LAST TIME I CHECKED I WAS STRAIGHT!!! Zhuling ff - Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Morning came, and the first to wake up was Lan Wangji, he then proceeded to wake up his sweet Wei Ying.
"Let me sleep some more." Wuxian replied with a morning voice.
"Wei Ying, get up"
"Lan Zhan pleaseeee" he whined in protest.
"No."
"Hmph" Wei Wuxian turned his back to face the wall and ignored his partner.
"Wei Ying..."
"Ughhh fine I'm awakee" Wei Wuxian got up with a grumpy expression yet still went to give Wangji a kiss on his cheek. Morning habits. "Lan Zhan, are the kids awake?" He asked, because for him he's usually the last to wake up.
"Don't know"
"Ok then let's go wake them up"
"Wait Wei Ying, freshen up first" Wangji reminded.
"Mmm okk"

Sizhui woke up all sweaty and shocked because of what he had just dreamed about.
Holy freaking shit—what kind of things did he just dream about—how and why did he— no, how could he even dream about doing such inappropriate things.. and with a guy....with Jin ling even.
Sizhui's heart started beating rapidly, he didn't like this feeling and the fact that he actually enjoyed kissing...and licking... Jin ling in his dream.
"Wait"
"Why.....why is my robe open?" He asked him self as he looked down a mess he was.
He must of opened it..right? Right.
Sizhui's heart started beating again but this it was because he looked at a really beautiful, gentle sleeping face..of Jin ling. Ahhh not him finding his friend attractive—what the hell was going on with him.
Jin ling yawned and slowly began opening his eyes.
Sizhui freaked out, he didn't wanted Jin ling to see him like this so he quickly ran out of the room.
"Sizhui..?"
Jin ling was now fully awake and started looking around for Sizhui in the room.
"Where is he?" He asked himself as he looked at the corners of the room.
Then it hit him like a thunderbolt, the kissing and licking from last night. Jin ling now was red as a tomato..
Then he came up with a conclusion as to why Sizhui wasn't present in the room.
He probably remembered everything.
Now things wouldn't be normal between them, will never be. He fucked up big time even if he contributed half to the problem.
Nonetheless Jin ling got up to meet with the other juniors and the 2 seniors.

"Is everyone here?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"Yes Senior Wei." Sizhui replied.
"Ok then let's head out now but first let me do something quickly"
Wei Wuxian walked up to the pretty lady on the counter and said his goodbyes to her concluding it with a kiss on her hand. "Bye bye pretty maiden"
Lan Wangji sighed.

All 6 of them had been walking for 2 hours already, just 2 more left to reach the village.
"Say Lan Zhan"
"Mn?"
"Don't you think it's awfully quiet"
"Mn"
Jingyi couldn't get over this quietness and bursted out.
"Hey dickhead why the hell are you so quiet"
"Language" Lan Wangji glared at Jingyi.
"Sorryy"
"Jin ling say something hmph" Jingyi nudged Jin ling's shoulder.
"What the hell do you want from me!?" Jin ling yelled in reply, making Jingyi back up a little bit.
"Jeez calm down he just wants to talk" Zizhen said trying to back up his friend.
"What now? You backing him up? What are you guys? Dating? Pfft" Jin ling said without a thought like always.
"You-"you take that back you ass" Jingyi was pissed off, he was trying to lighten up the mood hit Jin long just had to be an ass and so he was ready to fight Jin ling, he wasn't having none of Jin ling's rotten attitude.
"You two calm down" Sizhui finally spoke.
And Jin ling listened obviously.
"Hmph fine." Jingyi stopped and went back to Zizhen. Zizhen moved closer to Jingyi.
"You know you look really cute when you get mad" Zizhen whispered in Jingyi's ear, which almost made Jingyi jump.
Jingyi had turned red from all the blushing.
Wei Wuxian noticed this. "Those 2 couldn't be any more obvious pfft" he said to Wangji as he started giggling.

They had finally arrived at the village.
All the villagers were standing at the gate to greet their saviours. The old village head came out of the crowd and stepped forward to give a proper formal greeting.
"Hello young cultivators, we all are really glad you guys are here to help us, you don't know how grateful we are"
All 6 of them replied with a bow.
"Young men please come to my place and I will explain to you about our situation."
"Lead the way" Wei Wuxian said.
While they were going to the old man's place they all noticed that the village was so dry, all the crops in the field were dead and there was no water in the wells either.
"Please I know this isn't much but would you like some tea?" The elder offered.
"No no it's fine, please just explain your situation to us" Wei Wuxian did most of the talking.
"Ok then, well as you noticed while walking to my place, our village is in need of water, since we are a small village we only relied on the small river that's connected to the mountain. But for the past 2 months, no water had been flowing, and we assumed that this was temporary so we waited but the water never came, then suddenly one of our men discovered the source of the water, the source of the water is a cave on the mountain, he also saw that a big rock was blocking the opening that leads the water out of the cave."
"So couldn't your village men just team up and go break the rock?" Jingyi said cutting in.
"Yes we did try that, but...."
"But what? Old man finish the story" Jin ling said obviously annoyed with how long this was going on for.
"But most of our men came back with wounds...deep wounds...something like that can never come from trying to break a rock...All of our men said the same thing...they said they were attacked by a huge dark monster that had sharp claws and a big mouth"
"That's....Scary..." Zizhen whispered.
"A monster? Really?" Wei Wuxian asked again with doubts.
"Yes yes a monster"
"Lan Zhan, do you think it's a magical creature?"
"Mn. Many magical creatures live in the mountain so that might be it"
"So we don't have to kill it right?" Sizhui asked.
"Hmmm if it doesn't hurt us then we can just chase it out and put a shield around the cave"
"Young men please kill the creature, what if it comes down and hurts us?
"That can't happen because those magical creatures can't get out of the mountains. And since this village is not on the mountains, you don't have to worry about anything."
With that, all 6 of them were guided to where the cave was by one of the village men.
"Man this cave is hugeeee" Jingyi exclaimed.
"And it's dark.." Zizhen said.
"Don't worry I'll protect you" Jingyi said cheekily.
"Just admit it, you guys really are dating pfft" Jin ling said to get a reaction out of Jingyi. Lan Wangji glared at both of them, which made them shut up real quick.
"Pfft Lan Zhan you are indeed really scary" Wei Wuxian said while bursting out laughing.
"Wei Ying"
"Okokok" Wuxian calmed down wiping a tear of laughter from his eyes.
They all decided to be really quiet and walk in deeper.
"Woahhh this is so big" Wei Wuxian whispered wowing.
Sizhui was walking infront of everyone just because he wasn't scared of caves, since he kinda lived in one. While Sizhui was walking, it suddenly got slippery and he was about to trip and fall.
"Woah. You almost fell" Jin ling quickly ran up to Sizhui and caught him.
Sizhui was red, all this time he was trying to ignore Jin ling because of his guilt that dream gave him.
"T-Thank you" Sizhui stuttered as he panicked.
"LOVEBIRDs BAHAHAHHAH" Jingyi bursted out laughing like always.
Even Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian noticed how red Sizhui was.
"See Lan Zhan, I told you." Wuxian commented about something they talked about yesterday.
Lan Wangji unconsciously smiled, they reminded him of Wei Wuxian and him when they were young.
"We are not jeez, I only saved him from falling" Jin ling subconsciously pushed Sizhui away which made Sizhui feel sad for some reason.
Everything went back to quiet again until they heard a big roar from a distance.
Everyone froze. Horrified at what they had just heard.
"Lan Zhan..that doesn't sound like a magical creature does it?"
"It doesn't.." Wangji replied.
