Nine years into it.....
Mallik's Pov
I was panicking so hard! Today was December 31st. The doom's day of my life. I had deliberately chosen this day as our wedding day because, I knew, this was the last day. Whatever Yash told me that day was all true. We did had obstruction in our love life on third year the sixth year, so it was no surprise that ninth year had to have come with an obstruction. So far, there was none, and it was already the last day of our and it was our trial period end, the hashtag test of the fairies of love.
Why does this happens to me only?
I wanted to cry so hard.
As for obstructions, the thing that happened on the third year was that my mother had a trial and she was freed, on bail though. She tried to harm Lily, but in return Lily did a number on her. Swear to god that was the worst day of my life.
I was in my office when her dad --who was already out from jail, with some of my sources-- called me and told me Lily was in Hospital, I practically flew out of the building and to the hospital only to find out that Lily had been attacked. That day I decided if law can't give punishment to that bitch woman, I will.
And I did! no one knows where she is, but not their fault, I had made her vanish away from here, and left her on an island no one was. I hope she is having adventure of life.
I'd hugged Lily and cried so much, that my eyes has gotten swollen to the point, I was not able to see anything. She had calmed me down and we had celebrated another win of our life. in a more intimate manner.
That was the first time we had sex. She had always been confident with me, and I was confident that no matter how many fucking tests come, we will surpass them all.
the sixth year was the worst!
Lily had gone no talk to me straight for a month.
In my defence, Advait was the one who fucked up! Lily had found a best friend, Urvi, during our masters and she became her best friend who never judged her. Advait took an instant liking towards Urvi and proposed her, and to Lily's disappointment and hundreds of warning Urvi accepted. But two years into it and my friend who can't keep in his pants cheated. I was not able to reveal anything because of Bro code, but one day, at our party, he crossed all the limits. I told Lily everything, and as if god had the signed, Advait got caught. I knew he deeply regretted it and did the worst fucking mistake of my life.
I defended him!
And Lily went all berserk over me telling me, that we were over (?) And straight for a month did not talked to me at all. No contacts! I had gone mad at that time. And almost started drinking, if not for Raghav Sir, Lily's father.
He finally calmed me down, and told me my fuck ups. I calmed and literally begged Lily to take me back. I was nothing without her. Not that I did not knew it before that month, but it was like a wake up call.
From then onwards, if Lily said she was right! She was right! I never argued with her again. So as you can see, the bigger we got, the bigger the fuck ups got. I proposed her three years back, and still decided to get married on 31st of the ninth year so that I can enjoy my marriage to my heart content.
But instead I was fretting because we did not have any fuck up since the sixth year. And I knew it will happen today. I'd thought that the obstruction will come in the starting of year and we can get married on 31st, but no! unlike other two times, this time the obstacle had delayed so late that it was end of the year.
Why had I not waited until 1st of Jan.
"I am fucked if something happened today!"
"Chill bro, nothing will happen!" Told me Yash, who was relaxing on the couch, I wanted to throw something at him. He was the reason behind all of them.
Nothing will go wrong! Nothing will go wrong! Right?
Wrong!
And as if I was the worst omen to myself, Urvi came huffing at the door!
"Lily ran away!" And I fainted!
"Hehehehe" I heard giggles around me, small little giggles.
I opened my eyes and cleared my vision, four faces were looking at me with a grin on there faces. I got up confused as hell. I was in my wedding, then how the hell I am in a garden.
"Look, this sad man! His bride ran away!" One of them said, I gritted my teeth, this little!
I got up and looked around, It looked like I was in some La-la land. As soon as I was at my feet, some goddess appeared in front of me. What is happening here!!!!!
"Hey child"
"Yes mam!" I replied. She smiled at me!
"I am Rati, Goddess of love, lust and passion!" She introduced, I joined my hands and bowed down. I don't know if she is real or not, but well! I am not taking chances.
"I was the one who gave you 3,6,9 test. " Uh oh!
"I was okay with the test, until my bride ran away!" She smiled again! Can't she take me seriously!
"I saw how your love for your bride, knows no bound so I have decided to take it back." I mentally squealed.
"Don't ever leave her hand" I nodded. vowing to myself, that I won't. "Don't ever fight with her, if she ever gets angry at you just listen!" Okay!!!! "But sometimes, you should shout at her too, love is like this only, the unforgivable sin in love is cheating, and abuse!" I nodded, true, even I think that.
"I am giving you my most beautiful flower, treasure her!" I smiled Lovingly at her. I know, Lily's beauty knows no bound!
"I will." I kneeled, and fainted again!
I woke up with a jolt. As soon as I did, on my bedside was sitting my bride-to-be. I got up and hugged her.
"I was so scared" I double checked her before finally huffing a sigh of relief. Her shoulder shook. and she kept her hand on her mouth.
"You are laughing at me!" I glared at her. She shook her head and burst into laughing!
"You really thought, I ran away!" She said.
"Obviously I did, when Urvi told me!"
"I was nervous that was why I said it!" She said. " I won't run away from you ever my husband!" She said. She don't know! We spent our sweet time talking and preparing ourselves before heading to where we will finally be able to be together forever! Her father gave her hand in mine.
"Never break her heart man! I trust you but still, if you ever fell out of love from her, bring her back to me, don't hurt her!" I won't, i can't even think of it, I smiled at dad and nodded my head. I got close to Lily.
"I vow to never let any kind of misery and hurt touch you my flower." I said. She smiled at me, before putting her forehead against mine. She shook her head.
"It's not that, it's come it may our way, we will always face it together. Remember its us against the world." I looked at her adoringly. Nine years since we met after years, nine years of all the hard work to remain together, and nine years full of love passion and love only.
"Have I ever told you that I met you when we were kids." She laughed at me.
"You think if you won't tell me, I won't know, weak boy!" She knew! She knew it all along.
I kissed her forehead.
"Yes, Its us against the world, my flos!"
