"It's never too late to turn over a new leaf. Since you are willing to be a new person, I will give you this chance for the sake of Keaton."
Griffin was instantly excited and looked at Kaia with gratitude, "Thank you! Miss Bennett, thank you so much!"
With Kaia's words, Griffin will no longer have to hide in Morganburg in the future, nor will he have to continue to stay in this small bar, and he can also return to the Moreno family openly.
"But if you ever do anything illegal or undisciplined again, don't blame me for not being lenient." Kaia said coldly.
"No, no, definitely not!" Griffin patted his chest, guaranteeing it repeatedly.
It was almost one in the morning when Kaia returned to Villa No. 8 at Pioneer Retreat.
As soon as she got home, the lights flicked on.
Seeing the man sitting on the sofa, Kaia's expression was a little dazed.
"What are you doing here so late?"
Tobias slowly stood up from the sofa, the light above his head shining on his broad back.
"Can't sleep without you." His voice was a little hoarse.
Kaia moved her red lips slightly, looking straight at the man, not knowing what to say for a moment.
"Kaia, how about I move in tomorrow?" Tobias frowned, his deep voice carrying a hint of pleading, which softened Kaia's heart for no reason.
But in the end, reason triumphed over everything. "You have your own place to live. What are you doing here? Besides, if you leave, who will take care of your brother?"
In this family, Caden is the one who doesn't listen to anyone. Before Kaia appeared, he only listened to Tobias, and even his father couldn't make him obey.
"I'll have him move in with us," Tobias said.
Kaia was speechless. "Why don't you just have your whole family move in?"
"That's a good idea. Your house doesn't have any servants, butlers, or cooks. I'll have them all move in tomorrow."
Kaia was speechless.
"Okay, are you done yet? Isn't it better to live separately?"
"I understand," Tobias said, looking at Kaia with affection in his eyes.
Kaia blinked. "What do you understand?"
Tobias grabbed Kaia's hand without explanation. "I understand what you mean. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and distance creates beauty. You're playing hard to get."
Whoosh.
Kaia exhaled a heavy breath; she felt like punching someone.
"It's late, I want to sleep. Think what you want, but don't bother me."
As she spoke, Kaia pulled her hand out of the man's large palm and walked upstairs.
Halfway there, she turned back to look at Tobias.
"What are you standing there for? Do you want to sleep in the living room tonight?"
Tobias smiled, feeling like spring had come.
"Okay." After responding cheerfully, he quickly went upstairs, arrived at the door of Kaia's room, and pretended to go in.
Kaia grabbed him. "What are you doing?"
"Sleeping!"
"Go to your room."
Tobias was a little disappointed. He thought Kaia would invite him to share a bed with her.
"Don't need to sleep together?"
"Then you should go back to your villa." Kaia glared at Tobias.
Okay, this has to be done step by step, and I can't be too impatient.
On the other side.
Jameson looked at Griffin who came back and was so scared that he quickly asked someone to close the door.
"Why did you run back without saying a word? If you are discovered, don't even think about staying in Morganburg in the future!"
Judith was angry when she saw Jameson scolding his son. "He is your son! Our son! This is his home! What's wrong with him coming back? If that Kaia dares to make trouble, I—I will fight her!"
