She wanted to see Kaia make a fool of herself. Anyway, she would just say that it was an accident.
Kaia had been on guard against Andrea when she pretended to fall, and quickly stretched out her foot to trip Andrea's leg.
Andrea cried out, "Ah!" as she lost her balance and fell face-first onto the ground.
Her nose was about to be knocked askew.
Andrea cried in pain, pointing at Kaia with an aggrieved expression. Before she could say anything, Kaia's voice rang out first.
"Sorry, I accidentally stuck my leg out."
Andrea kept her mouth open, all the words about to come out were choked back, and her face became increasingly green.
"Accidentally? I think you did it on purpose!" Louis roared in anger, then turned to Seth. "She is an employee of your company. Can't you manage her?"
Seth took the benefits from Louis, and Louis's identity was powerful, but Kaia was just an insignificant employee. Seth had made a judgment in his mind about who was more important.
He snapped, "Kaia, you are so vicious. Miss Andrea Bennett just had a little squabble with you, but you embarrassed her so much. Today, because you are Mr. Becker's family, I will not fire you. You just need to say sorry to Miss Andrea Bennett."
Kaia slightly raised her cold and indifferent eyes and met Seth.
"Did you take the benefits of Louis?"
Seth's heart skipped a beat, and his face began to crumble.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I'm just stating the facts. What are you blathering on about?"
Kaia continued, "Today is Mr. Dorsey's day to introduce his newly taken student, and this place is where all K&B employees are holding a banquet. Who allowed you to bring outsiders in without permission?"
Seth's expression crumbled even further. For some reason, facing Kaia's aloof demeanor gave him an indescribable sense of coercion.
He thought, 'It's really strange. She's just an intern.'
Seth said coldly, "As the finance director, I have my own reasons for doing things. Is it something an intern like you can question?"
Kaia had completely lost patience. "From now on, you're fired."
As soon as those words came out, Seth, Andrea, and Louis were all stunned.
After a brief two or three seconds, they all looked at Kaia as if she were an idiot.
Seth found it amusing. "You're firing me? What grounds do you have to fire me? Who do you think you are? Or are you drunk and talking nonsense?
"Even Mr. Becker can't fire me casually, let alone you. I'm a senior employee of the company, and I've worked hard for the company for years."
"Even if Mr. Becker doesn't like me and complains to Mr. Dorsey, he'll have to give me a full explanation," Seth said with his head held high and full of confidence.
"I said you're fired, and you're fired. If you're not convinced and want a reason, you can go to Mr. Dorsey." As Kaia spoke, she sent a message to Conrad.
"Funny, you tell me to go to Mr. Dorsey, and I'll go to Mr. Dorsey. Who do you..."
Before Seth could finish speaking, he received a call from Conrad.
"Come to my office."
'What?' Seth was stunned for a moment, then suddenly looked at Kaia, and then shook his head.
'Mr. Dorsey is seeing me for something else, definitely not for Kaia,' he thought.
