"Why did you climb in through the window again?"
"I'm used to it." Joel said as he closed the window.
Kaia twitched her lips speechlessly; this habit was truly indescribable.
"Are you really moving out tomorrow?" Joel asked.
"What, are you going to miss me?"
"It's not that I'll miss you, but I think it's good that you live in Tobias's house. At least security is guaranteed."
Kaia smiled and joked, "Are you trying to be lazy, let the Moreno family's bodyguards protect me, so you can relax?"
Joel cleared his throat awkwardly, more or less defaulting.
"I'll stay one last night tomorrow night, and move things out when I get back from school the day after tomorrow." Speaking of this, Kaia reminded him, "You better not leave on the same day as me. Tobias is a meticulous person. He has long suspected the relationship between you and me. If I leave first, and you follow, it is tantamount to confessing to Tobias."
"I know what to do, and I don't plan to leave on the same day as you."
"Okay."
In the middle of their conversation, a knock suddenly sounded.
"Knock, knock, knock—"
"Are you in the room?" Tobias asked from outside the door.
"Oh no! You should leave!" Kaia hurriedly pushed Joel.
Joel also reacted quickly, darting to the window, opening it, and immediately closing it in the next second.
"What's wrong?"
"The butler is downstairs!"
"Well..." Kaia frowned.
Tobias's voice came again from outside the door, "If you don't open the door, I'm coming in."
Then the door was pushed open.
Joel immediately slipped under the bed.
Kaia breathed a sigh of relief, glad that Joel was quick enough.
"What's wrong? Why are you sweating on your forehead? You also look a little pale." Tobias came to Kaia, reached out to her forehead, and wiped off the sweat.
A strange look flashed through Kaia's beautiful eyes, and it was quickly hidden without a trace.
"Nothing, I just... did some exercise."
"Oh, I see. Why didn't you ask me to exercise with you? It won't be boring if we exercise together." Tobias stared at Kaia with a smile that was not a smile.
Kaia stared at the man with indescribable strange eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Are you sure what you said just now was just surface-level exercise?"
Hearing the girl ask this, Tobias smiled. "You have some suspicious thoughts."
Kaia twitched the corner of her mouth speechlessly, knowing very well who had the unhealthy thoughts.
"But—" Tobias changed the subject, "I like it."
Kaia was speechless.
Tobias reached out and grabbed Kaia's shoulder, lowering his head, his eyes seemed to have small hooks in them.
"Why don't we do some exercise together according to your suspicious ideas? Let's do a two-person exercise?"
Joel secretly gasped. 'Hiss.'
'What sin did I commit? If I had known I would run into such a scene, I would not have come in through the window. Are they going to start exercising directly on the bed in a moment? What should I do?'
Speechless, Kaia pushed Tobias away, "When can you be serious?"
"When you're not around, I'm always serious." Tobias replied matter-of-factly.
"Are you saying that it's my fault that you're not serious?"
"No, it's my fault. When I see you, I can't control myself."
"I'm used to it." Joel said as he closed the window.
