted to say to him.
He reached there in a an hour. As the store got in view he saw people gathered at the door of the store.
He ran out of car quickly and pushed passed the people and got inside the store.
"Hyung where is he? He said as he got inside. He saw Jimin on the ground and two other male.
"Yeonjun? You..... where is he?" He said and Yeonjun gave him the way.
Jungkook felt like his soul left his body. He saw Taehyung lying there in Jimun's lap looking so pale and cold.
He was afraid to think anything. He don't want to. He just want to wake up of this nightmare and take Taehyung so far where he can't get hurt.
"What h-happened to him?"
"We don't know he was just standing there and suddenly he started shouted and said his head hurts..."
Jungkook walked and picked Taehyung bridle style and walked to the car. Jimin ran behind him.
"What were you waiting for..... why didn't you took him to the hospital?" Jungkook snapped at Jimin.
"I-i...... I didn't have the courage...."
"If something happened to him I'll never forgive all of you. If i would have been with him atleast this would never had happened." Jungkook said angrily and drove to the hospital. He asked Namjoon to inform Jin about their arrival.
Taehyung was unconscious but continuously murmuring one name "Nana"
"What happened to him?" Jin said as he saw the pale complexion of Taehyung and shivering cold body.
"Nothing... we were just standing there and he was okay. Suddenly he screamed and bent down and then he fainted. Till now he is just murmuring one thing Nana, Nana, Nana thats it." Jimin said not looking at Jungkook but he can feel the piercing gaze of younger.
"His condition is getting out of hand. He is not okay." Jin said. "Do you know any person name Nana in his life Jimin?"
"His mother. Her name was Kim Nana" Jimin said.
"Is he gone back to his childhood?" Jungkook said, worry clear on his face.
"No child call his mother by his name. That's not it." Jin siad. "Who else knows about him?"
"His father." Jimin said and looked at Jungkook who clearly understood what Jimin was trying to say.
"Keep him under observation and stay with him. Inform me if wakes up." He said and left the room.

"TELL ME..." Jungkook shouted as he yanked injered Min-Ho by his hairs.
"I t-told y-ou what you w-an-ted to hear." Min-ho said.
"Who is Nana? I'm asking you last time."
"My wife. His mother. I'm telling you nth time."
"Other than that. It's not just her mother. Who else is Nana whom he knows?"
"How would i know? Go ask him."
"You know everything you just need a right bait for it."
"And can you give that?"
"Tell the truth and I'll let you free."
"Deal?"
"Hmm.... Tell me now.... Hurry up."
"What's so serious about her by the way? No one knows about her other than me and Min-Jae. I'm not sure he knows her."
"Tell me..." Jungkook slapped him.
"She is Min-Jae's younger sister."
"Your daughter? Tell me all you know about her"
"She is 12 years old, her name is Kim Nana, she is... ummm"
"What?"
"She is disable."
"Disable?"
"She can't walk. Her legs...... she is paralyze since birth."
"How do Tae know about her?"
"I don't know okay. I told you no one even know that she exist. Only Min-Jae knows about her." The expression that Jungkook saw on Min-ho's face were the same to the one he saw when he bought Taehyung.
"Are you sure she is your daughter?"
"Sure as day." Jungkook just nodded and turned to leave.
"Set me free. You said you'll let me go." Jungkook turned and smirked.
"You really wanna go?"
"Yes. Untie the ropes ."
"I don't think you'll like my way. Shouldn't we wait for Tae to wake up? Then I'll set you free."
"YOU MADE A DEAL." Min-ho shouted
"Watch you tone oldy." Jungkook said grabbing him by a collar. "I'm not Taehyung whom you'll scare by yelling at."
"Let me go. You made a deal."
"Ohh did i? I don't remember. Do anyone else remember?" Jungkook looked here and there. "Oh no one does. Good night oldy." Jungkook punched him and knocked him out.
He called Jimin to ask about Taehyung and Jimin told him that Taehyung is still out.
"Yoongi" Jungkook called him, yoongi came.
"Search every place where Min-ho and Min-Jae went. Find a girl name Kim Nana. She is 12, paralyzed. Find her quickly" Jungkook said as he can sense that Taehyung knew something that is bugging him.
"And contact me as soon as you find her. Call Yugyeom and ask him to accompany you." Yoongi nodded and headed out.
"Kim Nana...... another mystery...."
