"Let's go. If you don't go, I'll keep pestering you. I don't even want the company anymore. I'll follow you to Pioneer Retreat, serving you coffee and food, doing your laundry and cooking, massaging your shoulders and back. No matter how you try to drive me away, I won't leave."
Kaia imagined the scene of Tobias constantly following her like a shadow in her mind, and it felt a little overwhelming.
Helpless, she had no choice but to leave with Tobias.
Wilson almost burst into tears. "Sweet Kaia, you have double standards. You think I'm childish, but wasn't Tobias's tone just as childish?"
Kaia was too lazy to pay attention to Wilson and said to Tobias, "Let's go faster. Ignore him."
Tobias smirked. "Okay, whatever you say."
Wilson scratched his head frantically, looking at Joel. "Why? Why does Sweet Kaia want to go with him?"
Joel didn't bother to pay attention to him and turned to leave.
Devin looked at Wilson, then at Joel's departing figure, becoming more and more confused.
The seaside vacation ended with Conrad inviting the entire company to a party celebrating his acceptance of a new student.
Kaia naturally had to attend such a grand occasion.
Scott came to Kaia with a wine glass in hand, looking somewhat uneasy.
"You'll get used to these kinds of occasions as you experience them more," Kaia said, taking a small sip of her cocktail.
Scott nodded. "I'm going to the restroom."
"I was just about to go as well." Kaia put down her glass.
Then, as they walked out, they ran into Andrea and Louis, who were about to enter.
They weren't too surprised to see Kaia because they already knew that Kaia was a K&B employee.
But when they saw Scott, they were first stunned, and then they realized that Scott was only there because of Kaia.
"Ignore them," Kaia said to Scott as she stepped aside, preparing to leave, only to be stopped by Louis.
"Last time, you just got lucky that Mr. Dorsey favored the plan you changed, but don't think you're a big deal in front of me. No matter what, I'm a noble heir high above, and you'll never shake off your rural background."
"Is that so? I wonder which noble heir got thrown out by the guards last time." Kaia retorted with sarcasm as she looked at Louis.
"Kaia, are you very proud of yourself? Do you think Mr. Dorsey would really give up cooperating with the Ross family for an employee like you? The way he spoke that day was just to scare me.
"It was just to protect K&B's reputation. After all, quite a few people were there that day. If word got out that Conrad couldn't even protect his employees, who would dare to work at K&B?
"I'm sure that in other situations, Mr. Dorsey would definitely protect me, not an ordinary employee like you."
"Get over yourself!" Kaia complained speechlessly.
"Whether you admit it or not, that's the truth. This is the upper circle, which you'll never understand," Louis said with his head held high.
Andrea looked at Scott. "Scott, for the sake of our blood tie, let me remind you, stay away from Kaia, or you'll get yourself into trouble."
"I can tell who is good and who is bad!" Scott's eyes were full of anger.
Andrea snorted coldly, 'You'll regret it one day!'
She then asked arrogantly, "Scott, where is Mr. Dorsey's newly accepted student?"
Scott was stunned for a moment, her expression a little strange.
He asked, "What do you want him for?"
