Kaia was left speechless.
She didn't buy it.
Kaia said, "Really? If a man has a cold constitution, it may lead to some dysfunction over time, Mr. Moreno. You should get treatment as soon as possible."
Tobias leaned closer, his tone bewitching. "Well, you'll have to verify it yourself."
The cool evening breeze caressed Kaia's face, but her cheeks felt slightly flushed.
"You should go to the hospital," said Tobias.
Tobias said, "Didn't you say you know some medical skills? Come on, help me take a look now."
As he spoke, Tobias grasped Kaia's hand and extended it towards himself.
Kaia panicked, a rare occurrence, and quickly pulled her hand back.
"What are you doing?" Kaia asked.
Tobias smiled. "Why are you so nervous? I'm just holding your hand. What did you think it was?"
Kaia pursed her lips. She knew he was doing it on purpose.
Kaia said, "I was wrong. I shouldn't have brought you to the beach alone."
After saying that, she turned around and left.
With quick reflexes, Tobias grabbed Kaia's hand and pulled her back after she had taken a few steps forward.
Caught off guard, Kaia bumped into his broad chest.
She paused for two seconds, then stepped back.
Just as she was about to lose her temper, Tobias released her hand.
"Sorry, I went a little too far with the joke." Tobias sincerely apologized.
"Can it be resolved with just an apology?" Kaia said angrily.
"Then what do you want? To hit or scold me? You can do whatever you want tonight."
Kaia was speechless.
She said, "Let's go back."
"Going back so soon? Don't you want to enjoy the scenery of the sea?" Tobias said.
"I'm not interested," said Kaia.

The next day, Tobias went to K&B.
Conrad had someone serve good coffee. "Mr. Moreno, I wonder what brings you here personally?"
"I'll be frank. I want the development rights to Pioneer Retreat. You can name your price." Tobias took out a blank check.
"Name my price? Even if it far exceeds the profits of Pioneer Retreat?" Conrad asked.
"Fill it in," said Conrad.
Sensing that Tobias didn't seem to be joking, Conrad said, "I'm curious. Pioneer Retreat is indeed a lucrative piece of land, but many of the properties under your name can rival the future profits of Pioneer Retreat.
"It seems you're particularly interested in Pioneer Retreat."
"To be honest, it's for my future wife." Tobias looked directly at Conrad and said calmly.
Conrad choked on the coffee he had just taken a sip of.
"Are you talking about Kaia?" asked Conrad.
Tobias said, "That's right, it's her. She is looking for a house and she is very interested in Pioneer Retreat. I also promised to give her the villa king."
Conrad's mouth was wide open, and for a long moment, he didn't know what to say.
"Didn't you tell Kaia before you came?" Conrad asked.
Tobias said, "I want to give her a surprise, so I kindly ask you to do me a favor and transfer the development rights of Pioneer Retreat to me. I will be sure to express my gratitude generously.
"Additionally, if TANG.F ever needs my assistance, I will do everything in my power to help."
"Well..." Conrad rubbed his aching temples. "The Moreno Group is willing to establish relations with K&B.
"Personally, I don't mind giving up the development rights to Pioneer Retreat. But... You know I'm only the CEO; as for the chairman..."
Tobias understood and said, "Please arrange a meeting between me and the chairman of your K&B."
Conrad was troubled. He stood up and took out his phone.
He said, "Wait for me, I'll go out and make a call."
