'Didn't I spell everything out for her? Why's she acting all mysterious, talking about knowing my troubles? And what inconvenience? Seriously, what do we even have left to discuss?' Raina griped inwardly. 'Is she out of her mind or something?'
"Grace, wait! Explain what you meant!" Kiera, worried Grace had misunderstood, quickly chased after her.
But Grace just wore a look of having seen through everything. "No need to explain, Kiera. We'll talk another day when you have time."
Watching Grace leave, Kiera was left speechless. "What a weirdo. She's insane."

Kaia returned home from the film set and immediately spotted Tobias sitting on the sofa, working on his laptop.
The man was wearing a simple white shirt, his expression serious as he focused on the screen.
The crisply ironed fabric hinted at the well-defined muscle lines beneath, giving him a cool, almost untouchable aura.
Looking at him, one word popped into Kaia's mind—trouble.
Honestly, Tobias had that kind of irresistible charm.
As she shook off her thoughts, she glanced up and found herself staring straight into those deep eyes of his.
Tobias rested his chin on his hand, a spark of amusement in his eyes. "Kaia, like what you see?"
Kaia simply stared back boldly, looking him up and down several times. "Not bad. Pretty good figure."
Tobias raised a long eyebrow and slowly stood up from the sofa, moving closer to Kaia. "The feel is pretty good too. Want to try for yourself?"
Kaia subtly took two steps back. "Acting shamelessly in broad daylight at home? Have you no shame?"
Tobias just smirked, closing the distance between them. "You said it yourself, it's at home. What's there to be ashamed of in your own home?"
Kaia rolled her eyes dramatically. "Honestly, you'd feel weird if you didn't flirt with me at least once a day."
"It's not just flirting," Tobias said, shaking his head with feigned seriousness. "These are my words of love to you."
Kaia couldn't be bothered to engage. She turned and sat down on the sofa."Did you handle the Grace situation?"
Originally, she planned to deal with Grace after finishing up at the set.
But when she checked Twitter after the wrap, she saw the recording of Grace's live-streamed public apology to her.
Her first thought was that Tobias had handled it. Bringing it up now was just making conversation.
"It was me." Mentioning Grace, Tobias's face instantly darkened. "For slandering you like that, making her apologize publicly was letting her off lightly. If she does it again, I will make sure she pays a heavy price."
A slight smile touched Kaia's lips. She gently nudged Tobias's arm with her elbow."Gotta admit, having a fiancé who takes care of all my problems before I even know about them is pretty sweet."
"Yeah," Tobias declared, wrapping his arm possessively around Kaia's slender waist. "Anyone who tries to mess with you is gonna answer to me."
Kaia smiled without speaking. She thought Tobias could be pretty childish sometimes, but honestly, his words did warm her heart more than she'd admit.

After dinner, Kaia was lounging in bed, scrolling through videos, when Tobias walked in.
"Kaia, pack your things. We're going to the hot springs tomorrow," he called out.
"Hot springs?" Kaia sat up in bed. "That's so sudden! Why didn't you tell me earlier so I could mentally prepare?"
"It's not sudden. I've had it planned. You just need to pack and come with me. If you don't want to pack, I can do it for you. The weather is hot, just bring some light clothes and sunscreen," Tobias replied casually.
