"I have," Kaia replied, her expression so calm it showed no ripple of emotion, as if she were discussing something utterly trivial.
Gavyn had already guessed who was behind this vicious affair.
"Is it Kiera? I saw that about seventy percent of the people attacking you are her fans." he said, handing his phone to Kaia.
The screen lit up with a flood of hateful comments.
[Guess it's true after all. Kiera really is the poor victim, taking all that crap and not even able to speak up.]
[That slut not only hooked up with Kiera's boyfriend, but she's had her claws in a bunch of other guys, too. If you really think about it, it's gotta be dozens, maybe even hundreds. Doesn't she even care about catching something?]
[She was just born to chase men, can't survive a day without them. Why would someone like her worry about her health? Kiera is the one suffering for nothing in all this. Seriously, I remember how ghostly and exhausted she looked before, and it just breaks my heart.]
[Kiera can't speak for herself, so as fans, there's no way we're just gonna sit back and watch her get screwed over. We have to stand strong together and fight for her justice.]
Kaia skimmed a few comments with an impassive face, then stated to Gavyn with certainty. "This wasn't done by Kiera. Someone is likely using the feud between her and me to stir up trouble."
Gavyn looked utterly confused. "But she targeted you before? How can you be so sure it wasn't her?"
"It's hard to explain briefly, but I'm telling you, it wasn't her." Kaia noticed the director was ready and reminded Gavyn, "The next scene is about to start. Go get ready. I'll keep watching."
Gavyn was taken aback, then looked at Kaia as if she were an alien. "With something this huge happening, you're still here focused on filming? Aren't you going to deal with it?"
Kaia let out a light, dismissive snort. "They're insignificant. Dealing with them sooner or later makes no difference. My task today is to oversee the filming of these scenes. I'm ignoring everything else."
Gavyn shot her a thumbs-up. "Seriously, it's almost scary how nothing fazes you."
Kaia chuckled. "Okay, enough rambling. Go get ready for the shoot."
"Got it," Gavyn said, letting it go. He grabbed his script and ran through his lines again.
For the rest of the time, Kaia just kept an eye on the shoot.
Whatever chaos was happening online, she honestly couldn't be bothered.
Sorting out that kind of drama was just a snap of her fingers for her—no point in letting it mess with her mood.
The priority right now was finishing the film shoot.

Meanwhile, Kiera only discovered the uproar among her fans in their fan group after leaving the recording studio.
And online, the whole internet was swamped with outrageous drama about Kaia.
On her socials, fans kept tagging her, swearing they'd stand up for her and make things right.
[Kiera, if anyone's messing with you, just speak up. We'll be right there. You're never facing this alone.]
[Totally. You've got all of us behind you, always. Whatever you want to do, we're with you every step of the way.]
[Trust us, Kiera—this time we're gonna make that bitch seriously regret it. No way she's walking away from this like nothing happened.]
Looking at the fans' comments and their slander against Kaia in the fan group, fury surged in Kiera's chest.
Back when she hadn't learned the truth about Kaia's identity, or realized Kaia and Gavyn were never a thing, she would've happily watched the chaos unfold.
But now that she knew Kaia was Dr. Bennett, everything was different. 'These people seriously dare to drag Dr. Bennett through the mud? Are they crazy or just tired of living?' Kiera thought, fuming.
As Kiera thought this, she noticed several unread messages on WhatsApp.
Tapping the screen, she saw messages from Grace and realized this was all her doing.
Without hesitating, Kiera called Grace right away, but no one picked up.
Hearing the "unreachable" tone, Kiera felt like her chest was filled with gasoline, ready to explode at the slightest spark.
She tried four or five times, with the same result.
Furious, Kiera nearly threw her phone, but she understood that anger wouldn't solve anything. She needed to resolve the issue concerning Kaia first.
Thinking fast, she immediately logged into her main Twitter account to clarify things for Kaia.
[I've seen the news online. I hereby state that the widely circulated videos and photos are fake. Please, stay rational and do not harm an innocent person over fabricated matters. Furthermore, having interacted with her for a period, I know she is absolutely not the kind of person. I demand that those accounts delete their posts immediately, or they will bear the consequences.]
As soon as her post went live, her fans totally lost it.
[What's going on? Why's Kiera suddenly sticking up for Kaia? Is there some secret we're missing?]
[Kiera, we'll come get you, don't worry.]
[Hang in there. Don't let the haters win. We've got your back, no matter what.]
[Everyone, let's blow this up. We need to make sure everyone hears about what Kiera's been through. If we want justice for her, now's our chance.]
After posting her statement, Kiera sat glued to the couch with her phone, scanning every update, hoping to see if the tide of public opinion had finally turned.
But as soon as she started reading her fans' replies, she felt so mad she could explode.
She had tried her best to clarify for Kaia, but instead of understanding, her fans had intensified their attacks on Kaia. Their imaginations were running wild.
While Kiera was fuming, Grace, who had been avoiding her calls, finally called back. "Kiera, why did you call me so many times? Is there something important?"
Hearing Grace's feigned ignorance, Kiera's anger flared. Her grip on the phone tightened. "Grace, didn't I tell you I didn't need you to do anything? Why did you interfere?
"Those photos and videos online were your doing, right? I'm telling you, delete those posts now, or you will regret everything you did today."
Grace, believing Kiera was only speaking so harshly because her grandfather was nearby, didn't take it personally. "Kiera, I understand. I'll delete all of it."
