The city was quiet. But inside the penthouse, Dominic Moretti paced like a caged predator.
Valentina was growing bolder. Gabriel’s betrayal proved it. Every move she made was an attack on Aria — not just on him.
And that alone made his fury boil.
Aria watched him silently from the edge of their massive bed, her silk robe slipping slightly from one bare shoulder. She knew this look. Knew what was building inside him.
“Come here.”
The command in his voice sent a delicious shiver down her spine. She rose slowly, approaching him, her eyes never leaving his.
Dominic’s hand shot out, gripping her waist as he pulled her flush against his chest. His voice was low, dangerous.
“They think you’re my weakness,” he growled. “They don’t understand—” his breath ghosted over her ear, “—that you’re my obsession.”
Aria’s breath hitched. “Then prove it.”
The words ignited something dark inside him.
In one swift motion, he spun her toward the glass window that overlooked the glittering city skyline. She gasped as her hands pressed against the cool surface, her reflection staring back at her.
“You trust me?” he whispered behind her, his body pressed against her back.
“Yes,” she breathed.
His hands roamed slowly, almost reverently down her sides, sliding beneath her robe and exposing her inch by inch to the night.
“I want them all to see who owns you,” Dominic rasped. “To know you belong to me. That no one will ever touch you again.”
His hand tangled in her hair, pulling her head back as his mouth claimed her neck, biting, sucking, leaving marks that would remain long after.
Aria moaned, arching into his touch, her pulse racing. “Dominic...”
“Say it,” he growled. “Say who you belong to.”
“You,” she gasped. “Only you.”
The silk robe fell to the floor. His hands traced every curve, every vulnerable, exposed inch of her body, worshipping her like something sacred—and yet he claimed her like a man starved.
His lips were everywhere—her shoulder, her spine, the sensitive spot behind her ear. His hands gripped her hips as his breath grew ragged.
“Do you feel that?” he rasped, pressing harder against her. “That’s what you do to me. Every time I look at you.”
Aria’s knees trembled. He caught her easily, sliding one hand between her thighs, teasing her, drawing out desperate whimpers from her lips.
“Dominic—” she gasped. “Please...”
His voice darkened. “You’ll beg for me, princess. But only when I say you can have me.”
The dangerous game of control between them was like fire—burning both of them alive. But neither wanted to extinguish it.
When he finally thrust into her, it was desperate, possessive, wild.
“Mine,” he growled. “Every inch of you, mine.”
Their bodies moved in a rhythm that was more war than love — two forces colliding with breathtaking ferocity.
The glass fogged with heat. The city watched them from below, but Dominic didn’t care.
In this moment, Aria wasn’t just his wife.
She was his obsession.
His religion.
His power.
And he’d destroy anyone who tried to take her away.
