In the shopping district...
Time 11:18 AM...
Keo is shopping with the help of Konohamaru, Udon, Moegi, the reason why they help Keo buy some grocery was because of food.
They were buying some needs and food.
And the food that Keo like to make is a Filipino dish that is "Adobong Manok".
Three of the kid's loved the "Adobong Manok" food that Keo makes and as long he helps him, he can eat his cooking.
Udon's snot was running down, Keo grab a tissue that is inside a plastic wraping of the product inside his grocery bag and handed to Udon.
"Thanks, Rono Nii San", Udon thank Keo and use the issue to blow off the snot.
"Your welcome", Keo smiled, Moegi was holding the lighter bag, Konohamaru was holding to average bag and Udon is holding the lighter plastic bag.
Because of him sniffling with snot he might snot the bags, so he was given the smaller bag.
They walked away from the shopping district with lots of bag's carried.
Going to the direction of the apartment complex.
While chatting with the kids.
At the apartment complex.....
Keo had put the food items inside the fridge and upper cabinet.
Some of the daily necessities like bathing products, toothpaste, tissue, etc.
And he then went to the kitchen, wearing his green apron and prepard the tools and ingredients for cooking.
He then started cooking.
Ingredient's In Making Adobong Manok
2 tbsp canola oil
6 cloves garlic crushed
1 pc onion, sliced
1 kilogram chicken cut ups
2 tbsp vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
2 pcs bay leaves
1 tsp whole black peppercorns, slightly crushed
2 pc Knorr chicken cubes
Cooking Method
1: Heat oil in pan and sauté garlic and onions. Then add chicken to the pan and sear on all sides, until you have a little browning in the chicken skin.
2: Pour in vinegar, soy sauce and water. Add bay leaves, pepper and Knorr Chicken Cubes. Bring to a boil over high heat then reduce heat to simmer, but do not cover the pan. Continue to simmer for 10 mins.
3: Remove chicken pieces from sauce and fry in another pan until nicely browned.
4: Put back fried chicken pieces into sauce. Add sugar and let simmer again for another 10 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Serve warm.
In hours later the Adobong Manok was done.
Konohamaru, Udon, Moegi were excited when they smelled the Adobong Manok that Keo had made.
Everyone sat down as the rice was served into a bowl and the Adobong Manok was put into the table.
They first prayed as Keo was leading the prayer and everyone said.
"Ikadakimasu!", Everyone said as they dig in.
Konohamaru took a big bite and couldn't help, but smile and savoring the meal.
Moegi also savor's the food and drank some ice tea made by Keo.
And Udon ate, while blowing his snot into the tissue again.
Keo also ate and felt nostalgic eating the meal and misses living in the Philippines.
Then someone came in and it was....
"Boss!", Konohamaru called Naruto, while eating and drinking.
"Hey Guys!", Naruto greeted them as he was also hungry so he wanted to eat first.
"Come and eat, Naruto Kun, this plenty more to eat", Keo said invitingly to Naruto.
Naruto nodded and join in eating the meal, he was also exhausted.
After the lively meal...
The three kids said goodbye to Keo and Naruto, waving them back.
As they disappear from a distance, Naruto asked Keo.
"Can you tell me, about the ring?, Rono Kun", Naruto's curiosity was pretty obvious.
Keo then got stuck by lightning.
'Shit!', Keo was froze from the spot, Naruto use puppy no jutsu on Keo.
"Please, Rono Kun~", Naruto was secretly smirking, knowing that Keo couldn't handle his puppy no jutsu.
'Uuurgh!', A non-existent heart arrow shot Keo in the heart.
"No", Keo said, who is resisting from Naruto's jutsu.
"Pretty Please~, Dattebayo", Naruto pleaded even more.
Keo said "No" again, but Naruto never gave up.
The next day.....
Naruto did not stop, Keo had a huge headache of Naruto's instant pleading.
To the point Keo had to surrender, he didn't want Naruto to give him more headaches.
'Naruto's old habits are coming back', Keo thought.
"Fine", Keo said, Naruto on the other hand rejoice.
Keo first grab Naruto into the living room, closing the window and turned on the light's as the room was a bit dark.
Sitting down the dark forest green sofa.
"Naruto, don't tell anyone and never ever leak it out", Keo said, his expression was really serious.
Naruto promise not to leak it to anyone and nodded to the agreement.
"Naruto do believe in Magic?", Keo ask Naruto.
"No...." Naruto doesn't believe in magic at first then Keo showed him.
Keo gave a mind command to summon a golden light out of his hand.
Naruto couldn't believe it, but Keo said, if he believe's in magic and he is now believing it, once he saw it.
"Naruto, the ring I have is known a charm, I creates it to protect you from many critical danger" Keo explain's.
Hearing what Keo said, Naruto's heartbeat was fast and happy to have the ring, if not he would have been killed by Kakashi's hand, days ago.
Shaking his thought, Naruto wondered about how much Keo was hiding secret's from him.
He didn't want to act rashly.
"I believe you now, it's so cool!, I'll make sure to protect your little secret", Naruto had star's in his eyes seeing Keo conjured magic beside him.
"Thank You, Naruto Kun" Keo said with a relief and joy that plastered his face.
Optimistic about Keo and make sure he will grow stronger to protect his Keo, he wants to be the strongest Shinobi to protect his love one's.
Naruto then had a small conflict.
'Did my dreams and goal's change?', Naruto thought as he was in a very deep thought.
Beside Naruto, Keo was happy that Naruto was able to accept magic faster the expected.
Keo to help Naruto or aid him in the Chunin Exam's in a few months in Konoha.
'Naruto need's an intense training. Keo thought.
Suddenly Naruto felt a shiver down his spine and go glance at Keo, who was showing some evil spirit vibe that made Naruto shudder.
