It was the day that Karina waited for.
Y/N was coming to Korea after her solo world tour. It's been 3 whole months since Karina saw her girlfriend in flesh and she couldn't be any more excited.
Y/N was her senior and was the artist from JYP Entertainment. She was pretty popular among every idol and since Karina was in SM, Y/N made friends with everyone there. No one could resist Y/N's charm.
Karina was on her way to the dance practice of the Step Back performance. Winter beside her noticed her giddy behavior and said, "Calm down, geez. It's still two hours till Y/N's flight lands."
"I-I know, but I can't. I'm just... too excited to meet her!" Karina confessed as a blush spread across her face. She looked down at her lap, biting her lower lip in embarrassment.
Winter kept her hand on her knee and said, "I know how you feel, Karina. But you have to calm yourself down. We have an important practice to do."
Karina straightened her posture and replied, "Yeah, okay. Thank you, Winter."
Reaching the building, they both reached the dance practice room, where the others were already waiting for them. Greeting their seniors, they both listened to the discussions and took notes in their minds.
Not want to disappoint a bit.
The choreographer taught each of them precisely as Karina dedicated her mind to focus on practice, but still, a piece of her drifted off to Y/N's face that she was too excited to meet.
"Okay! Let's get over it again!" the choreographer clapped his hands as they all stood in their positions leading to long, exhausting practice.

The loud cheering of fans and flashes of cameras came in view as Y/N stepped out of the airport. She waved her hands to her fans and stood prettily for the cameras. Making her way towards her designated car, Y/N sat inside as she let out a sigh of relief.
"It feels good to be back, "she said at which her manager agreed.
"Do you want to go home, or..." Manager asked as his or trailed off a little.
Y/N chuckled and said, "I'll take the or option."
"Okay, let's go!"
Y/N took out her phone as she decided to send a text to Karina, announcing her arrival, but another text by Winter took her notice. She opened the text message with a funny expression and read.
WInter: Hey, Y/N!
Winter: I have a little prank in my head for Karina. If you're in then...
Y/N: What is going on inside your devil's head?
Winter: Nah, just a small prank. Karina has been teasing us a lot lately, so...
Y/N: I'm in. What's up?
WInter: I know you're way to our building. So, come to the practice room and then you just have to avoid Karina for a little.
Y/N: Uh-huh
Winter: We will help you don't worry.
Y/N: If she breaks up with me, it'll be your fault
WInter: Funny. I'll see you later :)
Y/N: Yup! :)
Y/N shook her head as a smile played on her lips. She just couldn't help but imagine the adorable look on Karina's face, the lost puppy look.
In no time, she reached SM Entertainment's building and straight to the elevator. Y/N was craving her girlfriend's touches, but now she just had to avoid her.
"Great. What did I just get myself into?" she muttered under her breath but now she had to keep her promise.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the elevator and to the practice room. Hands sweaty in nervousness, she squared her shoulder and entered the practice room with a bright smile on her face.
The sound of the opening of the door made all the idols look around and saw Y/N standing at the entrance, waving slightly.
"Hey, guys?"
"Y/N!"
Winter shouted out loud as she ran towards her and engulfed her in a bear hug. Y/N laughed as she rubbed her back with a smile on her face.
She heard Winter whispering in her ear, "The plans all set. Now you just have to avoid."
"Roger that, Win, "Y/N replied, as her eyes traveled over to Karina, who was too shocked to even move.
After hugging each one of them, Y/N stood there, talking and telling them about her solo tour. She discussed the few upcoming happenings from her schedule.
"That's so sweet of you, Y/N!" Taeyeon said as she high-fived her.
Y/N smiled in response and saw in her peripheral vision, how Karina was standing beside BoA, staring at her with desperation in her eyes. Y/N had to bit back her urge to pull her girlfriend in a tight hug.
A few moments later, the crowd dispersed and Y/N saw herself standing alone with Karina in front of her. She saw Karina stepping forward but in an instant, Seulgi pulled Y/N towards her.
"Tell me about the foods you tried in LA. Was it delicious?"
Y/N looked at her and then glanced at Karina who was now frowning slightly. "I'm so sorry..."
Seulgi dragged her across the room and talked to her about delicacies of a few new countries. Then she abruptly left because BoA was calling her. Y/N again found herself standing alone in the corner as she saw Karina approaching her as fast as she could.
"Y/N?! Can you help me here?" Hyoyeon called her out and Y/N replied, "Yeah!"
Hyoyeon didn't actually have a problem, she just acted that her shoelace was stuck and won't untangle. Y/N whispered, "Unnie, this is getting awful. She looks so sad..."
"Oh, enjoy this Y/N! Nothing's gonna happen, trust me, "Hyoyeon replied to her with a sly wink.
Y/N gave her an awkward smile and glanced at Karina, who was now rigorously dancing to the choreography with earphones in her ears.
"That's it. Fuck the prank, "Y/N muttered under her breath and stood up, approaching Karina.
But, again.
"Y/N!" Wendy shouted out.
Y/N turned around and saw Wendy waving for her to come over. She gritted her teeth and went over to see Winter and Wendy discussing something in hushed voices.
"What?" Y/N asked, arrogantly.
Winter looked up at her and said, "Hey, I know that you're unhappy about this, but look, we can help you."
"Help me? You're gonna get me in trouble girl!" Y/N shout out loud as Wendy had to shush her down with her hand.
"Don't shout!" Wendy whisper-yelled. "We're trying to help you. We will all leave and you can have alone time with her. How does that sound?"
Y/N pondered over her words and asked, "Really? You all are leaving?"
Wendy and Winter shared a glance before nodding together. Y/N smiled and said, "That'd be all. Thank you!"
"Let me just inform others..."Wendy said and went off to talk to others.
Y/N looked at Winter and said, "Well, how did you like your prank? She looks dangerously angry this time."
Winter giggled lowly, replying, "You'll be fine. She loves you."
"I hope so..."

After the efforts of 30 minutes, the girls finally went out of the dance practice room as Karina saw them.
Y/N watched how Karina plugged off her earphones and picked up her bag, trying to walk out of the practice room. But, Y/N shouted out.
"Karina!"
Surprisingly, Karina didn't stop in her tracks and she kept going towards the door handle. However, Y/N held her wrist, stopping her from moving ahead.
"Hey. I'm back, "Y/N softly said, knowing that this was going to be hard.
Karina jerked her wrist off and said, "Good for you."
Y/N rushed forward and stood in between the door and her girlfriend, blocking her from going further. For the first time in 3 months, Y/N got to see her with her own eyes, in flesh and still as beautiful as she left her.
"Leave, "Karina sternly said in her deep voice.
Y/N gulped, knowing how much it affected her, and said, "I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry for avoiding you."
Karina's eyes flickered up to her for a few moments and then closed them, exhaling loudly, and then said, "You know what? If you want to stay there, then stay. I'm gonna practice again."
Y/N saw Karina turning around and took this as her opportunity to hug her from behind. She trapped the girl in her embrace and heard some struggling noises from her mouth.
"Let... me... go!"
Y/N rested her chin on her shoulder and inhaled in her sweet fragrance, remembering how much she missed it, and said, "No. I'm not letting you go. Not when you'll tell me to."
The next moment, Karina stopped struggling in her grip and a smile crept over Y/N's lips as she thought that she had finally calmed down.
"I'm so sorry-- Ouch!"
Karina just pulled a trick by punching her with her elbow in her ribs. Y/N winced at the impact as her grip loosened and she clutched on her stomach.
"That's what you get when you try to control me, "Karina said out loud and turned around to see her.
She saw Y/N kneeling down, clutching her stomach. Her eyebrows furrowed in worry as she stepped forward, saying, "Hey? Y/N? Don't play with me. It's not funny."
Y/N was still in the position, head tucked in. Karina crouched down and sat close in front of her, asking, "Are you okay? Did I hurt you? Y/N? Hey? Answer me!"
Karina reached out her hand for Y/N and just then, Y/N held her hand and lifted her head up, saying, "Got ya!"
Karina's expressions turned into 100 shades of anger and she said, "Do you think this is funny?"
"I'm sorry, baby. I know that you hate pranks like these but you weren't listening to me, so I have to!" Y/N said, trying to reason out.
"Don't talk to me. I'm going home, "Karina said, and she was about to stand up when Y/N cupped her face and held her in place.
She looked straight into her eyes and they both let out an inaudible gasp. They both, gazed into the eyes of each other, after a long time and found themselves finding their home in them. Y/N caressed her jaw with her thumb and saw how Karina's eyes soften at the touch.
"I'm sorry, Karina. I... didn't want to do that, "she softly whispered, not wanting anyone to hear their words in that lonely room.
"I missed you, "Karina said, a lump forming in her throat as her lower quivered a little.
The way she felt intensely about Y/N was anything but pure bliss to her. Karina loved Y/N like she never loved someone before, physically and mentally, she loved her so much.
And not having Y/N around was worst for Karina.
Y/N smiled and replied, "I missed you too, baby. So much."
Tears spilled from the corner of her eyes as she choked out, "Then why did you avoid me? Do you like it when I feel sad?"
Y/N wiped her tears off as she leaned closer and shook her head, whispering, "Hey, shush! Don't cry, baby. Don't. I'm sorry if I hurt you that badly. I'm really sorry."
Karina gazed at her, feeling the proximity as she let her eyes travel down to her lips. She lifted her hand and traced Y/N's lower lip with her thumb, saying, "I missed your lips on mine."
Y/N's breath hitched in her throat as she just realized how the emotional atmosphere lifted off quickly and tension took in place. She watched how Karina's eyes were fixed on her and the grip on her hand got certainly tighter.
"Weren't you crying a few seconds ago?" Y/N whispered to her.
"I don't know what I did and what I am going to do now..." and with that said, Karina pushed her lips against hers, kissing her passionately.
She slightly pushed on her shoulders to let her sit on the floor and straddled her. Y/N couldn't take in a single breath as she rested her hands on her waist and let her girlfriend kiss her senselessly.
Karina gently massaged her shoulder as she tilted her head and deepened the kiss, craving every move of hers. Y/N felt her heart thrumming inside her chest as she smiled in between, letting Karina know that she loved it.
Breathlessly, Karina pulled apart and pressed her lips on Y/N's jaw. She trailed towards her ear and pressed a soft kiss behind it, whispering huskily, "God, I missed you so much."
Y/N could feel herself burning up with every touch and word of hers, and decided to pull away before the situation goes out of hand. She pulled Karina's face back and looked into her eyes.
"You're getting good at making me lose my mind nowadays, "she said at which Karina chuckled lowly.
Y/N pressed a kiss on her forehead and said, "I love you."
"I love you too, hun, "Karina replied and pressed a chaste kiss on her lips.
"Good to know, "Y/N said and pulled her into a much-awaited hug, feeling her warm, petite frame pressed against hers.
Karina snuggled closer in her embrace and let out a giggle. Y/N stroked her hair and asked, "What was that?"
"You were really bad at playing along with the prank, "Karina confessed.
Y/N pulled apart and asked, "You knew? All along?"
Karina giggled and replied, "Of course. I know you, love... And your acting too."
They both stared at each other before bursting into a laughter fit, filling the practice room with their giggles.
