It was new to Y/N. To see her girlfriend acting like that. To see her girlfriend being annoyed and frustrated at every little thing she did.
"Why do you have to click your pen so many times?"
"Why can't you just stop humming?"
"Stop acting cute. I'm tired of it."
"Don't lean on me. Can't you sit straight?"
"Stop eating from my plate, will you? It bugs me!"
And every time Y/N would just stand up with a frown on her face and an aching heart. Clearly couldn't get as to why her girlfriend was acting like that.
"I'm sorry to irritate you, Seulgi."
It was like, every day when Seulgi came home from her busy schedule, they would just fight. Even on small things. Not that Y/N wanted to do that, but whenever she saw Seulgi's slightly harsh tone, it triggered her.
"I'm sorry if I made you angry, but try to understand, Seulgi. You're not a kid anymore, "Y/N retorted as she ate the piece of vegetable without looking at her.
Seulgi exhaled out loudly and ate her spoonful of rice before replying, "And you're my girlfriend. So act like one."
"Excuse me?" Y/N finally looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. "I'm your girlfriend, not your slave that you scold or curse at and I would not say a thing in response!"
It had been going on for more than a week and it worried Y/N. She thought that their relationship was breaking apart. That this would be the end.
However, she loved the girl so much. She didn't want their relationship to end after only 8 months.
"There has to be some kind of solution to this problem, "Y/N muttered as she looked at Seulgi's back, who was sleeping far away, on the other end of the bed.

One week later.
It was finally a day off for the girls of Red Velvet and they couldn't be happier about the fact. After working so hard on promotions and new albums, they deserved a day off or two to rest and enjoy like normal human beings.
So, it was Wendy who decided to meet up and go to the mall for a shopping spree with the girls. She didn't forget to invite Y/N along.
"We will be late, Y/N!" Seulgi shouted from the living room of their shared apartment while looking at the watch.
Y/N was still in her room, getting ready for the outing with the girls. After making Seulgi wait for more or less ten minutes, Y/N stepped out of the room.
Seulgi turned around instantly, "Why are you so slow--"
But, she found herself speechless as she stared at her girlfriend.
Y/N was looking ever so beautiful in her simple and casual look. Wearing a white tee-shirt and dark-washed jeans, Y/N wore her long blazer and paired it with minimal make-up and accessories.
Just as Seulgi saw Y/N for the first time.
"Wow, "Seulgi breathed out and a blush formed on Y/N's face causing her to smile broadly.
"Thank you for your compliment, babe, "Y/N replied and Seulgi looked up at her eyes and then averted away, clearing her throat.
"Let's go. T-They are waiting for us, "Seulgi stuttered in reply and walked out of the apartment followed by a smiling Y/N.
Reaching downstairs, there stood the black van in which they were going to travel. Seulgi sat in the front seat with their manager and Y/N sat in the back with the girls.
"Hey, Y/N! Nice to see you, girl!" Joy said and pulled her in a side hug which Y/N reciprocated happily.
"How have you been?" Irene asked and Y/N turned to her other side to smile at the latter.
"I've been better. What about you all? How are you all feeling about your day off?"
"Oh, I plan to enjoy every second of it, "Yeri said and Wendy nodded in agreement.
Y/N chuckled and replied, "Just don't forget to take a rest too. You guys work so hard that sometimes I feel dizzy just by seeing you all."
"Same. But you get habitual of it when you do it to earn money, "Joy commented and everyone else, including their manager, laughed at that.
Except for the one who seemed to be irritated by all the chirpy and giggly behavior.
"It was not even funny, "Seulgi said and everyone stopped laughing as they looked straight at her.
Y/N frowned after seeing her expressions through the rearview mirror in the car and Yeri leaned forward, whispering, "What's up with Seulgi Unnie?"
Joy glanced at Seulgi and then at Y/N before nodding secretly. She figured out something.
"Anyways!" Wendy said out loud, trying to change the topic. "I am thinking about what we should do first when we reach the mall?"
"Oh, I know!" Yeri answered and then the conversation flowed on as Y/N added her opinions and even laughed if something funny was insinuated.
After thirty minutes of the ride, they reached the mall that was surprisingly not jam-packed on a weekend.
The girls wore their masks and caps to avoid getting noticed by any nosy person. They wanted to enjoy the day and nothing else.
Y/N walked into the shopping mall alongside Seulgi as she tried to start a conversation.
"Seul--"
But, Seulgi moved forward, leaving Y/N with her words hanging from her mouth. She thought that today they might enjoy their day together and act like a normal couple. However, the way Seulgi was behaving, they were far from being normal.
Joy noticed every interaction of the couple and she walked forward, clinging onto Y/N's arm, and said, "Come on, Y/N. Let's enjoy!"
Y/N looked at her and gave her a small smile with a nod. They walked ahead while the other three were behind them, sticking close to each other as their eyes wandered to every store and people around them.
Joy was an active shopper and she dragged Y/N along with her every time she saw something fascinating.
"What's that?" Joy asked, pointing at something that didn't catch Y/N's eyes.
"What's what?"
Joy again yanked her arm and said, "Come on! Let's check it out."
After doing some shopping and a whole lot of window shopping, they all came to the food corner of the mall. Hungry after walking for so long.
"I want some noodles, "Yeri said and Y/N scanned through the menu.
"I will get what you guys are having, "she announced and Wendy nodded as she stood up, saying, "I'll order. Want to come with me, Seul?"
Y/N looked at her girlfriend who was busy scrolling her phone, looked at Wendy, and said, "Yes, please."
Y/N who thought that this might be her chance to talk with Seulgi, slumped down in her chair, feeling upset about her girlfriend's weird behavior.
Right when Seulgi was out of the radar, Irene, Yeri, and Joy leaned forward and looked at Y/N with intriguing eyes.
"What happened?" Irene asked.
Y/N gave her a small smile and shook her head, replying, "Nothing. I'm just tired of all the walking."
"Not that. What happened between you and Seulgi Unnie?" Joy asked, emphasizing her words.
Y/N was slightly flustered at her abrupt question and replied, "W-What do you mean?"
Yeri rolled her eyes this time and said, "We're not blind, you know. We can see the tension between you both. She's avoiding you, right?"
"Really? It's that obvious?" Y/N asked in disbelief.
Joy rested her hand on her shoulder and answered, "Yes, Y/N. The way... Seulgi Unnie is behaving. It's not normal."
Y/N sighed and rubbed her palms on her face and replied, "You're right about that Joy. Seulgi is... We are always fighting every day. It scares me that she will break up with me."
"Don't say that. We won't let it happen, "Yeri assured at which Y/N gave her a sad smile.
"Thanks, Yeri."
Joy, on the other hand, was gazing at Seulgi who was with Wendy and she seemed pissed off. She noticed her body language, trying to decipher all the signs that Seulgi was giving.
And then, it all clicked.
"Y/N, tell me something, "Joy started as she leaned forward, grabbing the girls' attention.
Y/N nodded for her to continue.
"Have you both ever gone past... kisses?" Joy asked, eyes set on Seulgi.
Y/N had her eyes wide at the question as she blushed profusely, ducking her head down due to shyness.
Irene rested her hand on Y/N's and squeezed it, saying, "It's just us, Y/N. Don't worry, we won't judge you."
Y/N looked up again as her eyes trailed off to her girlfriend and she shook her head, responding, "We... haven't."
"That's it!" Joy exclaimed, making the other three look at her with perplexion.
"Care to explain, Joy?" Irene asked, her brows furrowed.
"She's frustrated, "Joy answered.
"Oh, congratulations Sherlock, "Yeri said and shook her head with dismay.
Joy waved her hand in dismissal and scooted her chair forward, restarting, "No, no. That's not what I meant! Look. Seulgi Unnie has this repressed frustration in her not because of her wild schedule or anything else, but because of the lack of intimacy in your relationship."
"What?" Y/N could only gape at Joy. She was too stunned to speak.
"Yes, my dear Y/N, "Joy looked at her with a teasing smile. "Seulgi Unnie wants more from you, but she's, seemingly, too timid to speak up. That's why her mind is all over the place, and, of course, by being aggravated with you."
"Now that Joy said it... I think I can see it too, "Irene said. "She looks irritated by everything around her."
Y/N, who still had her expressions agape, looked at Seulgi and felt her heart pounding loudly against her ribs. Was it true? Was that the reason why Seulgi acted like that? A thousand different questions, similar to these, ran through her head.
"But... why didn't she say it if that was the reason?" she asked.
Joy leaned back as they watched the duo coming back to the table with their order and she replied, "As I said, she's skittish."
"Hey, guys. Sorry for the long wait, "Wendy said and kept the food that they ordered on the table.
Seulgi kept the cans of coke one by one on the table too, but with a slight harshness. In an instant, Joy stood up and took Seulgi by her shoulders, saying, "Unnie! I want to sit with Wendy Unnie."
"Joy, I was about to sit--"
"Please..." Joy gave her a cute puppy face that Seulgi had to sigh and nod her face before stepping aside.
Y/N noticed the subtle smirk on Joy's face as they shared a look and saw Seulgi hesitantly sitting beside her.
"Wow, this looks heavenly, "Yeri said as she started to munch down on her food.
Y/N picked up her chopsticks as she looked to her side to see Seulgi already gobbling down her food with coke going down, simultaneously.
If Joy said it was real then what if I...
Y/N's thought trailed off as she kept her hand on Seulgi's thigh and gave it a nuanced squeeze. As a result, Seulgi started to cough badly. Y/N had to rub her back rigorously to help her calm down.
"Why do you eat in such a hurry? Your food is not going anywhere, Seulgi, "Irene said while passing Y/N some tissues.
"I-I'm sorry, Unnie, "Seulgi managed to say in between her coughing fit as Y/N wiped off her mouth.
"Here, drink this, "Y/N gave her the can and Seulgi took it hastily before downing it in one gulp.
She wiped her mouth before releasing a long breath and glimpsed at Y/N with wide eyes. She averted her eyes as a subtle rosiness on her face didn't go unseen by Y/N.
In conclusion, Y/N's theory was proved, also, Joy's words.
Seulgi was indeed feeling randy.

After the shopping spree and going on to one or two more destinations and having an expensive dinner, they all reached their respective homes.
And that meant, Y/N and Seulgi being alone after a long day.
Seulgi immediately took a shower and changed into her comfortable pajamas. She decided to spend the rest of her night sitting in front of the television and scrolling through different dramas that she hadn't had the time to watch before.
As for Y/N, she was determined to help Seulgi and maybe take their relationship to the next level.

After taking a very much-needed shower, Y/N casually changed into one of Seulgi's white shirts and felt the familiar fragrance hugging her. She loved the feeling.
Walking out of the bedroom, Y/N saw Seulgi sitting on the couch while she mindlessly changed the channels on tv. She decided to sit down next to her and finally, have a long-awaited talk.
"Seulgi, "she announced her arrival as she comfortably settled down beside her, keeping a small space between them.
Y/N saw Seulgi gulping visibly as she saw the slight tremble in her grip on the remote. Is it that bad?
"What do you want?" Seulgi replied, her quavering tone didn't go unheard by Y/N.
"That's the same thing I wanted to ask you, Seul, "Y/N said, her voice soft, trying to coax the girl.
Seulgi, who was shocked after hearing that, looked at her with wide eyes, asking, "What do you mean?"
Y/N took the remote from her hand and kept it at the table and held her hands in hers, caressing the skin with her thumb. She looked up with somber eyes and gave her a small smile.
"Tell me, Seul. What is it that's bugging you? What is it that you want... from me?" Y/N questioned as her voice was laced with utter sincerity.
Seulgi looked away as she bit her lower lip in anxiousness. She wasn't expecting those questions from Y/N.
"Look at me, Seul, "Y/N ordered and Seulgi grudgingly turned her head to look at her girlfriend.
In an instant, Y/N leaned forward and pressed her lips against hers, eliciting a soft gasp from Seulgi. Y/N kissed her, but this time her kisses were soft and sensual, almost appealing to Seulgi in so many different ways.
Pushing her lips a little harder this time, Y/N held her nape as she caressed the skin beneath her fingertips. Seulgi shuddered at the simple touch as she tilted her head to get deeper.
Y/N willingly accepted her advances.
Seulgi's hands were now around her waist, fisting her shirt in her hand as she pulled apart and whispered against her lips, "You look so gorgeous in my shirt. Fuck, I love you so much."
The idea of Seulgi cursing sent jolting shivers down Y/N's spine. Seulgi dived in again and kissed her girlfriend a little harshly this time. She pushed Y/N lightly by her shoulders as they both lay on the couch with Seulgi above her.
Y/N felt her heart thrumming wildly inside as wrapped her arms around Seulgi's neck, pulling her closer and trying to indicate that she was indeed ready to fulfill any of her needs.
Seulgi's hand slithered inside her shirt and she caressed the warm skin with her cold fingers, causing Y/N to whimper in between the kiss.
"Say it, Seul. I want to hear it from you, "Y/N breathlessly said in between the kisses.
Seulgi rested her forehead against Y/N's, replying, "I want you. Gosh, I want you so bad that it makes me overwhelmed sometimes."
Y/N chuckled softly and caressed her cheek, saying, "See. It wasn't so hard. You just had to ask me, Seul."
"I'm sorry, "Seulgi inclined her head to press another kiss on her lips. "I'm sorry for not saying it before."
"It's okay, Seul..." Y/N's voice trailed off as Seulgi's kisses trailed down her neck, giving it some open-mouthed kisses.
Y/N tangled her fingers in her hair and sighed out loud with satisfaction. Seulgi smiled against her skin as she nipped on the skin causing Y/N to bite her lower lip.
"Let's continue this in the bedroom, "Seulgi whispered against her skin and Y/N nodded in an instant.
She let herself be dragged by her girlfriend into their shared bedroom to finally have their first night together, not to mention a passionate one. Exploring each other as they had never before.

The next morning.
When the shining light finally fell on Seulgi's eyes, she opened them and yawned as she stretched her arms upwards.
"Don't move..." Y/N's groggy voice made her look down and saw her lovely girlfriend sleeping beside her, arms wrapped around her waist and snuggling into her side.
Seulgi chuckled at Y/N's dorky behavior and pressed a soft kiss on the top of her head, saying, "Good morning, my love."
"It's too early for that... Sleep, "Y/N mumbled against her skin as she rested her head a little closer.
Seulgi giggled lowly and stared at her face that had her smiling and relaxed for the first time in forever. She realized how much her sexual frustration took a lot of interaction time from them. She realized that she should've spoken earlier, but last night was a good choice too.
"I'm sorry for being a jerk this whole time, "Seulgi said while brushing the back of her fingers against Y/N's upper arm. "I... couldn't admit that I needed physical interaction. I thought that the whole thing of me being irritated with everything, and especially you, was due to my hectic schedule."
"You should've talked to me, Seul, "Y/N said and Seulgi blushed, thinking that she heard everything she said.
"You were not sleeping?"
Y/N shook her head and replied, "You practically woke me up... I'm just being my lazy self and enjoying the warmth of my girlfriend."
Seulgi smiled and pulled her in a tight embrace as she exhaled heavily. She continued, "I was... not sure how to put my feelings in front of you. There weren't enough words to say that I wanted to... you know."
Y/N chuckled, "Yeah, to fuck the daylights out of me. I got it."
"I didn't say that!" Seulgi retorted after blushing profusely because of the words Y/N used.
"But you didn't deny it. Did you?" Y/N asked, smirking slightly.
"I hate you, "Seulgi said as a smile crept on her lips.
"I love you too, Seul, "Y/N replied and pressed a kiss against her throat, making Seulgi giggle lightly.
"I'm ticklish. Stop doing that, "Seulgi said.
"It didn't seem like that last night, "Y/N snapped back. "Weren't you telling me to--"
"Okay, stop! Jeez, woman, "Seulgi playfully slapped her shoulder and Y/N laughed out loud.
Seulgi stared at her girlfriend who was now laughing quite melodiously and then she joined in too, enjoying the way they both were the perfect combination for each other.
And at that moment, Seulgi swore that she'd marry that girl. Sooner or later, but she would.
