K-pop Idol Imagines - Chapter 10: Chapter 10

It's been three weeks since Jisoo last saw or heard Y/N. She told herself that it was just a mere attraction, but she couldn't help herself. Y/N was stuck in her head.
Jisoo tried hard to focus on her work in drama and her upcoming album project but somehow Y/N's thoughts were taking a toll on her. The girls noticed the frown that had settled on her beautiful face for a long time. They were worried more than ever now.
"Guys, come with me," Jennie said and ushered Lisa and Rosé into another dressing room.
Locking the door behind them, Jennie settled down on the couch with Lisa and Rosé on either side.
"What happened, Unnie?" Rosé asked. "Yeah, why did you lock the door?" Lisa questioned.
Jennie took a deep breath and released it. She was worried for Jisoo and wanted to figure out what is on her mind so badly.
"It's about Jisoo Unnie," she said.
"What about her?" Lisa asked, furrowing her brows. "I think I know what you mean," Rosé said.
"What?" Lisa said, perplexed. "She's not behaving like herself anymore... It's like something is going on her mind and she doesn't wanna open up about it," Rosé replied, nodding to herself.
"Exactly. She's not like this. And whenever I ask her she just says, 'It's nothing, Jennie'... and we know it's more than that," Jennie said, deep in thoughts.
"So... what are we doing here?" Lisa asked. Jennie rolled her eyes and smacked her head. "Ow! What?" Lisa whined while rubbing her head.
"We have to find a solution for cheering up Jisoo Unnie..." Rosé said and trailed off thinking. Jennie and Lisa nodded in agreement while doing the same.
After a few moments of contemplation, Rosé finally snapped her fingers and shouted, "Wait! I got it! I think we can do this..." And then she whispered something in each of their ears. Just like cartoons, Jennie and Lisa smiled slowly and nodded with excitement.
"That should work. I guess?" Jennie said with hope. Lisa shrugged and replied, "It's lame, but it'll work."
"What did you say?" Rosé glared at her and pinched her arm. "Ouch! What's with you all hitting me??" Lisa winced while rubbing her arm.

On the other hand, Jisoo was sitting on her make-up chair. Sulking about Y/N. She was craving the warm and reassuring hug that she received the last time. It was like she got a confidence boost just by mere words and a hug.
She promised herself, though. To work hard and make her fans and family proud, because she knew she could do it. And she did. But, the excitement vanished as the day passed and she felt the loneliness and despair running through her mind.
Jisoo was a hardworking woman. Everyone knows it. However, sometimes she also needs support, support like no one could give. Sure, her family and members helped her all the time, but it's nothing like Y/N gave her.
Sometimes that one person who will always be by your side and gives you their undivided attention was the type of feeling Jisoo wanted.
"Jisoo, let's go. Our turn has come," her manager said as the girls made their way towards the stage.
They were shooting interviews and pre-released dance practices this week. It was hectic, but they had to go on. Keeping up the team spirit, they performed with undying stage presence. Being the world's biggest girl group comes to the greatest responsibility.
"Okay, girls! Good work!" the cameramen announced and the girl bowed down, showing their gratitude. Then, they left the stage again to their backstage rooms.
While walking in the hallway, Jennie beckoned Rose and Lisa closer and whispered, "Should we break it to her now?"
Rosé looks onward to see Jisoo walking ahead of them, shoulders slumped and head hung low. "Maybe... not now."
"Then, when?" Lisa asks, raising an eyebrow. "When she is in a state to listen... Let's talk after we change," Rose suggested as Jennie and Lisa nodded in compliance.

"Happy birthday, Y/N!" A girl shouted and hugged Y/N tightly.
"Oof! Thanks, Seo-Jun..." Y/N replied and pulled apart with a smile. "I have brought a gift for ya!" Seo-Jun yelled and took a small box out of her purse.
"You didn't have to..." but nonetheless, Y/N opened the velvet box to find a bracelet there. "That's so beautiful! Thank you!" she said and wore the bracelet.
"Your day is just started! We're gonna have so much fun today..." Seo-Jun said and pulled Y/N from the couch. "Change first. We're going out!" she commanded.
Y/N surrendered and went to her room closet searching to wear something. While skimming for what to wear for the evening, she found her black leather jacket. A sudden frown crept her lips and she caressed the leather with her thumb.
It reminded her of Jisoo. She also missed the girl very much as Jisoo did. Although she saw an improvement in BLACKPINK's promotion and stages, Jisoo's eyes told many emotions through the screen whenever they were interviewed.
She was trying hard in her field as they both talked last time, but the sadness in Jisoo's eyes didn't go unnoticed to Y/N. She worried for every day in the back of her mind and wanted to hug her saying some reassuring words in her ear.
"Y/N!? I'm gonna leave alone!" Seo-Jun screamed from downstairs pulling Y/N out of her trance. She quickly changed into a brown overcoat and high-neck sweater beneath it, simply pairing brown boots and her favorite jeans with it.
Y/N rushed downstairs as she found Seo-Jun standing at the front door. "Let's go. I'm ready," she said with a smile.
Seo-Jun linked her arm with her and dragged her out, shouting, "Yay! Let's have some fun!"

Jisoo came out of the washroom after washing off her makeup and wearing some comfortable clothes. She sat down on the couch in the dressing room and waited for others.
Closing her eyes and releasing a heavy breath, she leaned back and settled on the couch. She's been craving some peace in her mind that used to be there before.
"What did you do to me, Y/N..." she mumbled under her breath and rubbed her face with her palms. Sighing she straightened and took out her phone, opening her social media. Best time pass ever, she thought.
Scrolling down Instagram, she found her fans' replies to her latest posts.
"OMG, she looks so stunning."
"I'm such a huge fan of her voice! Jisoo, I love you!!"
"Please, step on me! T_T"
Jisoo smiled a little at her fans' cute replies. She was happy that her fans were liking the new project and progress in her work. But, suddenly, she halted on one reply as her eyes widened in surprise.
"I told you :)"
Her heart skipped a beat as her finger hovered above the username. "Is this... Y/N?" she thought and was about to click when the girls burst into the room.
"Yah! Jisoo Unnie!" Lisa shouted and tackled her in a hug, which forced Jisoo to put her phone away.
"What happened? Why are you all looking at me like that?" Jisoo asked as she pulled apart from the hug. She saw Jennie and Rosé hesitating to say something to her.
Jisoo stood up and rested her hand on Jennie's shoulder asking, "What is it? You know you can tell me anything, right?"
She gave them a smile as Jennie, Lisa and Rosé exchanged an amused look. "Are... you okay?" Jennie asked.
Jisoo chuckled a bit and replied, "Why wouldn't I be? I'm great, Jennie..."
"So..." Rosé started and shared a look with Jennie before saying, "Can we go to the club?"
Jisoo blinked a few times and asked, "...Club?"
Lisa came from behind and tugged onto her arm, requesting, "Yeah. We wanna check out the new club that opened... and celebrate our new music too! Please, let's go, Unnie..."
"Okay, as you wish," Jisoo replied, nonchalantly.
"Wait, you don't have any problem with us going to the club?" Rosé asked, perplexed.
Jisoo stifled a laugh and replied, "Never have been. Why would I stop you? You are basically adults, you can do whatever you want, Chaeyoung-ah!"
"And you are coming?" Jennie asked, hoping for the answer to be yes. "Do you want me to?" Jisoo questioned.
"Yes! Please! Let's go to the club!" Lisa cheered in response and they all went out of the room while giggling and talking.

"Where are we going, though?" Y/N asked Seo-Jun, who was humming happily while driving her car.
"Seo-Jun..." Y/N repeated, annoyed. Seo-Jun rolled her eyes and said, "You can't let a surprise be a surprise? Huh?"
"No. Now tell me where are we going," Y/N demanded while crossing her arms and looking at the road ahead.
"There's a new club which has opened a few weeks ago, and I didn't have any better opportunity to check it out!" Seo-Jun exclaimed, excitedly.
"A club? Really? That's what your surprise is?" Y/N asked, shaking her head in disbelief. "Oh, come on! You're gonna love it! My colleague recommended it to me, and she said that it was better than any clubs in the town," Seo-Jun explained.
Y/N just shrugged and fiddled with her bracelet as an uncertain feeling settled in her mind. "I hope you're right..." she said and trailed off looking outside the window.

"Don't worry, Oppa! It's newly opened and no one will go to a club on a Tuesday," Jennie reasoned with their manager.
Jisoo looked at her phone as she heard Lisa also joining the argument. She took no notice of it and continued scrolling down some Tik-Tok videos on her phone. Somehow, it always calmed her down a little.
"Jisoo Unnie, let's go," Rosé softly said and Jisoo nodded. They all stepped out of their van and entered the club without any interruption.
"Whoa..." Lisa exclaimed as she roamed her eyes around the club. It had a whole new touch of elegance. Unlike other clubs, this was a bit less sparkly and dark rather, a decent-looking one.
It had a black and gold interior with a stage in the middle. The bar was clean and organized and it smelled like rich wines in there.
"Now, this is amazing!" Jennie said and beckoned a waiter. Jisoo scanned the room and nodded in approval, saying, "It is different, but a good different."
As the waiter approached them, he gasped in surprise and said, "B-Blackpink?! Oh my god! P-Please, have a seat!"
Lisa and Rosé giggled as they followed him and Jennie stood with Jisoo. "Are you enjoying so far?" Jennie asked.
"We have just entered, Jennie..." Jisoo pointed out walked toward the girls. "Let's see how it goes," she said.

"Come on!" Seo-Jun dragged Y/N inside the club.
They entered the club and Y/N gasped. "Whoa... this is cool," she said. "I know right?! Now let's get a table," her friend said and they beckoned a waiter.
The waiter showed them a corner table. Y/N got settled in her seat and Seo-Jun ordered, "Your best cuisine and two red wine."
The waiter gave them a bow and retreated inside. Y/N turned in her seat and scanned her surroundings, saying, "It looks good. Nothing like we have attended before."
"Yeah, it does!" Seo-Jun replied. She pulled out her phone and pointed it at Y/N. "Hey, Y/N," she said.
Y/N looked at her, saying, "Hm-- Yah! Seo-Jun! Don't click my photos without my consent!" She shouted and leaped forward, trying to snatch the phone from her.

"This wine is so good!" Jennie exclaimed as she sipped her wine. Jisoo looked at her members and replied, "How's the food?"
"Mmm! It's delicious, Unnie!" Rose remarked and Lisa nodded along while munching onto her food.
Jisoo chuckled and picked her chopstick. She was about to dive into her food when a voice halted her in midair.
"Yah!... Don't click... my consent!" it sounded familiar to her.
Jisoo's heart raced and her eyes widened. She turned her head toward the sound and abruptly stood up.
The girls stopped and looked at her. "Unnie? What happened?" Lisa asked.
"She's here..." Jisoo said and walked away from their table. The girls shared a look before following their Unnie.
Jisoo looked here and there before her eyes settled on a girl. Sitting at the corner table with her back facing Jisoo. She was shouting and trying to snatch something from another girl.
Jisoo's heart plummeted as she slowly made her way towards the girl. Her lips parted a little as her hands tingled from anticipation. She hoped that this was Y/N.
The girls looked perplexed by Jisoo's actions. They just followed her and Jennie said, "What is she doing?"
The other two just shrugged as they watched their Unnie in action.

"Seo-Jun! Give me your phone!" Y/N yelled as she tried to get ahold of her phone.
Suddenly, Seo-Jun stopped and Y/N got a chance. She took the phone away and smiled victoriously before deleting the photo. "Now, you can't do-- Seo? Hey?" she said.
Seo-Jun was staring wide-eyed at her, mouth hanging open. Y/N snapped her fingers in front of her face and asked, "Hey, what happened?"
"J-J-J-J-Ji-Ji," Seo-Jun stuttered as she shakily pointed her finger behind her. Y/N furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and asked, "Why are stuttering? I can't understand you."
"Y/N?" she heard a voice behind her.
Y/N stopped working. Her mind went blank at the voice. "No, it can't be... Please, it can't be," she muttered under her breath as she gulped heavily.
Turning around in her chair, she gasped audibly. There stood one and only, Kim Jisoo. The girl she was hoping to see again. Y/N stood up from her chair and said, "Jisoo?"
Jisoo almost teared up after seeing her. She rushed up to Y/N and wrapped her arms around her. She snuggled her face in her chest, sniffing up her perfume.
Y/N just stood there, still processing. "It's you... It's really you, Y/N," Jisoo mumbled against her.
Y/N grudgingly draped her arms around Jisoo and hugged her closely. A calm feeling settled inside her and she let out a held-up breath.
"It's me," she softly said and smiled.
Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé stood there with their bodies overtaken by shock. "Someone pinch me," Lisa said.
"Me too," Jennie added and looked at Jisoo. "Who is she?" Rosé asked.
"I don't know..."Jennie replied. She walked towards Jisoo and the other two followed.
"Unnie?" Jennie asked. Jisoo pulled apart from the hug and turned around. Her eyes were glistening with tears but they showed happiness this time.
Jisoo looked at Y/N and then her members. "Looks like I have to explain everything now..." she said.

"...That's how I met her," Jisoo said as they sat on the bench near the Han river.
"And now you coincidently meet her in the club," Jennie said. Jisoo stifled a chuckle and looked at Y/N who was standing a little far away, watching the river with Seo-Jun.
"Yeah, must be destiny," Jisoo replied. "Aww... that's so romantic," Rosé exclaimed and clutched onto Lisa's arm.
"So... now what? You gonna introduce us or not?" Jennie asked, smiling. Jisoo nodded and walked toward Y/N.
She stood behind her and tapped her shoulder, saying, "Hey, Y/N."
Y/N turned around and smiled at her. Seo-Jun looked between the two and decided to leave them alone for a moment.
"It looks so peaceful right?" Y/N asked referring to the river. Jisoo nodded and stood beside Y/N. The cold wind blew, caressing their faces as Y/N took a deep breath.
"I'm glad that I found you," Jisoo confessed. Y/N looked to her side and found Jisoo shyly looking down while fidgeting with her fingers.
She gently took her hand in hers and intertwined their hands. Jisoo looked up to Y/N with a racing heart and gave her a satisfied smile.
"Me too," Y/N simply replied and pulled her into a hug. Jisoo nestled her face in the crook of Y/N's neck and softly said, "This time I won't let you go."
Y/N chuckled as her the vibration resonated on Jisoo's cheek. She finally felt at peace again by Y/N's hugs and her words. The effect that she had on her was insane. Jisoo grabbed Y/N's sweater in her hand and hugged her tightly.
"Oof! Okay, I'm not going anywhere, Jisoo!" Y/N responded and this time Jisoo giggled.
They both stood there for a moment as a comfortable silence took upon them. Y/N carelessly stroked her hand on her back and said, "Best birthday ever."
Jisoo abruptly pulled apart and asked, "It's your birthday today?" Y/N smiled and nodded, saying, "Yeah, it is. And it couldn't get any better now that I've seen you."
Jisoo blushed a little at her words and rested her right hand on her cheek, thumb caressing the skin beneath. Y/N's heart raced a bit as the closeness did the tricks.
"Jisoo, I--" "Now, don't stop me this time, Y/N," she deeply whispered as her eyes darkened a little.
Y/N gulped and her lips parted as the air seemed to leave her lungs. Jisoo leaned closer, tip-toeing. She looked profoundly into her eyes and said, "Happy birthday, Y/N."
The gap narrowed and their lips finally connected. The pining anticipation that left both of them for wanting more now finally perished. Jisoo encircled her arms around her neck and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.
The kiss was soft, reassuring, and probably the most hypnotizing for both of them. Y/N felt sudden dizziness as she possessively wrapped her arms around Jisoo's waist. She tilted her head slightly and kissed her sweetly.
Jisoo felt an adrenaline rush, different from what she usually feels. Every sense inside her body woke up to the feeling of Y/N's lips against her. She flicked out her tongue, pushing it against' Y/N's lips, asking for entrance.
Y/N opened her mouth and she got a taste of strawberry against her tongue. They sensually and slowly kissed each other and pulled apart after running out of breath. They both rested their foreheads against each other and smiled.
"Seo-Jun is gonna ask me so many questions," Y/N said.
"And my members are gonna burn me alive because I didn't tell them earlier," Jisoo replied.
They both shared a laugh and pulled apart. Y/N held her hand and tugged Jisoo forward, saying, "Let's go. Everyone's waiting."
Jisoo gave her a broad smile and said, "Let's go, stranger."
