"No. Adults handle their own business; kids should stay out of it. Go back home and behave." As Kaia spoke, she took the keys from Griffin's hand. "I'm borrowing your car."
Griffin was momentarily stunned, responding instinctively, "Yeah, sure, whatever!"
'Wait, didn't I say I wanted to tag along and catch the show?' Griffin thought, completely dumbfounded. 'And Kaia just shut me down like that? Man, that's ruthless!'
