Confessed Truths.
Sanya & Jonathan Sovietro.
"What are we doing here?" The patriarch asked as his wife had astral projected both of them to the first Greeneway Bay pack, that Mikhail would learn from first, she had wanted to see if Mikhail was truly learning and it didn't hurt to have his father come along as well. "To see our son find redemption for what he did, I can't find Skyler to show him this, he's probably been cloaked with the heaviest magic possible, he doesn't want to be found, so I need you to accept that there is hope for him, for all our children." Sanya replied as she looked at Mikhail in the far distance, his eyes were red and puffy, he'd been crying, his torso was bandaged meaning he'd been receiving the lashes.
"He seems to be losing weight." The patriarch noted. "Yes, it's not an easy journey my dear, he's only beginning to understand what he put Skyler through, wolves may tolerate a lot of things but abuse of any kind was never one of them, —you know that." Sanya replied as the patriarch nodded, Sanya smiled and made the spell fade, she with her husband were back in their home. "Thank you, for talking to me about it and for taking me there." The large wolf mumbled. "You old sap, I know you, —you may be silent but your emotions never are, they may all mistake you for the strong, brooding, silent type but never myself, I know things affect you, even more deeply, so I know what you needed, now go, —Adrian is going home today." Sanya asserted as she smiled at her husband.
The wolf took her hand and kissed it. "My Iove." He whispered. "Charmer." She blushed as he left, as for Sanya she sighed and began to walk for the stairs but stopped when Erryn and her family walked in escorted by Alora, the man of the house lumbered to the scene from his office, he had wanted to get his coat, only to be met with Neill's other family. "I don't have time for this." The patriatch growled as he tried to pass the wheelchair ridden Neill. "What is this huh, —he's your son and you barely care." Erryn accused and the wolf growled again making her and her children stumble back.
"I have had nothing but care for this insolent child, he came from me, his  mother birthed him and we celebrated for a week, our son, our first born, he was our everything, then her, —she came along and made our family perfect, but do you know the scheming, the plots, the lies, —they tried to kill their mother, he abducted children and forced my pregnant Adrian to do all the horrible things he had to —to keep his family safe, —and I'm the one who doesn't care, what gives you the gall to even think I don't care, I have tried everything with Neill!" The man thundered, his breathing came in harsh pants as his will caused the ground to break.
"I didn't —." Erryn tried to explain. "Of course you didn't know because you thought of rushing here and accusing me as if I'm the one who made him a drug addict, but I was the one who cleaned up his messes, —he dragged his mate into the gutter and left her to die, so what exactly do you know about him, about me or anything of this family, —now when I say I don't have time, it means exactly that, —I am fed up with Neill to the point where he could just rot and I wouldn't care!" He yelled even louder, as he turned and made for the door, Neill from his wheelchair fell from the sheer instinct to get away. "Father, father." He mumbled as the patriarch banged the door so hard it broke into pieces and fell to the floor.
"Neill, —no stay on the chair." Erryn quickly helped him up. "What brings you here Erryn, —I gave you access to everything you and your family needed, and I've instructed the back to create two trust fund accounts for your children, which are now there, you know that, —so what it is it?" Sanya asked with a hardened gaze, the anger she felt from her mate had spilt into her, she hated the feeling of the man she loved furious on the outside but heartbroken on the inside, isn't that what all strong people do when they don't want to show how much pain they're in, to just shove the anger at the forefront.
"The doctor, —he said Neill was slowly healing, he needed a familiar setting to help stun any recognition, I was hoping we could stay here, to see if anything comes, —I'm sorry to just impose on you like this, but the kids, —Neill, it's taking it's toll." She began as she finally broke down and began crying, Sanya may have been angry but she understood, the poor woman had a burden placed on her that she never asked for, and Sanya truly could feel the pain she had  gone through because of Neill, therefore she decided to help, —putting aside everything that had happened just for a moment and being a kind mother.
"Alora show her to the cottage, it will be a hassle to help Neill move around with the stairs in here, and the change in view, —I'm sure he'd appreciate, —the cottage has enough room for you and your family and easily accessible for the help, so if you need anything they'll be there." She addressed Alora then Erryn, they both nodded as they turned to leave with Alora leading the way. "Mo—the—." It was barely there, a whisper from Neill's lips as they quivered and his head barely moved but it was there, to be a mother was to bear the burden of your children, —but what if that burden came with a greater deal of patience needed and work that you hadn't anticipated, Sanya didn't know what to do next, but she was sure as a mother she would fugure it out.
The New Parents & The Family.
"Do you have their nappies, —I'm not putting them in baby diapers just yet their skin is still too sensitive, —the baby monitors, —wait did Enzo get the onesies I told him to get, and I need the formula bottles, —Jax where's the sanitizer!" Ari all but rambled off and yelled whilst Jax was running around the room looking for everything his mate had stated. It was a cute sight to see, —how absolutely not ready they were. "I don't ever wanna be like this babe, —look at them, not a day out of the clinic and they're a mess." Enzo mused as Johnny chuckled and smacked his bicep.
"I want it though, I want to be in disarray and shambles like this, —so that at the end of the day when I finally not sleep, —I can gladly smile knowing it was worth it." Johnny replied as Jax came over with a smile, top bun on his head and handed the two mates, two very heavy bags of Ari's and the baby's stuff. "What the hell —what's in here?" Johnny hissed. "A quarter of the stuff we need, get that home would you." Ari replied as he radiated a tender energy, he was glowing and the motherly aura around him drew his brothers in and they obeyed everything he said. "Okay." Enzo replied just as the boys along with Johnny senior the patriarch walked in with a laughing Mark thrown over his shoulder.
"Jax, I can't fin—." Ari had meant to finish that but Jax was there to hand him Archie's blanky. "So finally going home, how does it feel?" The patriarch asked. "Unreal, for a while I'd actually gotten used to these walls and having Nik wake me up in the middle of the night just to be held, then Archie would cry for Jax, it's already starting to frustrate me." Ari replied with a chuckle as the wolf laughed in turn. "Where are your parents, —I thought they would be here." The wolf mentioned. "They're home, dad was setting up the room with an extra bed and moving some things around but surprisingly it seems there was two of everything, like they knew or something." The witch replied as he handed his grandfather a bag filled with who knows what, he grunted just a little when its full weight was on him.
"Don't ask." Johnny chuckled as he and Enzo walked out of a portal and just as they did Jax was there to hand them the last bag. "Finally!" Johnny heaved a sigh as their grandfather and Enzo went through the portal to deliver the bags. "I'll go get your release forms signed, do you want to go by car?" Jax mentioned but Ari shook his head in refusal right then. "We're using a portal, I can't have them outside yet, I know its been a week or so but I'm just not good with that yet." Ari replied and Jax nodded placing an understanding kiss in his hair. "I'll be right back." He promised leaving Ari by their boys. "Baby jitters, you had your siblings baby proof even the toys." The patriarch mused as he caught Kent in his arms growling lightly to make him laugh since they were using him as a jungle gym.
"I can't help worry about everything, it's as if everything sharp, bent or even slightly pointed makes me worry, —if my suspicions are right Nik has Jax's tendency of literally being clumsy with his tails and he's already randomly shifting which makes it harder to control and when he shifts Archie has random outbursts of power, I can contain it but his mana —it's like mine, and if you look at his hair he shouldn't have purple hair and yet there it is." Ari explained as his grandfather hummed thoughtfully. "I've never heard of a witch receiving a sacred flame so young, —its a sign, but of what I have no idea." The man replied as Ari just sighed, another thing about his children he had to worry about.
"But, —don't worry so much Adrian, —you're my heart, I trust you'll figure it out as you go, so don't worry." He reassured as Lizzie walked into the room with Jax. "I keep telling him that, —he won't stop, anyway I've got this for you, —you should know only one shop can emboroid that way, and it wasn't easy finding it." She stated handing Ari two baby blankets embroidered with his name and Jax's, and the names of their children on each one. "What's this?" The wolf asked. "Ari's grandma had a tradition to embroider the names of the parents and the children on their blankets as babes, and for each child that came after they would use the blanket and their name added to the blanket, unfortunately Ari's was lost in a fire." Lizzie was the one who replied as Ari snickered at her smug response.
"She's been talking to you hasn't she." Ari accused. "No." Lizzie replied trying to hide herself behind the patriarch, Jax quirked a brow her way and she groaned. "Yes, I've been talking to her, —you'd be surprised how much the woman knows about skin care." Lizzie replied making everyone laugh as the little choked cries of Archie made it to their ears. "I finished with the release forms so we can go." Jax told his mate as he picked up Archie, he cried a little then settled once he was in contact with his large papa. Nik also announced his waking with a cry and Ari cooed picking him up. "Oh papas baby, —what's wrong my little poppy." Ari soothed his baby as he held out his hand and a portal opened, a swirling orange mass.
"Boys, all through please, and Martin stop abusing granpa's leg." Ari chided just like a mother. "Okay." The three simultaneously replied with pouts and walked in."He's already the mother hen." Lizzie whispered. "I heard that!" Ari called out as he and Jax both walked through whilst the patriarch laughed following in with Elizabeth by his side. "So how does it feel, to be young, free, and learning?" The wolf asked the hybrid who smiled, her eyes watered but her smile didn't falter. "It's surreal, I never thought I'd have normalcy, I'd have people who would fight to have me in their lives this much, papa Nik teaches me how to defend myself, dad Renee teaches me my history, proper etiquette, being a lady, adjusting to going through the process of growing up like a semi normal everyday teen, Ari may have been in hospital but he teaches me how to control my gifts and my magic, Jax —he's the best older brother a girl could have, I like rough dangerous sports, any normal older brother would freak out when they hear that but he supports me, helps me find balance between what I like and keeping it feminine, —its perfect." She stated as they stood by the rails of the first floor, Ari and Jax having gone to soothe their children.
"As for Enzo, Johnny and the trips, they are the perfect brothers, I'm the only girl in this crazy family of all men but it doesn't feel like that, they know just what to say, and how to make me realize, —I belong here, —and I deserve to be here, I may not have parents anymore and soon my surname will change, I don't mind it one bit because I'd rather be part of this massively blended family than anywhere else, and the little time that I've spent here, I can honestly say I love them all, —I love my family." The hybrid Elizabeth finished as the wolf next to her hugged her, the vision of her parents fading from sight, they knew now she would be okay, as the ghostly sight of Ari's granma comforted her, she wasn't alone, she would never be.
"I'm happy for you, —granddaughter." The patriarch whispered as Lizzie smiled even wider, she had an ever growing family that truly loved her, for her —not her power or gifts. As they separated Kent ran up to Lizzie and hugged her making her chuckle. "Love you Lizzie." He muttered before letting go and running off giggling. Indeed she didn't want to be anywhere else. "Elizabeth come down here this instant!" Renee yelled as she winced. "What did you do?" Jax teased as he walked out of the nursery without Archie. "I'm sure it's about the burnt cake." She replied as Jax gasped. "If I were you, I'd run down there, check the lower left cabinets, I keep a stash of premade cake dough just get it ready and pop it into the oven, or you're dead." He told her and Lizzie made a mad dash for it leaving the patriarch laughing.
"You okay old man?" Jax teased. "Who are you calling old." He bit back as the two stood side by side with Nik coming up to greet the wolf. "Thank you for talking to her about it, was wondering when she would accept that this was home." Nik told the patriarch who nodded with a smile. "She's not just your child you know, —she's my granddaughter and I'm always there to help, as for Jax, he's a lost cause." The large man replied jokingly. "Hey!" Jax protested as they all laughed.
Ari was content, just laying next to his children, watching them as they slept soundly, Nik was already showing signs of having Jax's body whilst Archie was small and dainty like himself. "How's my favourite pair?" Sonia asked as she had astral projected into the room. "Fussy, I just put them down again, what's up?" Ari asked as Sonia smiled at Ari who reciprocated it. "It suits you, —being a mother." She stated as they both looked at the boys sleeping peacefully. "I never thought it included  this much sleepless nights." Ari mused making Sonia laugh. "You'll get used to it, —but anyway I need your help, I've been trying to find a way to contact imprisoned souls without tearing into the veil but it seems no spell works, —you're the medium, every dimension in the multiverse you can travel to, —can you help?" Sonia asked and Ari was perplexed.
"Why do you want to contact an imprisoned soul, the spell is hard enough without breaking through magic." Ari replied as Sonia messaged her forehead. "I don't want to alarm you but when Jose channeled mana from the ancestral dimension he left a trail of mana leaking through the veil and I've been doing my best with the kistune elders to get rid of it but some of it had already spilled into the demonic plane where Enzo came from, I was hoping to find a way to get into the dimension without causing any problems to see if whoever found the mana trace isn't using it to get out." Sonia explained as Ari breathed deep, this was indeed alarming but not cause for drastic measures.
"Come by the house tonight I'll go into the domain with you and we'll see if there's anything." Ari told Sonia who nodded gratefully. "Thank you Ari, —I owe you." She retorted as Ari waved her off. "I'm in need of a dangerous expedition anyway, something to get my mind off dead week finals and baby proofing." He chuckled as Sonia nodded looking at the twins lovingly before vanishing. "Who were you talking to?" Jax asked as he kissed his forehead. "Aunt Sonia, she needed help, where are Enzo and Johnny?" Ari asked and Jax made a facial expression between a wince and a cringe making his mate suspicious. "Should I worry." The witch asked as Jax immediately refused.
"They just went out, to sort something out once and for all." Jax replied as Ari nodded in understanding. "I hope it goes smoothly then." He whispered knowing well where the boys had gone.
Jonathan, Lorenzo & Kyle.
"Hey." Kyle nervously spoke as he looked at Johnny then at Enzo. "Okay, let's just stop here, —we know why we're here and frankly I don't care, what you did was fucked up in so many ways that I can't even imagine it was you, —that version of yourself that you prtrayed the first night we met at our old house, that was you, —arrogant, conceited and pompous, I'm not going to sit here and have you tell me a thousand apologies that amount to nothing, Kyle —you, us— it would never last, we're ghosts of a past that will never happen and that's the truth, and no amount of your apologies, and let's try again, whatever sweet sounding words you had planned will ever get you back what you lost, —I've been fooled by love once, I'm not stupid to go in for a second try, —I have what I need." Johnny had blown up, he'd literally placed his cards on the table.
"The bell chimes, and the lone tree withers away, you'll never take me back because you would rather not have lies and deceit, I understand, I'm sorry for what I did, —I truly am." Kyle whispered as Johnny got up with a sigh. "I'm happy for you,  but I don't forgive you Kyle, I forgive me for thinking you would be able to love without wanting more, goodbye." Johnny replied as he walked away and out of the restaurant. "You won't forgive me too?" Kyle asked in a small voice. "I did tell you, —I told you you would regret it, you never listened but today isn't for what I told you and neither will any day, I can't be your friend, lover or buddy Kyle, I wanted to work hard, provide for you and Johnny as best as I could but I wasn't enough, and honestly it hurt realizing I wasn't enough for you but it taught me a lesson, the only man who would ever love me was someone who understood what to struggle meant, to have nothing on your back and at the mercy of better men." Enzo muttered as he looked sadly at Kyle.
"You, —you don't know that, you know what you know and that's it, I can't argue with you there but I won't strive to be something you can't appreciate so as I said, you're not the one for me, unlike Johnny I have nothing to forgive because to me you're insignificant now, goodbye Kyle and I hope you find your one." Enzo finished as he straightened his coat and left as well, he vanished and appeared where his mate was, by a flower vendor. "Peonies and fushia." Enzo whispered as Johnny slightly jumped before settling and turning to face Enzo who smiled even wider. "My favourites." Johnny asserted. "I know."
