"It's all that Kaia's fault!"
Jameson sighed. "Now is not the time to blame anyone. Let's go find Dad first."

Kaia had just finished applying the medicine to Scott when Tobias rushed over in a fluster.
"Are you hurt?"
Looking at Tobias, who had rushed over in a dusty state, Kaia felt a little moved.
"I'm not injured, but Scott has some scratches."
Tobias looked at Kaia's swollen face, and his expression instantly turned grim.
"I shouldn't have let Griffin off so easily last night."
Kaia pursed her lips. "He has already been sent abroad and is forbidden from returning to Wustriland for the rest of his life. This is already a great punishment for him. I don't want to mention anything about him in the future."
From these words, Tobias could tell that Kaia did not intend to pursue the matter further.
"You're always so kind and soft-hearted, even after all the pain he's caused you." Every word that Tobias spoke was filled with heartache.
"I'm not kind. I'm doing this for Keaton's favor to my family."
Hearing Kaia say this, Scott suddenly remembered.
"Kaia, are you saying that he did something for our family? Could he be the old man in the car who stood up for us when we were robbed and beaten when we went to the city with our parents when we were kids?"
"Yeah, that's him."
"And Tobias is his grandson? No wonder you two are meant to be!" Scott said, clearly impressed.
Tobias was very satisfied with what Scott said.
He reached out and patted him on the shoulder.
Just then, Tobias received a call from his father.
"Where are you?" Ryan's voice was a little anxious.
"I'm outside."
"Are you with Kaia?" Ryan asked, guessing.
"Yeah."
"That's good. Come back with her."
Tobias thought for a while and asked, guessing, "Did Uncle Jameson and Aunt Judith come?"
"You guessed it right." Ryan rubbed his temples with a headache, his ears filled with Judith's scolding.
Tobias looked at Kaia. "Don't worry. I'll protect you."
"I'm not afraid of this kind of thing. Besides, I'm not the one at fault," Kaia said nonchalantly.
"Can't you ever soften up a bit and be a little affectionate? You're so strong that I feel useless," Tobias said, his voice full of helplessness.
Kaia raised her eyebrows slightly and smiled. "I wouldn't say that. You're still somewhat useful."
Tobias's eyes lit up. "How so?"
"You make me roll my eyes more often."
Tobias was speechless.
Half an hour later, Kaia arrived at the Moreno family residence with Tobias.
Just as they got out of the car, before they even reached the front door of the villa, they heard Judith's furious voice coming from inside.
"Dad, Griffin is your grandson! Your own grandson! How could you send him abroad and not let him come back? I know you only love Tobias, but—but he still has your son's blood in him!"
Keaton sat in his rosewood chair, looking at Judith with a commanding presence.
"I've told you about this several times. That little rascal isn't learning to be good and is emulating others by kidnapping someone. Do you know what this behavior means? It means he broke the law! Do you know how kidnapping is judged? It's a fixed-term imprisonment of more than ten years, or even life imprisonment! If Kaia hadn't been soft-hearted, that little rascal would already be in jail!"
Jameson sighed. "Now is not the time to blame anyone. Let's go find Dad first."
