He was originally supposed to go with Tobias to deal with company affairs today, but as they were about to leave, he suddenly had diarrhea, so he stayed at the villa temporarily.
He didn't expect to see such a scene.
He wanted to see if Frank was climbing into Kaia's window in the middle of the night to do something untoward to her.
"Damn it! I treated Frank like a brother, and he actually wants to cuckold my boss! I'll catch you today."
Devin quietly climbed up to the window on the second floor, peering inside, and saw the scene in the room: Kaia and Frank were standing face to face.
He wondered if they even knew each other. It didn't seem to be what he had imagined that Frank wanted to do something improper to Kaia.
'What are they talking about? It's not clear through the glass.' He thought.
Joel reported on the work he had completed, "Griffin was not sent abroad. In the end, Judith stopped him, and he opened a bar in the city center to cover up. Do you want me to deal with it and send him abroad to be watched?"
After a couple of seconds of silence, Kaia replied, "Forget it. No matter how terrible Griffin is, he's still Keaton's grandson. I'll let Griffin off the hook for now out of respect for him. But if he does anything bad in the future, I'll deal with him immediately."
"Okay, I'll have people keep a close eye on him. Oh, anyway, the Parsons family were not only kicked out of Morganburg, but also expelled from Wustriland," Joel continued to report.
"People like that deserve what they get," Kaia said coldly.
Devin, who was leaning on the window, was getting anxious. 'What are they talking about? They seem to be really close! What is their relationship?'
'Should I report this to Boss now?'
'Or should I wait a little longer?' Nothing had happened between Kaia and Frank yet, and even if he reported it to the boss, it wouldn't cause a stir.
So he shouldn't make a rash move, and should continue to watch from here. Maybe he could catch them in the act.
Joel rubbed his stomach. "I've digested everything I ate tonight. This is the perfect time for a midnight snack. Tobias isn't here, so it's perfect for you and me to go out for a midnight snack together. It's my treat."
"Okay, I won't be polite with you," Kaia really meant it.
Soon the two walked out of the villa together.
Devin followed quietly, muttering to himself again.
"Why aren't these two sleeping in the middle of the night? What are they doing out there? Could my previous guess be right? Frank has bad intentions and wants to take advantage of Kaia, so he deliberately brought her out?"
Thinking of this, Devin got angry again.
'What friend! You're a damn man!'
Kaia looked at Joel, who was wearing Frank's face, and stopped.
"Why don't you change back? If Tobias's people find you like this, they will suspect your identity."
Joel touched his face. "That's right. If I'm discovered, it will be inconvenient for me to stay in the Moreno family house and stay by your side in the future."
"Wait for me, I'll be right out." Saying that, Joel turned into a nearby public restroom.
Devin scratched the back of his head. "Frank's identity? What identity? Isn't he just a bodyguard?"
