Bianca was so frustrated. How could Tobias say she bullied Kaia, when every single time it was actually her who ended up being trampled and ground under Kaia's feet?
Just then, a servant came to report. "Mr. Moreno, the Fowler family head is here."
"What is he doing here?" Tobias asked.
"Mr. Fowler said he is here to see Miss Bennett."
Bianca and Cecelia exchanged glances and began whispering to each other.
"Do you think Gideon is looking for Kaia because she offended him and he's here to cause trouble?"
"With Kaia's arrogant personality, I think that's likely."
"That would be for the best. I hope Gideon teaches Kaia a lesson later and lets Tobias know what a troublemaker she is. A reckless, ignorant, and boorish good-for-nothing like her will only bring trouble to the Moreno family."
Gideon walked in and asked, "Mr. Moreno, is Miss Bennett here?"
"What do you want from me?" Kaia pushed the door open and walked out of the room.
Gideon bowed to Kaia and said, "I am here to apologize to Miss Bennett. Please accept my apology."
Cecelia and Bianca were so shocked that their jaws nearly dropped.

"Are you threatening me?" Kaia narrowed her eyes.
Gideon said, "How could it be a threat? Miss Bennett, you're a smart person, and a kind person. I believe you won't be aggressive."
Kaia said, "Mr. Fowler, don't try to flatter me or morally manipulate me. If I hadn't reacted quickly that day, I would have already met my maker.
"So no matter what you say, I can't accept your apology. That's it, don't bother me again."
