Rita was sprawled on the ground in an awkward split-legged position, clutching her swollen face, her eyes glaring at Kaia in utter disbelief.
She snapped, "You… you hit me? You actually dared to hit me? Since I was a child, even my parents never hit me, and you actually dared to hit me?"
Kaia let out a cold scoff. "That's exactly why you turned out so damn arrogant and spoiled. You really think being some rich heiress means you can just stomp all over everyone else?"
"You even dare to talk down about my parents! Who the hell do you think you are? You trash-talking bitch!" Rita was about to lose it. She shot up from the floor and lunged at Kaia, hands clawing wildly.
"Kaia, watch out!" Penny shouted anxiously.
Kaia's eyes went cold. She casually flicked out a boxing move and sent Rita flying back.
Wobbling unsteadily in her high heels, Rita staggered backward several steps. Finally, her heel twisted, her legs split apart, and she slipped to the floor.
Her tight-fitting skirt tore wide open, splitting all the way to the top.
Rita hurriedly covered herself with her handbag, utterly humiliated.
"Serves you right." Penny felt not the slightest sympathy for someone like her.
"Kaia, you even know boxing? I never would have guessed! And you're so good at it too." As she spoke, Penny suddenly remembered something.
Kaia only got to know Collin because Samantha wanted to learn boxing from her. But back then, everyone thought Kaia was just showing off, and Samantha was just being played by her. Nobody took it seriously.
That included her as well. But now, it seemed they had all underestimated Kaia.
"Kaia, you bitch! You'll get what's coming to you. I finally figured it out. It's that guy who picked you up last night, right? Shameless! Being someone's mistress!" Rita's words grew nastier with every sentence.
Hearing this, Penny also thought of that incident. But she still trusted Kaia's character.
Penny said, "Rita, if you don't have proof, don't spit nonsense here. Calling someone a mistress? Your mom's the real mistress!"
Rita was fuming. "What did you say?"
Penny added, "Do you think denying it changes anything? Everyone knows your mother climbed up by being a mistress back then, forcing your dad's first wife out. Now that's a real skill!"
Rita retorted, "You're talking nonsense! My mom is the original wife! My mom and my dad were childhood sweethearts. It was that shameless tramp who cut in halfway. Kaia's the real mistress! Otherwise, why do you think her parents kicked her out? It's because they were afraid she'd embarrass them and drag down the Bennett family's reputation!"
Kaia, growing tired of the noise, sent a message to Conrad.
Soon, a group of security guards rushed over.
Seeing them, Rita pointed at Kaia and shouted, "It's her! She started it, she hit me! Hurry up and throw her out!"
Penny grew worried and was just about to explain when the security guards instead grabbed Rita and started dragging her out.
