After Conrad left the VIP reception room, he immediately called Kaia.
"Hello? What's up?" Kaia had just gotten up.
"Miss Bennett! My head really hurts right now," said Conrad.
Kaia said, "Then go get some sleep. I have things to do and can't take over your work."
As soon as Conrad heard this, he knew Kaia was in a hurry to hang up, so he quickly shouted, "Your fiancé wants the development rights to Pioneer Retreat."
Kaia immediately stopped her movement to hang up. "What did you say?"
"Tobias, he's here with me now, visiting in person, and gave me a blank check for me to fill in any amount. He just wants the development rights to Pioneer Retreat, and he also said..."
Speaking of which, Conrad's tone became gossipy. "He also said that he promised his fiancée that he would give her the villa king of Pioneer Retreat. What a rare and affectionate man."
Kaia smiled and said, "What's wrong? Are you feeling envious, jealous, or just lonely and empty? Thinking about finding a wife? I can help you—plump one or slender one, take your pick."
"No, no, no, I was wrong." Conrad was shocked, regretted that he made jokes with Kaia.
Conrad said, "Let's get down to business. What are you going to do about Tobias?"
"It's simple. Just tell him that your chairman has decided to let me stay in Villa No. 8 for the time being," said Kaia.

Tobias looked at Conrad in surprise. "You said your company's chairman gave the villa king to Kaia?"
"Not give her. He just let her stay there." Conrad emphasized.
Tobias thought of the dress that K&B's chairman had given to Kaia at the last party.
"Mr. Dorsey, I'm curious, what is the relationship between Kaia and your company's chairman?" asked Tobias.
"Well... I'm sorry, this is a private matter between Miss Bennett and the chairman. I'm not at liberty to disclose it."
Tobias's expression grew increasingly tense, his eyes clouded with unreadable darkness.
"Mr. Dorsey, since you don't want to say, I won't force it. But is there something else you can tell me?" said Tobias.
Conrad said, "Tell me about it."
"Is your company's chairman a man or a woman?" Tobias asked.
Conrad wanted to laugh. He could tell that Tobias was jealous.
"A woman. Rest assured," said Conrad.
Tobias looked at Conrad, who was trying to hold back his laughter, and asked again, "Then what's your relationship with Miss Bennett?"
"Anyway, it's not the kind of relationship you think it is," Conrad quickly explained.
"Really?" Tobias asked.
"Miss Bennett is not someone I can get close to, and I can't handle her. To be honest, I haven't met anyone in this world who can compare to Miss Bennett.
"Of course, that was before you came along, Mr. Moreno. To be honest, I think if you work hard, there's still hope."
Tobias raised the cup in his hand, "Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Dorsey. I'll offer you a toast with coffee in place of wine."
"You're welcome." After Conrad took a sip of coffee, he slammed the table in anger.
"That Gideon almost killed Miss Bennett. I must avenge this! Mr. Moreno, if you don't mind, let's join forces and punish this black-hearted Gideon," Conrad said.
Tobias said coldly, "I was just thinking that."
Meanwhile, at the Fowler family's residence.
Gideon looked at the subordinate who had returned to report and asked, "I asked you to look into Gale. Any progress?"
The subordinate replied nervously, "Boss, our men followed Gale's car all night and saw the person who got out of the car with Mr. Moreno. It's... it's..."
"Who is it? Tell me!" Gideon said urgently.
