"Unnie? You okay?" Jennie asked as she sat beside Jisoo, and rubbed her shoulder in a comforting manner.
Jisoo let out a trembling breath as she buried her face in her hands. She felt like all the weight of this world was on her shoulder. She felt miserable, tired, frustrated, lonely, and helpless all at the same time.
Rosé sat on the other side of Jisoo and furrowed her brows, and said, "Jisoo Unnie... Please talk to us. You're not this quiet. What happened?"
Jisoo found herself engulfed in a thick fog of troubles, leaving her senses muffled by everything else around her. It was an unusual situation for the group as she was typically the one who lifted their spirits, but now she had hit rock bottom. Her fellow members were left perplexed, struggling to find a way to offer her the same comfort she had always provided for them.
"I know how Jisoo Unnie will cheer up!" Lisa said cheerfully as she inched closer to her. While holding something behind her back, she sat down on the floor in front of Jisoo.
"Ta-da!" She cheered as she pulled out the take-out box and opened it, revealing Jisoo's favorite, chicken skewers.
Jisoo felt herself getting more overwhelmed. She hates being this down and hopeless in front of her members. She lifted her head slowly and gave Lisa a weak smile, saying, "Thanks, Lisa-yah... But I'm not in a mood. Sorry..."
Lisa's happy face turned into a frown after hearing that. Jennie and Rosé shared a concerned look, they both know Jisoo doesn't reject her favorite food, even if she is very sick also. Holding onto her shoulder, Jennie softly asked, "Unnie... is there something bothering you?"
At this Jisoo turned her head to look at her, and said, "Jennie-yah, I am going outside. Take care of the dorm and these two. Okay?"
"But, it's almost night, Unnie. You shouldn't go outside--" Jisoo held her hand and gave her a pleading gaze and said, "Please..."
Jennie couldn't look away from her pleading look, so she didn't argue and let her go. Jisoo took her phone, her mask, and a black cap and quietly left the house. She intentionally didn't call her manager because she wanted to be alone for some time.

Wandering on the pedestal, Y/N happily hummed along with the song she was hearing from her headphones, BLACKPINK song to be specific. She went out to take some groceries for herself from a 24/7 store.
As she gazed up at the glittering night sky, Y/N released a long sigh, and a smile spread across her face. The gentle breeze rustled her hair and brought a sense of calm to her soul. Lost in the tranquility of the moment, she softly hummed a tune to herself.
Suddenly, her gaze fell upon a figure on the side of the road. As the person stepped into the street, Y/N's peaceful reverie was shattered as she watched the woman disregard the red signal.
As the car raced towards them, Y/N swiftly grabbed hold of the lady's wrist and pulled her close, narrowly avoiding the collision. The lady's breath caught in her throat as she stumbled into a stranger's chest, their arms instinctively wrapping around her.
In a state of shock, she held onto the stranger tightly, feeling the warmth of their embrace soothe her nerves.
"Are you okay?" Y/N asked as she panted heavily from the adrenaline rushing through her veins. She pulled her backward until they were away from the road. The lady buried her face in her chest, she felt herself melting a little.
Y/N gently pulled apart as she looked at the lady. She was wearing a mask and a black cap. Her raven black hair was falling on her shoulder and she wore a black leather jacket.
The lady's arms were still around Y/N's waist as she stared at her. She was kind of mesmerized by Y/N's face. The lady felt her heartbeat quickening as she felt Y/N rubbing her forearm gently. She looked down at her arm and then again at Y/N's face, noticing her concerned face.
"Hey, are you here? Are you listening?" Y/N asked as she noticed the lady looking at her, or more like staring.
"I-I am okay... Thank you," the lady replied. Y/N's ears perked up in recognition. She felt that she knew that voice. "Where I have heard this voice before...?" she thought to herself.
The lady started to move apart and bowed down, thanking her again. She was about to walk away when she felt a tug at her wrist. The warm contact of her skin, send shivers down her spine. The lady turned around at asked, "Y-Yes?"
Y/N's eyes widened again as she heard her voice and she blurted out, "I'm sorry but... are you Kim Jisoo?!"
The woman's gaze expanded as she scanned the vicinity, ensuring no one had overheard her words. Her attention then shifted to Y/N, and she tugged down her face mask slightly, unveiling her stunning visage.
In response, Y/N gasped audibly and instinctively covered her mouth with a hand. It's worth noting that the woman had been a die-hard BLINK for years, yearning to cross paths with her beloved idols. However, fate had a different plan in store for her.
Jisoo's lips tugged into an involuntary smile as she replied, "Yes. Yes, I am."
Y/N let go of her hand and started squealing and jumping in excitement. "Oh my god! You're Kim--" But was interrupted when Jisoo covered her mouth with her palm and shushed her, "Shh! You're gonna get me in trouble!"
Y/N realized that Jisoo was standing way too close to her. Her breath hitched in her throat as she felt Jisoo's other hand on the back of her head, while she scanned her surroundings. She noticed that Jisoo had to tip-toe to meet her eye level, which made Y/N smile a little against her hand.
Jisoo looked back at Y/N and noticed her staring at her. She slowly removed her hand and gazed into her eyes, but couldn't move. Her problems felt far away as she felt herself drowning in Y/N's deep eyes.
Eventually, she cleared her throat and said, "Um... I should go..." But her heart denied it. She didn't want to, or at least without knowing her name. Jisoo slowly backed away, facing Y/N, and started walking backward.
"It was... nice to meet you..." Jisoo said as she waved awkwardly. Y/N reached out for her hand as she said, "Jisoo, look behind--" And before you know it, Jisoo tripped over the pedestal stone and fell on her head.
"Jisoo!" Y/N shouted as she rushed forward and crouched down to look at her, but Jisoo already passed out. Y/N cupped her face and slapped her cheek lightly, "Hey, Jisoo! Wake up!" But after trying for a few more minutes, Y/N decided to take her home with her.
- - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - -
"Ugh!" Jisoo groaned as she screwed shut her eyes and held her head with both hands. It hurt like hell. She turned to the other side and felt something soft against her face. Slowly opening her eyes, she noticed that it was a pillow. She turned her head around and, squinted her eyes at the dimly lit room.
It was not her room. She was not on her bed. And this was definitely not any other members' room, too. Jisoo panicked at the thought that somebody has kidnapped her. But why would they put her in a cozy room?
The sudden opening and closing of the door startled Jisoo as she turned to look at the person, who had just come in.
"Hey... are you okay?" Y/N asked as she slowly approached Jisoo and sat at the edge of the bed. Jisoo gasped and her eyes widened as she remembered the happenings. She looked at Y/N, and she saw that she was wearing a comfortable white hoodie and her hair fell loosely on her face.
Y/N reached out, hesitantly, covered her hand with hers, and asked, "Are you okay? I took you to my house after you passed out. I hope your head doesn't hurt that much."
Jisoo gradually sat up with Y/N's help and rested her head on the wall behind her, groaning. She rubbed her forehead and replied, "I... I think I'm fine. But, my head hurts really bad. Oof!"
Y/N stifled a chuckle as she stared down at the floor. Jisoo's heart skipped a beat as she looked at Y/N. Her harmonious giggle caused Jisoo to have a warm and heart-fluttering feeling inside her stomach. Her lips tugged into a smile for the second time today, only because of Y/N. Somehow, her problems felt so little to her.
"Of course, it's gonna hurt. You fell on your head and on a fricking pedestal!" Y/N said as she leaned forward to the bedside drawer and pulled out some medicines. She popped one tablet and held it for Jisoo.
Jisoo, like a lost child, quietly held out her palm and just stared at Y/N's pretty face. Y/N poured her a glass of water and gave it to her, but pulled away instantly. Jisoo looked up to meet her eyes and tilted her head in confusion. "What happened?" she asked.
"Have you eaten? Like dinner or anything else?" Y/N asked. Jisoo shook her head and at this Y/N pouted.
Jisoo's cheeks felt hot and she blushed at her cute action. "Cute..." she unconsciously mumbled under her breath. Y/N took the medicine from her hand and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
Jisoo blinked and asked, "Why...?" Y/N sighed and said, "Because you can't have that medicine without eating something. It's gonna cause you a stomach ache."
Jisoo's mouth turned into an 'O' shape as nodded in understanding. Y/N stood up and held out her hand. Jisoo looked at her hand and then at her face at which Y/N smiled and said, "Come on. Let me cook you something."
She grudgingly rested her hand on Y/N's and, felt the warmth of her soft hand. She removed the duvet and swung her legs and stood up. Jisoo looked down to see that she was only in her plain white T-shirt.
"I took off your jacket. Thought that it would be uncomfortable while sleeping," Y/N said and she saw Jisoo smiling at her. "Thank you," she said.
Y/N blushed at this as she turned her head around and tugged at Jisoo's hand, and they both walked out of the room towards the kitchen on the same floor.
Reaching the kitchen, Y/N let Jisoo sit on the dining table and she started searching for ingredients in her fridge.
"You don't have to just cook for me. I can eat some snacks, too," Jisoo said. Y/N turned to look at her and rested both her hands on the counter, and said, "You're lucky. I haven't eaten, too. So say... would you like to have some chicken noodle soup?"
Jisoo's eyes lightened up as she said, "You had me at chicken."
Y/N chuckled as she took out the large pot and heated the oil in it. Jisoo just propped her elbow on the table and, rested her chin on her palm. She smiled as she looked at Y/N working her way expertly into the kitchen. She loved the feeling of being with Y/N and also being treated by her.

"I ate so much..." Jisoo said as she leaned on her chair and gently patted her stomach. Y/N wiped her mouth with a napkin as she smiled, and asked, "Did you like it?"
Jisoo straightened up and leaned forward with a huge smile on her face as she replied, "Like it? I loved it! And-- Wait! You didn't tell me your name!"
Y/N giggled at her cuteness as she unconsciously pinched Jisoo's nose tip and said, "Y/N. Your biggest fan."
Jisoo's heart pounded at the proximity as she blushed furiously. Her smile turned into a nervous grin, and asked, "M-My biggest fan?"
Y/N nodded, "Mhmm. I am! Who isn't? You're too precious to be avoided, Ms. Kim Jisoo."
"But, there are people who hate me..." Jisoo said in a timid voice as the truth hit her hard again. The burden and the feeling of being miserable were slowly dawning on her again. Her shoulders slumped down as her head started aching. She held her head in her hands and said, "God... this headache."
Y/N abruptly stood up and ran to her room, to take the medicine. She hurriedly reached towards Jisoo and gave her the medicine and said, "Here, take this. You'll feel better."
Jisoo popped the tablet in her mouth and gulped it down with water. She felt Y/N's hand slowly rubbing her back, and she sighed slowly in a little comfort.
"Come on. Let's sit on the couch," Y/N said as she tugged Jisoo with her and, made their way to the living room.
Jisoo plopped on the couch as Y/N sat beside her and asked, "What did you say earlier... what does that mean? Who is hating you?"
Jisoo rubbed her face with her palm and replied, "There are many... Don't you see them on the internet?"
"I do. But, I don't bother to get that on my head. Come on Jisoo, you're one of the bravest idols I've seen. And you have never failed to prove that. Why are you so bothered this time?" Y/N asked. She furrowed her brows and stared concerningly at the girl in front of her.
Jisoo has always said that herself about how haters are gonna hate, and she is very thankful to the BLINKs who love and support her. But, this time, it was something else.
"Tell me. What's bothering you? Maybe this stranger can help you," Y/N said as she pointed to herself.
Jisoo cracked a smile and raised her eyebrow teasingly, and asked, "And why should I trust a stranger with my secrets?"
Y/N rolled her eyes and said, "I brought you to my house and made you some food and, you're questioning my loyalty as a BLINK? That's not fair, Kim Jisoo."
Jisoo chuckled at her response as she said, "You're right. I am sorry. You know... sometimes a stranger can understand you better than your close family."
Y/N nodded and asked, "So tell me. I am free and all ears."
Jisoo let out a heavy breath before beginning, "It's no secret that we're gearing up for our highly-anticipated return. Our devoted fans have set their expectations high, and the pressure is on. But on top of all that, I also have my acting commitments to juggle. The directors keep requesting more of my time for the drama, while my managers and company demand my attention for the comeback preparations."
Jisoo vented her frustration, expressing how initially she excelled in her work, but as time passed, it seemed like her job consumed her entirely. The pressure from her supporters and critics weighed heavily on her, making her feel suffocated.
She couldn't even spare a moment for her personal life. The feeling was overwhelming, and she expressed it by pulling on her hair and clenching her teeth in frustration.
As Y/N withdrew her hands from her hair, she expressed concern, "You're going to cause yourself harm if you keep this up! Please, look at me." Gently cupping Jisoo's face, she encouraged her to face her. Jisoo's weary eyes met Y/N's gaze as her cheeks were compressed by the gentle hold.
"You are not defined by the challenges that you face. I believe in you and your ability to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Remember that you are strong and capable, and you have already conquered so much in your life. Your family is proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself too. When you feel overwhelmed, take a moment to remind yourself of your inner strength and resilience. I have faith in you, Kim Jisoo. You can do this, just as you have overcome challenges before," Y/N softly said as she gazed deeply into her eyes.
The weight of Jisoo's struggles suddenly lifted as she absorbed Y/N's words. It was as if a warm embrace enveloped her, soothing the ache in her heart. Y/N's unwavering belief in her abilities filled Jisoo with a sense of courage she hadn't felt in a long time.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she recognized the immense impact of those simple yet powerful words. At that moment, Jisoo realized that she was not alone in her struggles and that someone genuinely cared about her well-being. It was a heart-clutching moment, one that she would never forget.
Y/N couldn't help but notice the tears glistening in Jisoo's eyes. Without hesitation, she pulled her into a tight embrace, wrapping her arms around Jisoo's trembling body. She could feel the weight of Jisoo's emotions and pain as she buried her face in her shoulder. Gently, Y/N placed her hand on Jisoo's back, offering her a sense of comfort and support.
As Jisoo's tears flowed freely, Y/N could feel her pain and sadness. She held Jisoo close, letting her know that she was there for her. Jisoo clutched onto Y/N's hoodie, holding on tightly as if she never wanted to let go. Y/N scooched closer, until their knees touched, allowing Jisoo to feel the warmth and safety of their embrace.
At that moment, Y/N could feel Jisoo's vulnerability, but also her trust. They stayed that way for a while, without words, just holding each other tightly. Y/N knew that sometimes, the greatest comfort was simply being there for someone when they needed it most
Y/N gently rubbed her hand on her back as she murmured in her ear, "You're very strong, Jisoo. You're one of the strongest women I know."
Jisoo pulled apart and looked at Y/N. Her cheeks were stained with tears but still, she looked beautiful more than anything in Y/N's eyes. "A-Are you telling the truth?" Jisoo asked, her heart racing.
Y/N nodded continuously and said, "Yes, you're an inspiration for so many people, including me."
Jisoo chuckled lowly as she wiped her tears and said, "Aish... I don't cry easily. It's after so many months that I have cried."
"But, you feel good now?" Y/N asked. Jisoo smiled and held her hand as she said, "Very. Thank you, Y/N..."
Her name on her lips felt so beautiful that, Y/N's heart pounded and she felt butterflies in her stomach. Blushing a little, Y/N cleared her throat and said, "Y-Your welcome... I-I am gonna bring you some water!"
She stood up to go to the kitchen, but Jisoo's foot caused her to stumble forward. "Whoa!" and Y/N fell above Jisoo on the couch.
Y/N slowly opened her eyes as she saw Jisoo beneath her, already staring. She felt their bodies flush together and, her hands on Jisoo's shoulder. Jisoo's were on her waist and their faces were only centimeters apart.
They both blushed furiously as they felt their heartbeats pounding against each other's chests. "I-I am sorry--" Jisoo shook her head subtly as she said in her deep voice, "Don't complain..."
Y/N felt a shiver running down her spine at Jisoo's deep voice and, her intense look. She felt Jisoo's hand slowly moving up her waist to her nape. Her thumbs slowly rub in circles as she said, "You're beautiful, Y/N..."
"Not as much as you," Y/N unconsciously said as her eyes widened in shock. Jisoo laughed at this as she whispered, "Thank you... Not only for the compliment but for everything."
She trailed her eyes across Y/N's face and they settled on her lips. Y/N's whole body plummeted with adrenaline as she saw Jisoo slowly leaning in. They both closed their eyes in anticipation of a kiss. Their breaths mingled with each other as Jisoo parted her lips and pulled Y/N in.
BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!
A sudden vibration of the phone in Jisoo's pocket broke through the tension. They hastily pulled apart as Jisoo awkwardly stood up and looked at her phone.
"Jennie," she said as she scratched her forehead and looked at Y/N, "I-I have to take this."
Y/N nodded as she fidgeted with her fingers and saw Jisoo walking out of the living room. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath and released it. She panicked as she muttered to herself, "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! I and Kim Jisoo almost kissed?! This shouldn't happen! She is an idol, Y/N."
Jisoo came in as she looked at the ground and said, "Y/N... I have to go. My members are asking for me."
Somehow, it made Y/N heartache as she internally frowned but came forward and said, "It's okay. You should go now. It's late already."
Jisoo flinched at this but nodded. They walked to the front door and Y/N stood at her door. Jisoo walked out and turned to look at her.
"You have taken everything?" Y/N asked. Jisoo nodded as she pulled her mask up and lowered her cap. "But, how are you gonna go home? It's late at night. I can't let you go alone," Y/N said as she picked up her car keys and made her way to Jisoo.
Jisoo shook her head as she said, "I can go alone, Y/N. You don't have to worry--" Y/N raised her hand to stop her and said, "I am going to drop you off and that's final."

The car came to a stop as they both Jisoo turned in her seat to look at Y/N. "I don't know but... I don't want to say goodbye, yet."
Y/N bit her lower lip and replied, "I-I also don't but... we have to." She walked out of the door and Jisoo did the same. Standing in front of the dorm building, Jisoo looked at Y/N and pulled down her mask. "Um..." Jisoo hesitantly started but Y/N pulled her into a hug.
Jisoo's breath hitched slightly as she carefully wrapped her arms around Y/N and, inhaled her scent. It felt addicting. Jisoo felt Y/N's hand slowly rubbing her lower back as she sighed in comfort.
"Remember that you can do it. You're strong and brave," Y/N said.
They both pulled apart after a few moments. Jisoo backed away and waved goodbye to Y/N as she entered the building. She felt a lump forming in her throat as she ran through the hallway to the elevator.
Y/N just stood there until she watched Jisoo disappear from her sight. She let out a deep breath and revved up her car's engine and, went back home.
- - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - -
The click of the door jolted the members as they looked up and saw Jisoo entering. Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé rushed up to her and bombarded her with questions.
"Where have you been, Unnie?" Jennie asked.
"Why didn't call us?" Lisa asked.
"You haven't eaten also! Are you okay?" Rosé asked.
Jisoo removed her mask and the cap as she raised her hand and stopped them. "Oho! I'll answer all your question. Let me get in the house first, "she said.
The members moved apart as Jisoo settled on the couch. They made their way to her and sat around her.
"So... I am okay. I have eaten. I didn't call because I passed out. And I was at someone else's house," Jisoo said.
"Whose house?" Rosé asked raising a brow. "Someone... someone who helped me a lot," Jisoo said as a smile crept on her face.
Others exchanged a perplexed look as Lisa asked, "Who... to be exact? They have a name, right?"
Jisoo nodded and said, "They have, but I am not telling. Bye!" And with that Jisoo ran up to her room leaving her intrigued members behind.
She crashed on her bed as she said to herself, "I think I like you, Y/N..." And biting her lower lip, Jisoo smiled brightly as she squealed like a teenager, who just talked to their crush on the phone for the first time.
But, a sudden realization hit her. She didn't know where Y/N lived, or even her phone number. The thing she only knew was her beautiful face and her beautiful name. She frowned as her heart cracked at the reality.
"Now, how I'm gonna meet you again...?" she thought and hugged her knees close to her chest in despair.

Jisoo let out a trembling breath as she buried her face in her hands. She felt like all the weight of this world was on her shoulder. She felt miserable, tired, frustrated, lonely, and helpless all at the same time.
