The thing about Jennie is that she has the biggest heart to love. When she loves someone, even if she's uncomfortable, unsure, or hurting, she'll find ways to give her whole heart to that person. She'll make things happen or find ways to make the impossible possible.
"Jen, why don't you sleep first? You just got here and that was a long flight." Jisoo asked her girlfriend over the phone.
"Chu, we're in Paris. I'm not going to waste my time just sleeping. And I had a long sleep in the plane."
"I'll be out for a Dior dinner meeting and might finish late. Why don't you just go here tomorrow morning, love? I don't want you to wait up too long for me, Jendeuk." Jisoo tried her best to convince her stubborn mandu.
"No... I want to sleep beside you already..." Jennie whined.
"I'm moving hotels soon also so why not wait for that?" Jisoo tried again.
"No, I miss you already..."
"Jendeuk..."
"Baby..." Jisoo could already imagine the tears in her girlfriend's eyes after hearing this one.
"You'll ask manager oppa to bring you here?" She finally asked.
"Yes..."
"And you don't want to sleep first?"
"No, because I might oversleep and you won't let me go to you anymore..."
Jisoo sighed and knew that she lost this battle. Jennie Kim wins.
"Alright, alright. I'll see you tonight here, okay? I'll ask my manager to hand your keycard to your manager so you can just enter anytime. But what will you do to stay up? I really might finish late since it's a dinner meeting too." Jisoo asked with worry.
"I'll meet my friends here for dinner. I can ask them to bring me around first. And then before that... I'll probably finish some of the bracelets I've been working on."
"But promise me you'll sleep if you feel the need to sleep?"
"I will, Chu!" Jennie answered happily. Jennie Kim always wins.
Around 1:30 am, Jennie finally entered Jisoo's suite with a sleepy smile.
"Chu..." Jennie buried herself in Jisoo's arms and inhaled deeply.
Jisoo hugged her girlfriend tightly and brought her to bed before she falls asleep standing up.
"I told you to come here tomorrow instead. Pabo." Jisoo said affectionately while kissing her forehead.
"I mished you. Gib me kish." The sleepy girl mumbled on her neck.
Jisoo just laughed lightly and gave her a sweet kiss.
"Sleep, Jendeuk. Let's greet each other tomorrow properly. Okay?"
"Okay, Chu. If you say so..."
Jisoo could only look at her girl fondly and hugged her closer.
"Unnie, I'm telling you. Jisoo unnie is upset with you." Chaeng told her with worry.
"But what did I do?" Jennie whined.
"All your pictures here in LA... maybe they're very, hmmmmm, sexy?" The blonde tried to explain.
"Eh?!? But Jisoo likes seeing me sexy. Remember when she saw my CK pictures, she couldn't wait to get her hands on...."
"Nooooo, please do not finish that sentence!!!"
"But it's true!" Jennie pouted while thinking of the reason why Jisoo was upset with her.
"Well, remember your Halloween outfit?"
Jennie looked at Rosé and waited for her to continue as she really was clueless on why her girlfriend would feel that since they've been talking everyday and she never mentioned feeling upset over anything.
"Well, it was really nice, right? Very sexy, very alluring, very true to the character you were going for." Chaeng tried to explain and wished that the girl would finally understand what she's going for.
"Uh huh, I know. I showed that outfit to Chu and she liked it very much also. We had a very memorable video call after she saw that fit and..." Jennie tried to share with her.
"Okay! Okay! I don't need to hear it. Anyway, well, she saw some pictures of the party and I guess she didn't like how some people were.. Uhmm.. too close to you?"
"Ahhhhh... I get it." Jennie finally realized. "Is she upset because she's actually jealous?"
"Yes, there! Because she was sulking to Lisa and I the whole time after seeing some pictures. She kept pouting and muttering. When we asked her what was wrong, she said it was nothing. But Lisa saw her phone and saw that she was looking at some of your party pictures. Lisa thinks she was just grumpy because she misses you but I was thinking maybe she was actually jealous."
"I see. Thank you for telling me this, hubby!" Jennie smiled and went to get her phone.
"You didn't hear it from me, unnie!" The younger girl left Jennie's room to message Lisa about what happened.
Jennie quickly dialed Jisoo's number and waited for her to pick up which she knows she will. Even if there's a big time difference, both of them promised that they could call each other anytime. No questions asked. Especially if one is missing the other.
"Jendeuk? Are you okay?" Jisoo answered with her voice heavy with sleep, making it huskier than usual.
'God, her voice is so sexy.' Jennie smiled just hearing it.
"Hi, baby. I'm sorry for calling and waking you up. I know you're asleep and have an early schedule later."
"No, no. It's okay. Hi, are you okay?" Jisoo tried to sound more alert.
"Yeah... I just missed hearing your voice, babe." Jennie bit her lips. She really did miss her Chu and she doesn't want to get teary eyed because of it.
"Awwww, is my Jendeukie missing me so much again?" Jisoo laughed. "I miss you so much also, baby."
"I'm missing even your laugh, Chu." Jennie pouted.
"I'm sorry I can't go to LA... I tried to haggle here for them to let me go there but it's just not possible with my schedule because of some promo shoot."
"I know... I'm sorry I'm being clingy again."
"You're my Jendeukie. It won't be you if you're not clingy." Jisoo smiled as she relaxed herself on the bed again.
"A few more days. I'll be home to you soon."
"And I'll be here waiting." Jisoo whispered affectionately with her husky voice.
Jennie could only nod even if the older girl couldn't see her.
"Chichu?"
"Yes, Jendeuk?"
"Is it true? Are you feeling a bit jealous because of some pictures?" Jennie asked gently.
Jisoo coughed. Jennie smiled as she knows this is how Jisoo covers her real emotions.
"What? Where did you hear that?" Jisoo tried to scoff.
"Chu, just tell me. Were you?" Jennie gently coaxed.
"Pfft... No... Tsk... Okay, maybe. Just a little. Not so much."
Jennie waits patiently as she knows her girlfriend will eventually tell her.
"Okay, I'm feeling maybe, sort of, not so much, but okay I really am.. Jealous." Jisoo stuttered answering Jennie.
"But why, baby? Did I do anything that made you feel that?"
"No... not you. It's just me... I just didn't like how some of your LA friends are too close to you." Jisoo muttered.
"What do you mean, love?"
"It's because you're so crazy sexy and they get to see it and stay close to you. They even get to put their arms around you during pictures... and I'm not there to pull you away so you'll be closer to me instead. So yeah... maybe I'm jealous... " Jisoo mumbled the last part.
"Aww baby, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I made you feel that. But you know those are nothing, right?"
"Yeah..."
"They're just being playful and flirty for the pictures, baby. You know I won't do anything either, right?" Jennie asked worriedly.
"I know... I'm just being miserable because I miss you and I miss your hugs and kisses." Jisoo pouted.
"Awww, my baby. I'm sorry. I'll be there soon, okay? I wish I could hug and kiss you too." Jennie sighed.
"Mmmmmhmmmm, lots of hugs and kisses waiting for you here, babe." Jisoo answered sleepily.
"Go to sleep, Chu. I just wanted to hear your voice really and tell you that I love you. So no need to be jealous, okay?" Jennie softly answered.
"I love you too, Jendeukie... I miss you. Call you later when I'm up?" Jisoo yawned.
Jennie giggled hearing her girlfriend fighting her sleep.
"Goodnight, my Chu."
"Goodnight, Jendeuk." Jisoo ended the call with a big smile on her face as she slept.
Come morning time in Korea, Jisoo received a bouquet of flowers every hour of the day from her Jendeuk. Each bouquet came with a note telling her how special she is and how badly the girl in LA is missing her.
It was Jisoo's turn to call her girlfriend to wake her up and tell her how much she was missing her as well.
"Did you have fun at your birthday celebration, babe?" Jisoo asked Jennie as they got home in their unit.
"Of course! I didn't expect my mom to go all out with the food she prepared for everyone though. I bet she's regretting having all those leftovers with her." Jennie snickered.
"Well, she can always send us some of those extra food so we don't have to keep cooking here."
"Oh you mean, I don't have to keep cooking?"Jennie teased as she wrapped her arms around her baby.
"Mmhmm, so we'll have more time to do other things. Don't you think so?" Jisoo smiled and leaned closer to kiss her girl.
*Buzzer*
"And of course Lisa is here to ruin my moment with you." Jisoo grumbled as she rested her forehead on Jennie's.
"Don't be mean, we invited them here to watch tonight's episode." Jennie giggled and playfully pushed her girlfriend.
"I just don't understand why we need to watch tonight's episode when I can clearly do more important things with you. Especially because it's your birthday." Jisoo wiggled her eyebrows.
"Baby, behave. And you know I always catch the first broadcast of your show." Jennie smiled as she went to the door to open it for Lisa and Rosé.
"Yeah... but the scene tonight..." Jisoo mumbled.
"I'll be fine, Chu. It's a show. It's your work. And you worked hard for it." Jennie gave her a small smile.
"YO YO YO! Let's get this show on the road!" Lisa hollered as soon as Jennie opened the door.
"Hello to you too, Lisa." Jisoo rolled her eyes and prepared some drinks for everyone.
"Bro, what a cold greeting to me. Your favorite maknae!" Lisa acted hurt.
"Lisa, stop bothering unnie." Rosé scolded Lisa as she also settled inside the house.
"Still. She wasn't mean to me a while ago during dinner at Jennie's place." Lisa pouted.
"A while ago I was required to share my Jendeuk with everyone for her party. Now, I could have her solo and have our own celebration. But no, I still have to share her with you." Jisoo pouted more.
"Okay, you two, stop. Jisoo, be nice to Lisa. Lisa, be nice to Jisoo. We're all here to watch the episode tonight." Jennie said calmly.
"But, Jendeuk..."
"But, unnie..."
"Nope, you guys stop and settle down already. The show is about to start so please sit down already. Hubby, want to help me with the drinks?"
And with that, order was restored because of Jennie. The two still argued quietly while preparing the TV.
"I can't believe you invited us to watch this episode with you." Rosé whispered to Jennie.
"Well... if I didn't invite you guys, I might die from jealousy. And knowing my jealous ass, I'll ignore Jisoo the whole night. And I don't want to do that because it's still my birthday and I'm really proud of her." Jennie softly answered, afraid that Jisoo will hear her as she knows that the older girl would be willing to skip tonight's episode if she says she's not comfortable.
"Well, good luck to us. You invited Lisa. Prepare for her to fangirl and squeal the whole time, especially during that scene." Rosé laughed as she patted Jennie's back.
The two eventually joined Jisoo and Lisa bringing with them the drinks and some light snacks. Rosé stayed beside Lisa who eagerly gave her a big hug like a koala. Jennie went straight to Jisoo's arms as she settled herself on the older girl's lap, their usual position whenever they watch the show together.
Jisoo gave Jennie a kiss on her ear and snuggled closer to her neck.
"Are you sure you really want to watch this? It's still your birthday, we can do so much more... it's not too late to kick these two out. Well, kick Lisa out and ask Chaeng nicely to leave." Jisoo whispered in Jennie's ear.
Jennie shivered from the contact but she remained adamant with her decision.
"It's okay, Chu. We can do those after this, okay?" Jennie gave her gummy smile and gave Jisoo a soft kiss.
"Hey! No kissing scenes here! It should only come from the show!" Lisa teased the couple.
"Lisa, I swear I'm going to..." Jisoo grumbled as she tried to reach for the maknae. Jennie stopped her but Rosé was there to hit Lisa on the head instead making the maknae stop for a while.
"Thank you, Chaeng!" Jisoo grinned.
"You're welcome, unnie! Now, Lisa, be quiet." Rosé scolded the girl and nodded at Jennie. She knows her wifey is jealous already about this episode so she doesn't need Lisa to fuel it more.
"Ahhhh! I can't believe we're in this episode!" Lisa loudly whispered to Rosé.
"Shhhhh, I can still hear you!" Jisoo scolded and buried her head in Jennie's hair, the scent making her relax.
Watching the episode, Jisoo would constantly observe her girl to see her reaction. She would leave some kisses on Jennie's head or would trail some kisses on her neck to maybe distract the girl so they can just have alone time already.
"Chu..." Jennie whispered as to not distract the maknaes who were watching intently.
"Hmmm?" Jisoo answered without stopping her kisses.
"I'm watching." Jennie giggled.
"I know. Am I distracting you?" Jisoo smirked.
"Yes." Jennie gave her girlfriend a peck and focused on the television again while smiling.
"Fine." Jisoo hugged her tighter and watched with everyone. Jennie would sometimes cuddle closer to her during intense scenes and would compliment Jisoo on how good or amazing her acting skill was.
When the episode was almost over and it seemed like the inevitable was about to happen, Jennie suddenly got her phone and started scrolling through her birthday pictures.
"Oh my God, is the kissing scene about to happen??? I can feel it already! I need to film this!" Lisa squealed.
Even Rosé, who was watching it quietly the whole time, was suddenly grabbing Lisa also waiting for it to happen. She would look at Jennie subtly, nod at Jisoo to give her that "uh oh" look, and then focuses on the screen again.
"Lisa, quiet down!" Jisoo scolded the maknae again. "You're going to wake up the other units here."
Jennie just looked at the screen briefly and went back to her phone acting like nothing big is about to happen.
Jisoo just observed her girl and watched as she chose some pictures to post for her IG birthday post and then would look up at the television again. She knows that the younger one is just trying to avoid watching the scenes that are about to happen. This actually made Jisoo smile as she appreciates how Jennie is trying her best not to feel jealous and support her instead.
Just before her birthday ended and before the kissing scene started, Jennie posted her birthday post in her IG and immediately kept her phone to continue watching.
Jisoo smiled at the girl, kissed her forehead, and got her phone out. She quickly went to Jennie's IG post and thought of what to reply to her.
"Ahhhhh! It's happening! Recording! Hurry up! Stop drinking coffee!" Lisa whined.
"Lisa, quiet!" Rosé tried to hush her.
"Lisa, stop it! You're so noisy! Don't fight the TV!" Jisoo laughed at her friend but gave Jennie a tighter hug with her one arm.
Jennie just sat there and watched the show quietly with a thoughtful face.
"Ahhhhh! Youngro is going to have her first kiss! This is it!" Lisa cheered as she recorded the entire thing.
"Lisa! Stop! I'm watching!" Rosé complained.
"LlSA BE QUIET!" Jisoo whined.
Jennie just watched quietly as the scene unfolds in front of her.
"Eh? That was it? Boo!!!" Lisa complained after the kissing scene.
"Was that even a kiss? Maybe a smack." Rosé added.
"Jisoo unnie is now a kiss nerd though! Haha! A kiss nerd!" Lisa laughed at her own joke.
"I really think we shouldn't call it a kiss." Rosé said once again as she looked at Jennie and then Jisoo.
Jisoo looked at Jennie who was now beside her as she transferred after the show. She gulped thinking that she has the quiet jealous Jennie for tonight.
"It was a great episode, Chu! As usual, you were amazing." Jennie smiled weakly at her.
"Right, unnie?!" Lisa replied excitedly. "Jisoo unnie is really an actress! Who got kissed by a man!" Lisa laughed loudly.
Rosé tried to hit Lisa with her elbow and laughed nervously. She could already feel the shift in the air because of Jennie. Jisoo was just smiling awkwardly at them.
"Ouch, Chaeng! That hurts!" Lisa complained.
"Jisoonie, you were great again tonight. I can already feel the awards coming in for sure." Rosé said sincerely, ignoring Lisa's whining.
"For sure! Jisoo unnie fighting!" Lisa cheered on.
"They'll be crazy not to give my Chu an award." Jennie finally answered with her emphasizing the words 'My Chu.'
Jisoo smiled after she heard Jennie say that. She might have the possessive jealous Jennie for tonight. And possessive jealous Jennie is very hot and sexy.
"Thank you, guys! That means a lot!" Jisoo genuinely told them.
"I mean you may not get the best kiss for that one but I can wait for the next kissing scene." Lisa teased.
Rosé cleared her throat. Jisoo coughed awkwardly. Jennie raised her eyebrow and is starting to show a small frown as well.
"Ahem, wow, look at the time! Lisa, I think we should go already! I bet Jennie unnie is tired from her party a while ago and needs to rest." Rosé voiced out to break the tension.
"Oh yeah! Happy birthday again, Jennie unnie! Please tell your mom to send me some leftover food. I saw her packing a lot a while ago and forgot to ask for some." Lisa pleaded as she gave Jennie a big hug.
"I will. Let's see if she can send everybody some because there's no way she'll finish those." Jennie laughed.
"Me too, okay? I love the salad one! It was good, wifey! And the pasta, that was good too. And the steak. If there still is." Rosé drooled just thinking about the food that they left behind.
Jennie giggled and assured the blonde she would send all those as she gave her a tight hug as well.
"Bye kissing nerd!" Lisa tried to give Jisoo a big kiss on her cheek which the older tried to avoid by pushing the maknae away. Lisa just laughed and ran out the door when she saw Jisoo getting a pillow to hit her.
Jisoo, while chasing Lisa out of her door, stopped outside first and got her phone again. She quickly tapped the heart button and smiled at herself as she replied with another reminder for her girl to know how much she loves her. She knows Jennie would understand it after she reads it. She kept her phone and tried to find the giant to hit.
"You okay?" Rosé whispered to Jennie as they were left inside the unit. Jennie was checking her phone and saw what Jisoo replied to her post.

Jennie just smiled and gave Rosé a wink. Rosé knows what that wink meant and she knows the two will be okay tonight and that she needs to leave the unit. Fast.
"Good luck, Jisoonie!" Rosé whispered to Jisoo this time as she gave her a goodbye hug when the older girl entered.
Once the two left, Jisoo gulped and prepared herself for whatever her jealous mandu would be throwing at her.
"On TV, that was just you. When you act, I just see you, Chu." Jennie smiled softly at her.
"Jendeukie... are you mad?" Jisoo looked at her girlfriend worriedly.
"Me? Mad? No. I can never be mad at you for doing something you like, Chu." Jennie answered fondly.
"Are you jealous...?" Jisoo asked tentatively while holding the girl on her waist..
"Of course, I am, baby." Jennie smiled with a hint of mischief in her eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jisoo finally smiled knowing for sure that it's possessive jealous Jennie who is with her and possessive jealous Jennie will make her very, very happy.
"Because I just realized that those heart shaped lips kissed someone that isn't me, Chu. What should we do?" Jennie pouted as she pulled Jisoo closer.
Jisoo gulped as she watched those kissable lips that she's been missing since Jennie's celebration.
"I guess my Jendeukie should immediately replace it with new kisses. Do you agree?" Jisoo smiled.
"Oh, for sure! For sure! Someone needs to be reminded that she belongs to me. Right?" Jennie playfully answered.
"Yes, this is a very good idea. I agree wholeheartedly." Jisoo nodded.
"Mmmm it's so hard to replace those kisses with some soft ones. I think the kind of kiss that those lips need now requires us to be in the bedroom. Yes?" Jennie whispered in Jisoo's ears.
"Agree. 100%!" Jisoo pulled Jennie to the bedroom in a hurry with the former just giggling.
Once they reached the room, Jennie immediately kissed Jisoo deeply, making the older one moan and pull them towards the bed.
"Mine." Jennie kept whispering as she kissed Jisoo passionately. Jisoo just nodded and kissed her girlfriend back with the same intensity.
"Jendeukie..." Jisoo tried to say in between kisses. "Happy birthday, baby."
Jennie stopped kissing Jisoo and just looked at her adoringly.
"Thank you, love. I can't believe I'm spending another birthday with my favorite person in the world who likes leaving silly blue hearts on my post." Jennie said affectionately as she traced Jisoo's nose with her index finger.
"Ha! I bet you liked those hearts and my Jendeuk comment! And pfft, as if I'd let you give me away!" Jisoo snorted.
"No! Never! Mine!" Jennie kissed Jisoo's neck.
"I'm not going anywhere, Jendeuk. I'm just yours." Jisoo laughed and pulled the girl closer.
"Since you have been insisting a while ago that my birthday is not yet done..." Jennie whispered seductively.
"It's not your birthday anymore, love." Jisoo teased the girl as she ran her hands up and down her back.
"It's still my birthday in some other parts of the world..." Jennie bit her neck softly.
"Now who am I to argue with the different time zones, right?" Jisoo giggled as she pulled her girlfriend again for another passionate kiss.
The thing about Jennie is that Jisoo loves her completely. Jisoo loves her during happy days, sad days, grumpy days, jealous days, "I'm so mad at you" days, and any kind of day that life decides to throw at them.
The thing about Jennie is that Jisoo will never ever let her go. She'll make sure that Jennie will always be her Jendeukie. And that she will always be her Chu.
