"Tobias Moreno!" Kaia punched him.
"Oh my gosh..." Caden, who was secretly watching them upstairs, covered his eyes. The scene was a bit too much.
Later, Tobias went to the office with a black eye, surprising everyone along the way, because Tobias was obviously beaten, but he had a smile on his face like a spring breeze.
"Ahem, boss, I know Miss Bennett did this, and you're happy, but shouldn't we get down to business now?" Devin couldn't stand it anymore.
"What business?" Tobias asked doubtfully.
Devin twitched his lips. "Have you forgotten? You have an appointment with that medical expert today to see your grandmother?"
Tobias belatedly remembered. "Is it time yet?"
"There's still an hour left. Shall I call ahead and ask?" Devin said, looking at the time.
Tobias nodded, "Sure."
Soon, Kaia received the message.
Just as she was about to reply to the message, she received a call from Ruth.
Kaia frowned slightly. Ever since they broke off the relationship, Ruth and Lincoln had never called her. It was true as the Bennett family officially announced that Kaia had nothing to do with them anymore, and they would no longer care whether she lived or died.
She was curious as to why Ruth had suddenly called. Was it because of the incident where she embarrassed Rita last time?
She answered the call.
"What is it?" Kaia's voice was indifferent, without any emotional fluctuation.
Ruth was not angry at all about Kaia's attitude, because she and this former daughter had no connection at all. Who would care about the attitude of a stranger?
Ruth got to the point. "Come back now and take your things out of your room."
Kaia said coldly, "I'm not available until tomorrow."
Ruth didn't care. "Today, I'm going to clear out the room you used to live in and renovate it to create a special place for Andrea to conduct research. The renovation workers will be here soon. If you don't come to pack up now, I'll have the servants throw all your things away."
Kaia's face turned cold. Some of the things in the room were her own, and there were many important things and privacy in the notebook.
Ruth said indifferently, "Don't blame us for being ruthless, and don't blame us for being unreasonable. Professor Guzman from Morganburg University is Andrea's mentor and thinks highly of Andrea, saying that Andrea is a seed for a future scientist and will definitely make a great contribution to Wustriland.
"Yesterday, he even visited our family and told us that we must fully support Andrea and that it would be best to have a laboratory so that Andrea could concentrate on research.
"As you know, the only spare room in our house is the one you used to live in. So if you don't move your things out today, we'll do it ourselves."

There was nothing to blame them for. After all, they were no longer a family. It was indeed annoying to have her things in someone else's house.
"Kaia?" A familiar voice sounded behind her, interrupting Kaia's thoughts.
